Bokkombaai

There is no better location in the Cape Town area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable, cosy with the best view of Table Mountain. Everything we needed was there. Perfect spot to take long walks from.

Theres nothing to change about this place. Everything's perfect.

Location, layout, facilities

The location was extremely good. A wonderful house right on the beach, overlooking the most famous Tafelberg. We lived in High Tide. Extremely high quality aluminium frames with double glazed windows that can slide open widely, with security mesh to close allowing the fresh sea breeze in. Good security. Loved to be able to park our car in a garage. High quality fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, cooker top, as well as a combi oven/microwave. TV with all DSTV channels and Netflix. The showers are wonderful. Two bedrooms en-suite. Mr Delivery delivers food to the door with a choice from 140 restaurants! A kilometres long pathway right next to the ocean, that is safe and easy to walk on.

The beds were really uncomfortable (sponge mattresses and not high quality spring mattresses). We struggled to rest well and actually considered booking in somewhere else (but already paid and couldn't change the booking without losing the money). The one bathroom had a very-very bad smell from the drain. The same bad smell was in the kitchen, assuming the washing machine drains into the same pipes as the bathroom. It improved a little bit when the shower was used, but the smell returned after about an hour. If these two things are changed, this place will be top-notch!
