Nice building in the heart of Sea Point. Modern and clean apartment, tastefully furnished. Quick walk to the beachfront.

No air conditioning. There was a fan but it definitely could have been cooler. Outside the building are some dubious characters - it is a little disconcerting to navigate, especially when it’s dark.

Small comfortable room for a decent price.

Excellent location. Clean and modern. Kitchen is equipped. Shower bed and couch were good. Tv was big and new and good.

No aircon. Extremely small room. Does not look like it did in pictures on website and Booking.com. No pool. No breakfast or communal area. Lamps next to my bed didn’t work. Safe didn’t work. One night the people in the next room were making a noise and drinking and playing music but security did handle it and they stopped. I wouldn’t call The Sage luxury. It is a decent place to stay for a decent price.

It’s the worst place I’ve ever booked in. Place had poor ventilation with no aircon. Imagine paying R8000 for a place without an aircon in a coastal city during summer.

There is no air-conditioning, that small Aircon was not good at all in this heat. We were sweating even at night. We didn't get room service on Thursday and nothing was reported. We were told you out of soap on Friday we had to buy it from Nearest Shop.

I had to ask for hair drier and clothes hanger few times before it was added to the room. There is little space for improvement for cleanliness - stains on furniture door, upper windows left dirty.

Holding such large amounts of money as a deposit creates unnecessary strain, especially for local guests who are already aware of our economic challenges. Unfortunately, this affected my overall experience in Cape Town, as the held funds limited my ability to fully enjoy my stay. I believe this policy should be reconsidered or applied more reasonably—perhaps focused more on international guests.

The fridge was so noisy that I had to switch it off at the db, but then I didn't have any tv. There are so many pillows that you can either use the bed or the couch, as the pillows must be relocated to make space for humans. There was a Nespresso machine, but no Nespresso coffee pods. I wanted an early shower -but only got warm water after running the shower three times for about 5 mins each time.

Es ist nicht wirklich Luxury, die Cleaning Lady war genau einmal da in 1 Woche. Und hat die Bettlaken nicht gewechselt. Alles ist sehr Standard. Es gibt keine elektrischen Fensterheber, nur Vorhänge. Es war sehr heiss in meinem Zimmer, keine Klimaanlage. Das Badezimmer und die Küche ist auch sehr basic. Luxury ist das wirklich nicht. Die Matratze sehr durchgelegen.

Es ist eine Kaution von 1000R zu entrichten, die allerdings nur zurück gezahlt wird per banküberweisung und Vorlage von einer Bankauskunft. Es hat mich 15 Mails gekostet, die rückabwicklung dieser 53€ zu veranlassen und musste noch 12.50€ Auslandsüberweisungs Gebühr an meine Bank zahlen! Umständliche Abzocke!
