Beautiful, unique apartment !

The apartment was so unique and beautiful! really great shower! Very hot water and great water pressure!

It would have been nice to have some instructions left on how to operate the stove. Could not get it to work.

We liked that the room was very calm despite being in the centre of the village. We liked the rustical concept of the room with walls of stone. We liked the view from the window.

We would have appreciated pillows less full and more soft. The Wifi got killed whenever we switched the TV on. Probably the internet connection gets overloaded when the party upstairs is using the connection heavily. Taking out the modem and putting it back restored the wifi, after some time.

An amazing place with one of the best views you could wish for.

The location and view is why you choose this place - one of the best you could hope for. The sunsets were amazing. The apartment is decorated in a plain and modern way. There was washing up liquid and cloth, toilet paper and shower products. The internet was consistent and around 15mbps, WIFI signal strong. The place was clean. Tv had no signal (not a problem for me) but has apps, eg youtube, amazon etc Host shared a video to help find the property. There are nine small steps along the street to get to the property but that's nothing in Corniglia and the 5 Terre. It's easy to find as its on the main street, very near to the panoramic terrace at the end.

The negatives are minor and are mentioned so the property can be improved and other guests know what to expect. Tourist tax is €2 / person per night for the first 3 nights had to be left on the table - this was not expected. I found the host s communications a little unwelcoming. Last minute entry instructions, deposit, warnings eg about candles (just remove them) etc. There is no freezer section in the fridge (which is turned off on arrival, so no quick cold drinks), but if you turn it up to full and place your water at the back it gets very cold, which I like to take out when walking. There is no kettle, which is a problem if you like tea (maybe only a British issue). There is a coffee pod machine. There are two usable items for cooking but the pot is quite large so it and the frying pan don't fit at same time on the two ring hob. There is only one hook, next to the shower. It could do with more ie in the bathroom for towels, in the hall for coats and in the kitchen for towels . There is a cupboard for clothes with hangers. The balcony would benefit from a couple of fold up chairs - the ones in the apartment are too big.

Great place to stay. This is one of my favorite hotels in cinque terre.

I loved the view and where it was located right in the town. The place was nicely decorated and great air conditioning.

The light switch for the room hall is also outside your room door so in the middle of the night the other hotel guests turned on my light on accident. It’s a weird set up for the light.

Good value accommodation in Corniglia, beautiful decor

Beautiful accommodation, nicely decorated lovely sea view. Could use more storage space so we could unpack and it is very cool in April. I imagine would be beautifully cool in summer. Double bed was really 2 singles pushed together

Corniglia is a wonderful little place. The room is perfect for a couple.

Great location, easy check in. Very private and quiet. Spacious enough with a table to get work done if you need. Strong wifi. Host was easy to communicate with. They gave us a bag of fresh fruit. There was a small drying rack to hang clothes at the window. Nicole was very helpful with making reservations for us and very responsive.

This was brought to the attention of the host, the floors had not been cleaned before we arrived so I used the vacuum they had between the units. The host said it was an anomaly, which I gather it was because most ratings said how clean the space was, which is why I booked it. It would be nice to have somewhere to put your soap and other things in the shower. They do provide shampoo and body wash in large bottles.

All in all good

The apartment itself is quite nice. Spacious, cozy and very nicely decorated with a good view. Very clean. Easy check-in and out.

The pre-deposit policy is a bit weird but the owner did give it back to us on time. The apartment is right in the middle of Corniglia, but tbh this town itself is really tiny with not too much to explore, so if you’d like to have more activities to do in your base town I’d recommend to stay in a bigger town such as Monterosso.

It could be better

The view. Also the room was comfortable.

The room was underground (that we didn't know) & there was a strong smell of humidity (that we were allergic). No flexibility with late check out, as we asked for a 2h delay and we had to pay extra 50euro (discount price). Also, they adviced us not to use the candles that were in the room as an extra cost will be charged. Just to mention that the candles were already used. Finally, in order to send us further info about the location & check in process, we had to pay in front through account extra 100euro for warranty just in case we destroy sth or not leaving the place as we found it (clean kitchen & bathroom). The received the money back to our account 15days after check out.

3rd bed very uncomfortable Kitchen is tiny, do not trust it for cooking The owner required a 100€ money transfer as a deposit/guarntee into her account which did not appear in the terms of the booking. I found it highly unusual and it caused me some worry. Also, she wrote to us during checkin that she charges 4€ for using 2 ornamental candles in the apartment which we found unkind. In general, we felt the level of hospitality was medium.

Corniglia is a very very small town and it was nice to have the apartment located in the "city center" area although it is extremely crowded.

steep steps from the front door into the apartment since the apartment is basement level- so if be mindful if you have heavy suitcases or you bad knees. Although the apartment has 1 big balcony doors facing the ocean, the apartment is a bit dark since this is the only source of natural light and there a few lights inside.

Distanza dal parcheggio dovuta al paese. Wi-Fi non funzionante. Spazio ridotto per far asciugare costumi e asciugamani all’aperto . Scale molto ripide all’ingresso , ma dovute alla predisposizione del paese.

Schöner Aufenthalt in Corniglia :)

Sehr schönes Appartement mit super Aussicht auf das Meer und die Weinberge. Self Check in war sehr einfach. Wir bekamen sogar ein Video mit der Wegbeschreibung zur Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen, da man gleich auf den Wanderwegen in Richtung Vernazza bzw. Manarola ist. Der Bahnhof ist auch nicht weit entfernt, man muss nur ziemlich viele Stufen steigen oder man nimmt den Bus.

Die Ausstattung der Küche ist wirklich sehr minimalistisch. Für unsere Zwecke (Frühstück) hat es gereicht, für mehr wird es aber schon ein bisschen schwierig.
