Would stay again.

Clean - good facilities. Newly decorated. Directions (with pictures) to the accommodation was very helpful. Right near the bus stop (1.5euro from the station) bus is a must if you have luggage - steep climb from the station. Great central location to the main shops/restaurants. This was one of our favourite villages of the five - very picturesque.

Need to use google translate or chat gpt to communicate face to face. Self check in could also be an option. Some of the blinds were missing so pretty bright at night.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, the location was excellent, the apartment was spacious and clean. An excellent value. We enjoyed meeting local residents who live and work in Corniglia. They were all very helpful and kind. A very special little town.

Air conditioning Staff were friendly

Lack of directions to find the place... Hiked up lots of steps with luggage, then we're taken back down them, round the corner and up loads steps more in the middle of a really hot day. Would have appreciated directions to our actual place to save us all the unnecessary stair climbing. No tea bags or milk, all other places in our month long trip provided this, so that was disappointing.

Great location, but missing some rental basics

Corniglia is a tiny town, and a great mid-point along the Cinque Terre. Residenza Solferino has a great location.

The home is missing some important small touches; especially given the high cost. For example, the home has a small kitchen, but no salt, pepper, sugar, oil, wine opener or other basics to actually cook with. There is nowhere comfortable to sit—just beds and a kitchen table. The shower is fine, but the shower curtain is not long enough, so water escapes from the shower. And we were there on a very hot day; the upstairs air conditioner is pretty weak, so the home's temperature was uncomfortably warm.

Beautiful clean apartment located in the middle of Corniglia!

I had another booking fall through and was able to get this one on a very timely manner. The owner was very helpful when at first I had trouble reaching them. If you don’t have whatsapp I recommend getting it, as it’s easiest to communicate with the owner that way. Anyway, this place was amazing clean and comfortable. I slept very well here. Location is very central to the restaurants and shops in Corniglia. A beautiful place in a beautiful town. Thank you!

La struttura si trova nel centro di Corniglia, a mio parere la più bella delle cinque terre, adiacente alla piazzetta centrale vicinissima ad una delle terrazze panoramiche più belle da dove si possono ammirare panorami mozzafiato e le restanti cinque terre. le stanze sono ampie e luminose, bagno spazioso, cucina munita di tutta l'attrezzatura, soggiorno spazioso, camere da letto decisamente belle, letti grandi e comodi. I vari appartamenti sono curati maniacalmente, arredati con gusto si presentano pulitissimi e accoglienti. Staff professionale, educato ed efficiente. Ci tornerò sicuramente. Grazie.

Poche cose da segnalare, climatizzatore eccessivamente rumoroso, mancano i cuscini bassi e il servizio di checkout posticipato graditissimo ma un pò troppo oneroso...

Leider keine schöne Erfahrung

Wäre die Wohnung nicht so feucht und muffig, wäre sie perfekt von Lage uns Ausstattung her. Das Bad sieht sehr neu gemacht aus, es gibt eine gut ausgestattete Küche. Auch in puncto Sauberkeit gab es nichts zu meckern.

Die Wohnung ist sehr feucht und muffig. Als wir dort waren hat es so schimmelig gerochen, dass wir uns sehr geekelt haben. Die Luft ist so feucht, dass es schwer fiel zu atmen und sogar die Matratze sich so feucht angefühlt hatte, dass es unangenehm war darauf zu liegen. Auch ausgiebiges Lüften hat nicht geholfen. Erholsamer Schlaf war so nicht möglich. Wären wir mehrere Tage in Corniglia geblieben, hätten wir uns wegen gesundheitlicher Bedenken eine andere Unterkunft gesucht. In Anbetracht dieser Punkte ist die Unterkunft einfach viel zu teuer (wir haben über 200€ pro Nacht gezahlt).

Nice comfortable appartment

The apartment location and space was good. It was clean and located in the village- centre. The apartment facilities were basic but were good enough for our stay ! Cristina was very kind and was always available when something was needed. Would definitely come back again !!

Nothing big but would have been better if we had a balcony to spend our evenings. Also as we did daily hiking and some beach visits, it would have been good if we had a washing machine so that we could wash our clothes before packing !

Nice with a few exceptions

The room itself was nice. It is situatedin the town center near a outdoor Cafe. The cafe had a someone singing that sounded more like howling. We were not sure if he was supposed to be comical or serious. We came to hike so having this outside at bedtime (9pm for an early rise) was not suitablefor us. There was hot water for shower on arrival. In the AM there was none. We found out there is a hot water heater in the room that had been turned off or down. This resulted in no showers before hike as we were on a time table.

I never stayed there, never checked in, never received anything and yet they took my money.

The property owner owned (2) two properties in Corniglia. The owner accepted my first booking and I paid in full. The air-conditioning was not working and no one, not the owner, not the property manager nor anyone else was there to fix the problem. I booked another room after contacting the property owner and manager about the issue. The property owner, it turns out also owned the second property that I booked for (1) one night. The owner realized that they caused the second booking and promised a refund of the second property. They never issued the refund. It was a scam if you ask me. I would never again stay at a property owned or managed by these folks.

Perfect quiet location in beautiful Corniglia! Great host, who even made a restaurant reservation for us! We loved that there is a shuttle to/from the train station for 2.5 euros. The property is near the very best gelato—Alberto’s Gelateria.

Thin walls meant we heard noisy neighbors, but not a big deal. Tiny shower.
