We had to phone to get the keys and it did not sound as if the agent new of us coming (she had to check Bookings.Com first). Waited about 10 minutes for the keys.

My family enjoyed our stay and the beautiful views!

The house was fully equiped for big families. The place was neat and clean. The coffee machine, pods and rusks were a nice touch. We liked that enough towels were available for use. Everything was great. Access to the beach is awesome. We spotted a few seals from the house. The view is amazing!

The price of the stay was expensive for locals. There are other more modern accommodation (without asbestos roofing) with access to the beach in Langebaan for similar pricing. The beautiful views made up for it though.

A lovely family home in an incredible position, appointed with attention to detail. Loved our stay!

This is an exceptional property. The owner has gone to great effort to make sure the home is clean, comfortable and really well equipped for a lagoon side holiday. Beds are comfortable, with good quality linen and towels provided. The kitchen is supplied with everything a visitor could need for a home cooked meal. Loadshedding was covered by an inverter. The position is incredible. You can walk down some steps to swim in the clear lagoon on a private little beach. Check in and out was easy and welcoming - Benjamin is a star and helped out with a small problem we had with a huge smile on his face.

Great gettaway. Wish we could stay longer.

Amazing location and spectacular views from the whole lounge area and most bedrooms. Furniture was ample and comfy. Beds and bedding were great. Love the place.

The shower plumbing was abit clogged up so it would dam up quickly(very quick showers only). Showerheads also need replacing. I think it would solve some of the damming and use less water.

We had an absolute great stay in the beach house! The baskets with the beach towels was the BEST and so easy to just take with to the beach, GREAT idea. We do have a few ideas/suggestions that you might want to take into account to make the stay even better. Please do not take this as a bad review, we know sometimes there are things that you do not know of so we thought it worth mentioning:

- Outside room/flat bathroom: shower door is very difficult to open and perhaps more space to hang wet towels would be handy - Kitchen: better and more sharp (cutting) knives (this was quote a struggle - washing room: one drying rack and one broken one, especially for wet towels

The location was perfect. Loved the view of the ocean. The property is well kept and clean. The weather was bit cold but fireplace made us forget about the outside weather

stunning and super comfortable with more than enough space.

The villa is just amazing. We got greeted with a very friendly welcome already. and it got better from there. The views you have from the comfort of the couch or breakfast table are magical. We had such a great stay. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. The kids could play by the water and we could watch them from the house. I have nothing bad to say. it was beautiful.

Exceptional

The location was exceptional - the lagoon provided endless hours of entertainment (swimming, watching boats and people enjoying water sports). The house was spotlessly clean and easily accommodated our group of 8 adults. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The entertainment area with those views meant we never really wanted to leave the house!

The R3,000 breakage deposit was a surprise. I feel it is hidden in the house rules and should be stated in the payment section of booking.com.

Lagoon Escape Beach Villa is a very special and lovely property and highly recommended

The lagoon view that stretches almost 180 degrees is very special at this lovely property. We were a family of 7 adults who enjoyed the fact that 8 adults could comfortably sleep in 4 double rooms (3 with ensuite bath rooms), with seating and cutlery in the house also catering for such a large group. There were two extra bedrooms with two single bunk beds in each which we did not use but will be ideal for larger families with small children. The home is luxuriously equipped with a dish washer, a Nespresso coffee machine, a bluetooth-enabled sound bar and TV with DSTV channels, to name a few. There are also more than enough fridge and freezer space. Access to a small private beach area is very special. We found the complimentary rusks and Nespresso coffee pods on arrival a special touch.

i would not recommend this property for R40k (R5600.00)that i paid,this place is worth R2000.00 P/D

braai is old and falling apart,could not clean it there was no hose.counter tops are old wooden ones. outdoor furniture also very old,could not use them. security also big factor i had to clean the sheets in the flat because they were very dusty,i had allergies. i also had to clean the stove before i could use it.there was old food stuck on the grill... Benjamin(the host)came to chuck me out,we argued,turns out he came to the wrong house..upset my guests very much.
