Lovely apartment let down by the bed.

Pleasant staff, check in and checkout was a breeze. The property was updated and had a lovely seaside decor. Great aircon, modern bathroom with amenities. Nice, functional kitchen.

I would have given this property a much higher score as I really did enjoy my stay. Unfortunately there was one major let down and I urge management to rectify this. The bed was some kind of temporary fold out bed and not comfortable at all. I could only sleep on one side as there was a gap in middle. This was a big disappointment considering the rest of the apartment was amazing. Lastly, there was a gadget mounted high on the wall, possible a wifi modem, that made a buzzing sound and couldn’t be turned off.

We enjoyed our stay very much. There are a few things that could be done to improve the experience.

The rooftop terrace (and view of the sea) was great. The amenities were decent. The A/C worked great. It had what we needed. And the little village of Corniglia is charming. Good wifi.

The bathroom is extremely cramped for tall people like myself. The toilet seat was not attached (broken); the manager said they did know about it, so hopefully future guests will find it fixed. The bed was saggy. I was glad to be off it after 3 nights. Be aware that the location is loud, with the bar across the street staying open late. Bring ear plugs.

Location great as hiking starting point

Seems like the bathroom has a sewer problem, since it smelled really bad all the time. The smell creeps into the front room too. Mould on the wall of the bathroom. Need to stand up to actually see the view on the terrace. Loud since opposite a bar

The city is great. This apartment is not.

The place had a nice terrace. It was located central in the city, however, just next to a bar that was super noice especially during the evenings and nights.

Where to start. I’m honestly super surprised that this place got such nice reviews from others. There was one window in the tiny living room facing a brick wall. So no see view or view at all which gave a feeling of being in a box. The see view from the terrace was only visible when standing up and looking out a fence. No see view when sitting down. The bar next door was SUPER laud several nights and evenings during our stay (waking up both us and our kids several times at night). The hot water in the shower was not working. You had to keep the water running for up to 7-10 minutes before it got hot. Then it was burning for a minute or two before turning cold again. The place was not that well cleaned. The table downstairs was tiny for 4 people. The table on the terrace was falling apart. I have never before shared a review like this before, but I would really not recommend this place. The city is great. This apartment is not.

This room was perfect for our needs with a family of four, including two pre-teen/teen boys.

Corniglia is the middle of the 5 towns. It is also the only one not based by the sea - it's up high. We loved that it was a quiet town with beautiful narrow walking paths.... Just be warned that to get from the train station to the town you must either walk up an impressive staircase of a few hundred steps. You can also catch a bus into town if you need but that's not particularly obvious for everyone. The walk up the staircase is beautiful if you can make the trek! Our stay occurred during some hot days - this place had a great air conditioner and a dehumidifier!

The "sea view" isn't a grand view of the sea but for us, it was still a beautiful view so this didn't bother us at all.

All in all we didn't enjoy our stay.

Nothing wrong with the apartment itself, nothing fancy but sufficient for a short period of time.

Unfortunately, unlike others I didn't find the fact there is a bar just opposite of the apartment door fun. The bar was open late, people were literally sitting on the doorstep behind our doors until 1 pm or so having laud drunk conversations. It's like trying to sleep in the middle of the living room during the party. Unless you don't like to party everyday outside your door with other people I don't recommend this place. The bar staff and the owner should AT LEAST try to stop people sitting at the doorstep with sights/plants/gentle reminders AND as a must have - replace the entry door to the apartment.

it was a great location and beautiful view! we were so thankful for the covering on the terrace so we could hang out there in the afternoon! It was so central to amazing restaurants as well. The staff were so helpful! a great find!

Just minor things! the toilet seat moved a lot and the shower took a while to get hot. And you just have to be ok with loud nights since it is across from a restaurant. (we knew this coming into it though! so just mentioning that for others if that is not your thing). Nothing that would keep us from encouraging others to book there!

Staff from the cafe across the street were very helpful and quickly sorted out two small problems we had. We especially enjoyed the terrace area upstairs after a day of hiking.

Lovely suite, well equipped. The staff of the bar across the lane manage this place as well. They speak good English and are friendly and helpful. We were happy here.

Nice location if you want to stay in Cornelia, but pricy for what you get if you only need two beds.

No complimentary breakfast but has a nice kitchen. Location right in the heart of Cornelia. Decent shower. Very easy to enjoy charming Cornelia and shop for inexpensive food at the local markets. The dehumidifier was very effective.

The bed surface was badly depressed on one side. We booked late at had to choose to stay in Cornelia, which is the least convenient of the five towns for several reasons There is no ferry as there is no ocean access, and several nearby trails were closed, plus the road in was long. We were lucky to find parking out on the incoming road near the trail ticket office. After days of hiking on the often steep trails we wished the unit had a clothes washer.

Poor

The appartment was very cold. I carry a little thermometer with my Swiss knive. When we arrived the temperature in the appartment was 12°C. We complained, but it did not help. The maximum temperature in the living room / kitchen was 16°C and this only after 5 days . Owner and administrator were not friendly and not helpful. It was loud in the evening. There is a noisy bar across the alley which plays loud music until 11 o'clock and after the bar closes people stay in front of the bar talking loudly for a long time.

Lovely comfortable apartment

Lovely apartment with a great view. Very comfy, clean, nicely decorated. Being able to sit outside on the terrace in the evenings was really nice, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast... Although we did get our coffee from la Scuna opposite - best coffee all trip!

Amazing location but can be very noisy at night

Great location on the beautiful Cinque Terre. Great character and a fabulous rocky cove for swimming and cliff jumping (kids LOVED this) only a short (but very steep) walk away. Loads of restaurants to chose from. Recommend Sea Food. Apartment was clean and good kitchen etc although we did not cook. the terrace of the deluxe apartment was nice for a drink and to dry out our swimmers etc.

The delux apartment at street level had the second bed in the living space very close to the front door. On our first night (a Sunday) all was ok but on the second night (a Monday) the bar across the street was open until midnight and my kids could not get to sleep as it was so loud - literally felt like people were in the room with us. The shower was also not good. Either scalding hot or if you turned it down a little it would go cold. Could not get it to be just warm.

Das Appartement liegt super zentral in Corniglia. Es ist sehr stylisch und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles was man benötigt um ein paar schöne Tage zu verbringen ist vorhanden. Dir Dachterasse ist ist wunderbar. Rund um toll!

Uitstekende plek voor bezoek aan Cinque Terra.

Uitstekende locatie voor paar dagen Cinque Terra in minst toeristische dorpje van de vijf. Accommodatie lag centraal in Corniglia naast het centrale pleintje met uitzicht op zee van een groot dakterras. Rijden naar het dorp en parkeren is beetje uitdagend maar prima te doen.

De badkamer was erg klein en laag.

Parfait pour profiter de la vie de ce joli village.

L'appartement est au coeur du village, propre et cosy avec une terrasse sur le toit. Facilité d'accès grâce au personnel du bar juste en face pour le check-in et le check out.

Du bruit en soirée avec la rue juste derrière la porte d'entrée et tôt le matin avec des travaux sur l'immeuble d'à côté. (Désagréments indépendants des hôtes.)

Unas de las habitaciones de uno de los apartamentos quedaba sobre una calle de circulación continua de personas. Entonces no era muy cómodo por la privacidad.
