About this apartment rental

Welcome to Corniglia, the most typical and characteristic village of the Cinque Terre. We would love to host you in our wonderful brand new apartment (May 2017) with incredible views of Manarola and the sea. This is our personal vacation home, and we are happy to share it whenever available!
We are strategically located in a very quiet area, sheltered from the noise and confusion of the village, yet only a stone's throw away from shops and restaurants.

We can book (if available) a private parking space in the building's secure parking lot. It's 15 € per day and is highly recommended since parking on the road is scarce and costs 12 € / day.

The house is brand new. The whole building has been renovated and is a historic site in the heart of the National Park.
The bedroom has an extremely comfortable queen size wooden bed (no metal, all wood, all natural) with brand new Memory foam mattress. In the living area we have a new and XXL sofa bed, with a new and very thick Memory Foam mattress.
The brand new kitchen is fully equipped and features a gas stove top and a microwave.
We also provide a new Nespresso machine for your fresh morning coffee!

We are located in a fantastic area, just 150 mt. From the center of the village, in a very quiet and peaceful area. Here you will be far from the incredible noise of the village at night, perfect for relaxation.

Our friend Gabriel lives and works in Corniglia, so he will be available whenever needed. We will provide a contact number for him.
Otherwise you will be able to find him at Caffè Matteo in the center of the village where he serves delicious Cappuccino and other mouthwatering local specialties! He works there between March and November, in shifts, sometimes in the morning and in other days during the evening or afternoon.
You can enjoy a great breakfast at Caffè Matteo for a very special price, 5 €. We have a deal with them, they serve Cappuccino, Croissant and fresh Orange Juice, but you can ask for anything!

Paola’s property is absolutely stunning and spotless. It’s nestled perfectly just outside of the Corniglia town centre, making it the perfect place to stay in Cinque Terre, especially during the high season. While we saw many of the other towns in the area were extremely crowded, Corniglia’s location on a hill makes it an exclusive retreat after a long day of exploring. I cannot say enough good things about this stay. Paola and Gabriel were not only welcoming, but readily available to meet our every need, going above and beyond. I would absolutely stay here again for any other Cinque Terre trips!

Although our car broke in the serpentines of cinque terre (I recommend coming via train), Paola helped us very much with everything and was very kind and accommodating. We were very thankful for her and her understanding. The apartment is exactly as in the pictures. Just simply beautiful and stunning with the view. Corniglia is exactly in the middle of the five towns, so you get in every other town very fast with train. We would come again, but next time with train 😄🙏

So amazing to stay in this wonderful home! We wanted to do Cinqua Terra but not be in the heart of the towns. The Ladybug was remote enough and at the same time close enough to everything. We parked the car and use the very convenient trains and ferries to get around. The bus looked helpful too but we committed to walking up the steps to burn off all the delicious food we were eating. We aren’t hikers but ran into many who were really enjoying themselves. The Ladybug had amazing views and a very pleasant breeze blew through the home the entire time we were there making it such a comfortable and restful place! I highly recommend it!

We loved our stay at this property. The whole place was comfortable and easy. As advertised, it's just slightly off the main village so it's quiet (a big thing for me as light sleeper) but still so easy to access everything. The view from the bedroom is exquisite, and it was very clean and well maintained. We loved Corniglia as it has a smaller, less touristy vibe than other villages in Cinque Terre, and the hiking is amazing. If you are looking for a convenient launch pad, this is your place. We were sad to leave!

We loved the views from place and large windows. It was quite and away from hustle and bustle yet steps to the town, restaurants, hiking trails and caffes. Paolo was super responsive, answered our questions so quickly and so helpful. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom perfect. The shuttle to and from the train station can get full, so just be prepared to walk. We like walking so no problem for us. This spot was ideal for the 2 of us. It was great. Would highly recommend

Heaven on earth. The pictures cannot express how beautiful the place is and VERY clean. The host could not be more helpful. It is located right off the main road about a quarter mile up from the village. The first right past a bed and breakfast. Would highly recommend and plan on going back!!! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful views to the sea from the bedroom. The host provided great instructions for check-in as well as restaurant and other recommendations. The property is excellent, but Corniglia isn’t the easiest village as far as access compared to the others we visited due to the location of the train station. We loved the apartment, but Corniglia wasn’t our favorite village though that is no fault of the host.

Just off the main area, with beautiful views of the sea. We really enjoyed the location, good kitchen amenities, air conditioning, and ample bathroom (with clothes washer). It was perfect as our base for exploring the area. We recommend and would happily stay again. Very attentive and gracious host.

The view, the excellent service and cleanliness, the location and most of all the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts--all of this made our stay in Corniglia a true joy. We took the bus up the hill and arrived without complication. Gabriel was there to ensure an easy turn around. We arrived early and he brought our bags in to keep them while he cleaned and we went to town for provisions. We liked just being a little bit on the edge of town and spent a lot of time just gazing at the view. We hiked to both adjacent towns on well marked trails, swam at the cove, and dined at several Corniglia establishments. Cooked in the well equipped kitchen, as well. Cannot recommend more highly.

Gorgeous views in perhaps the most quiet of the five towns within easy walking distance of the ‘downtown’. While small (and the second bedroom is a pull out couch in the living area) the unit is pristine and very adequate. Great videos showed us all we needed to know. Unit has a gorgeous bathroom and is finished to a high standard. You will want to take the bus from the train station as the hill is a climb with luggage.

Apartment was just down the street from the center of Corniglia, a small and charming town in the Cinque Terre. Check in instructions were clear which was important as there was no in-person check in. Property owner arranged for us to be able to park our car which was appreciated, but note that it is a little distance with stairs to the property if you have a lot of luggage. Apartment was very clean and the décor/linens were basic, however the kitchen and bathroom were nicely updated. View from the bedroom was breathtaking; unfortunately, the bed is not situated in a way to really enjoy it so we pulled up some chairs to the window. Not much of a view from the kitchen/living room area so we wound up hanging out in the sunny bedroom. Very quiet location; however reaching the town was a bit nail biting with lots of hairpin turns on a very narrow road. Gabriel was a very helpful property manager.

Corniglia is the middle town of the 5, and we loved it. The area is incredibly beautiful, and Corniglia is one of the least saturated with tourists, probably due to it's location (ie, does not have a port). The town is easily accessible by train, and the property is walking distance to the train station and the town center, and it's beautifully situated at the side of a hill with great views. It is very nicely updated and clean, and is very well equipped. The driving directions to the property provided by the owner were spot on (they organized a parking spot that we payed/day), and we even got to try some of the restaurants they recommended (wonderful!). The only issue we had was the size of the unit, which was listed as a two bedroom. It is a one-bedroom with a fold-out couch in the small common area. It is not private, and quite tight for two couples without the second room! We have communicated this to the owner during our stay, and he said he will work on fixing the listing so hopefully this will not be an issue for future guests. Regardless, we very much enjoyed our time at this truly magnificent area.

We adored Corniglia and this apartment was adorable and spotless and well equipped. Good communication from the owner/manager who offered a ton of fabulous suggestions/tips about enjoying the area. My only complaint is that the apartment is listed as a two bedroom andBecause there are photos with two different bedspreads, it is deceiving. It is really a one bedroom with a fairly uncomfortable sofa bed in the living room. Would be perfect for two people but it was not spacious enough for our family with two tonight teenage daughters. Should really be advertised as a one bedroom with a sofa bed

This is a wonderful location when going to Cinque Terra, centrally located,! The apartment was very clean and had amazing views and everything you would need for great trip to Cinque Terra. At the end of a long day, you could walk to a local restaurant that had amazing food and wonderful owner and employees if you want to just relax! It was a very quiet building overlooking the sea and local vineyards. We would definitely stay in this apartment in Cornelia again! It is the smallest of the Cinque Terra but one of my favorites! Grazie!

We stayed at this property in August and therefore it was very hot and humid at the time. As this place does not have air conditioning, the fan was our saving grace to sleep at night. This place suited our needs nicely and we enjoyed staying in the wonderful little village of Corniglia. There is a shuttle that drops you off directly in the village of Corniglia and then you walk for 5 minutes to this property. If you walk up to this place from the train station it is a walk that requires a little stamina in the heat, especially if you are taking up luggage.

A clean, comfortable and well equipped property. For us, it was the personal touch that made it special. Contact is easy and responses very quick. Family of 4 with two teenagers, house is not huge but very good layout. Bed very comfortable and the pull out was absolutely what our kids needed after all the hiking! Kitchen is super with Nespresso machine! We arrived early and were able to leave our bags to allow us a great afternoon hiking. We had a very enjoyable stay. This is only our second VRBO experience, but definitely our best! Many thanks.

The place is ideally located, just a few meters from downtown Corniglia, but far enough to have some privacy. Corniglia is the middle town of the 5 that form Cinque Terre, so you can move in either direction. The view from the bedroom was breathtaking. And everything was very clean. The final touch was a friend of Paola that rang the bell just a few minutes after we had arrived, bringing wine, water and sweets. They also had files on everything that was available in the region. We loved the town of Corniglia and this property was ideally located. We went out for every meal but could have cooked in the brand new kitchen if we wanted to. The owner was wonderful and did send good information and directions. We loved our stay and the views were breathtaking.
