I would highly recommend a stay at the Sage! The staf are friendly (which makes you feel right at home) , the apartment is extremely clean and the location is quite central (you won’t even need a car to get around)

Fell short of "luxury;" not a great place if you need strong AC!!

Great view from the balcony! Look left and see the ocean, look right and see the mountains. Overall quite spacious.

While I was really hoping to love this place, I found myself quite disappointed. It is marketed as a “luxury” apartment, but it very much felt like just enough to make it seem nice to cover up all of the issues. Perhaps the biggest issue was the AC situation. There is no central air nor a wall AC unit. They have mitigated with a portable AC, but the hose goes into a giant water bottle on the floor, and the back vent has no where to go, so while it cools, it simultaneously shoots out hot air and defeats the whole purpose; I was never able to actually get the apartment cool. Plus, it is incredibly loud and not great for sleeping. This was a major disappointment (and thats coming from someone who really does not mind the heat). Further, all of the little details that differentiate an decent place from a luxury place were missing—no washcloths, dysfunctional bedroom lamps, no towel racks or hooks, comforter too small for the bed, no tissues aside from toilet paper, and no way to change the code of the safe. Finally, the management company (Propr) was a bit disappointing. When I checked in, they failed to set me up with the outside door security system, so the security guard had to help me when I came back late that night. Also, I stayed 2 nights, and halfway through my stay they asked if they could come into my apartment to “perform maintenance tasks.” I had not raised any issues, so I was confused what kind of work they needed to do—and why it wasn’t done before I got there. I said no as I was already out for the day, and they gave me hardly any notice to prep my room for mysterious (and potentially messy/dusty) maintenance work. This just confirmed to me that this unit is not guest-ready. They still have work to do before they advertise this as a “luxury” unit for guests.

Absolutely no aircon and no ventilation in room as once open windows, because of main road so noisy. Initially didn't have a fan but they made a plan the next day
