Una piacevole scoperta

Appartamento spettacolare, perfetto per passarci una/due notti. Corniglia di per sé non è facile da raggiungere se siete in macchina ma non abbiamo avuto problemi con il parcheggio (a pagamento), lasciatela in Via della Stazione. L'appartamento è proprio nel cuore di Corniglia, circondato da tanti servizi. Funzionava tutto bene, l'host rispondeva subito ad ogni nostra domanda. Non abbiamo avuto problemi con il check in, era molto organizzato. A contrario di quanto ho letto nelle altre recensioni, era tutto molto pulito.

sicuramente questo appartamento ha un grande potenziale che personalmente sfrutterei di più, soprattutto la parte del giardino con vista. Farei magari una collaborazione con il bar di sotto, molto buono a mio parere e aggiungerei la colazione inclusa. Aggiusterei quelle piccolezze all'interno dell'appartamento, come alcune luci staccate o rifare completamente la doccia, ma non sono indispensabili. Se cercate il basic moderno non fa per voi, la particolarità di questo appartamento è riuscire a vivere le Cinque Terre a 360 gradi, immergendosi nella cultura ligure.

Great location just off the main pedestrian street. Of course, the terrace area adds a lot!

The whole place needs a deep clean. Every-other light bulb needs replacing. But worst of all the building leaks on both floors during heavy rain. I had to mop the floor with towels to keep it at bay.

A poorly maintained apartment with major electrical issues, lack of cleanliness, and unresponsive hosting—only the locat

The location of the property was absolutely excellent—truly unbeatable. It’s easy to reach by bus from the train station (just €2.50 and well worth it). The bus drops you right in the heart of town. From there, take the pathway up the left side of the restaurant, past the gelato shops, continue until you reach Pan Vine bar, then take the immediate left up the stairs. A charming route that adds to the experience!

The only thing this place has going for it is the location. Everything else falls short. Serious electrical issues—you can’t run both ACs with the fridge, or even plug in a kettle without tripping the circuit. Half the lights (especially in the bathrooms) didn’t work, and only two burners on the cooktop were functional. The apartment wasn’t professionally cleaned and felt unprepared on arrival. Communication with the host was poor—we had to call just hours before check-in to get instructions, despite repeated messages days in advance. For the price, this place offers no real value.

The only thing was that if you had both air con units running, it would blow the fuse. Nothing that caused us too much worry!

Very disappointing, not recommended!!

Location. Host let us leave our luggage at the house before check in time.

WiFi wasn’t working during our stay. The air conditioning kept turning off every 30 minutes, making it hard to sleep comfortably. There was no shampoo or body wash provided. The ground floor had an unpleasant smell, and the shower there was partially broken. The second-floor shower didn’t have hot water. Communication with the host was difficult—we had to follow up multiple times for check-in instructions, even after sending our documents, and only received the details at the very last minute.

Mold issues and non responsive host

The location. You had a beautiful view from the rooftop.

The host wasn’t very responsive after we started complaining about the mold we found in both bathrooms and a non-working refrigerator. At one point, I sent him 2-3 emails, but he never responded. The host did send someone over the next day in the afternoon to take a look at the issues, but the host never contacted us ahead of time to leave the keys in the lock box. So, the serviceman or cleaning lady couldn’t get in because we didn’t stick around the mold infested apartment. In addition, the place wasn’t thoroughly cleaned before we even checked in. I found garbage and empty beer bottles in the garbage can underneath the kitchen sink. When I emptied the trash to tidy up the place, I discovered more mold on the bottom of the garage can. There was also a pool of water in the freezer compartment. When I initially contacted the host about the refrigerator not working, the host asked me to make sure it was turned on. I did and I notified him immediately to let him know the thermostat in the refrigerator was turned up to the highest level. I also notified him again that it didn’t appear to be working 3-4 hours later. Finally, I notified the host the very next morning to complain it still didn’t work. Also, I complained about the mold in both bathrooms a few times and requested another accommodations because of the mold issues and non-working refrigerator. Once again, the host never responded to my emails which are all documented on booking.com. I also took pictures that I will be posting as undisputed evidence of the mold discovered in both bathrooms and in the bottom of the garbage can underneath the kitchen sink.
