Great view to the sea from the sitting room window. Good location very close to the central square, shops and restaurants.
The bathroom is old but functional. The kitchen is great but there is an outdated feel to the property, especially the electrics. The owner was late to meet us the following day for us to pay when we had to head off.

A felszerelés kissé egyszerű. Pl A légkondi nagyon zajos, rosszul elhelyezett, de legalább működött.

This was such an amazing place to stay. We both felt really "proper" staying in an authentic apartment on the Cinque Terre. The apartment was the perfect size for the two of us with all the necessary amenities. A highlight was watching the sunset from a stool set up by a window overlooking the town. One of the nicest places we have stayed on the Cinque Terre considering within our budget. Corniglia is also one of the quieter towns on the track so we had no issues with noise, but there was still enough happening for there to be pizzeria's and small grocery stores and cafes.

Very central location with absolutely stunning views of the ocean and monterosso in the distance.
Plenty of space to sit down after hiking the trails and enjoy a glass of wine.
Owners initially had sent the wrong code for lock box but a quick phone call and that was fixed in a couple minutes.
Be advised though, don't touch the switch IN the bathroom as that is for the water heater. The light switch for the bathroom is outside the bathroom. As well, the water is VERY hot (like scalding) on the highest temperature so caution how fast you turn up the heat. Good water pressure though.
Lots of stairs to get there and also get into the building but it's probably good for me. Would not be accessible for disabled persons.
Kind of hard to find although corniglia is small so not really a big deal. Just message or call the owners if there is difficulty. Street numbers aren't exactly accurate. It's essentially behind the smaller church and a little up the stairs to the back.

It was a nice place to stay and I am very satisfied with our time there. There are few things I want to mention as a clue for next guests:
☆The light for the bathroom is OUTSIDE the bathroom. The switch INSIDE is for the water boiler, so make sure you keep it on if you want to have warm water and hot shower.
☆ We visit the place in February, so the temperature inside upon our arrival was 11°, but after switching on the pellet heater it became comfortable after few hours. Our host has kindly arranged additional supply of pellets, when we went through the storage in house. To use the heater just press ON and wait for 5-7min until it will flame. As the pellets inside may occassionaly get stuck, when the heater starts beeping showing the error, just shuffle the pellets inside and restart the heater.
☆ The shutters outside should be kept fixed to prevent flappping. See the picture.
☆ The parking is remote (400-500 m from the house), but you can offload your luggage at the small square at the entrace to the village. In winter the parking seems to be free as no parking automate was functioning.
☆ The beach consists of big rocks, so if you want more comfortable surface, take a train to Montarosso or to Riomagggiore.
☆ The best place to watch the sunsent is a terrace at the end of the village. The view is superb.
I liked our stay very much.

Location, they allowed early check in, friendly, and really beautiful apartment with view - would definitely stay again!
There was no aircon in the bedroom, although the aircon from the kitchen/diner was strong enough to help with the temperature. Bathroom is a bit out of date and very small shower, but very clean.

The location is good and the apartment is very nice. There is a quaint shoulder-high window that offers sea peaks. The town is small and quite so be sure that is what you want.
Beware that you have to climb a lot of exceptionally steep stairs to get to the apartment. This place would NOT be suitable for anyone who is older, who is out of shape or who has a lot of luggage.
Our cell service was poor (2 different carriers) so contacting the owner was difficult which resulted in a long wait to access the apartment. Get check-in details and directions before arrival.
The owner was incredibly rude. At the end of the stay, she insisted on cash payment and tried to argue that this was clear in the description. I checked Booking.com and nothing was mentioned about cash only. When I pointed this out, she argued that all Italians work this way (they don’t as we haven’t yet had anyone require cash). She threatened to call the police when we said we had to leave and couldn’t get cash to her before our departure. This conversation was over the phone and she complained that we weren’t around when she stopped by the previous day (we were taking it easy and didn’t go out late and came in by 8 pm every night so I can only assume she didn’t try hard). She also complained about not being able to reach us by phone (we couldn’t reach her either). When we suggested she could’ve reached us easily by email, she complained that isn’t how she operates. Her policy of notifying renters of the “cash only policy” at the last minute resulted in a delayed departure and missed connections.
I travel a lot internationally and this is by far the worst host I have encountered. I expect more for a property in this price range.

Corniglia is the least touristic place among the 5 Cinque Terre Villages. One can take peaceful walks at night near by the stay which has great views. The place also has a view which we loved. The stay is worth the price .
