Great Location😎

Location was absolutely fabulous as was the ground floor layout. Very Lovely flat. Cleaner was a nice lady who helped reunite my friend with her important medication bag! Thanks so much. Great contact from owner. Would stay again!

As there was 3 of us, it would of been nice for 3 towels instead of 2. I found the beds too hard, but that may be personal preference Overall, very happy with this stay.

Sorry this is long, but we were really disappointed. It could be such a lovely place, it just needs some TLC. Bathroom: has bad black mould on the large shower head, sealant around the bath is mouldy & needs replacing. Only 2 towels (1 bath, 1 hand towel) for a property that sleeps 4-5. Listing needs to say no towels provided, or provide sufficient amount. I had to purchase drain unblocker for the bath as it was taking forever to drain away. Kids' Bedroom: There is significant damp on the wall that adjoins the bathroom, which I believe is due to poor sealant around the bath. The paint is peeling off the skirting boards, and the room has a musty and damp smell. The bunk beds are very rickety, the mattresses need replacing, and the duvet and pillows are stained. While the covers were clean, they still smelled musty and damp. My children are autistic and struggle with smells and sensory issues; they were unable to sleep in this room and had to sleep with me instead. Fortunately, I had family nearby who could lend me a camp bed, but that was not the point! Additionally, there is no storage for clothes in the children's room. Lounge: Beading on the floor is coming away by each door. The orange footstall is stained, as is the pelt / fake fur rug. The stools for the tables all need tightening up as some very wobbly. The curtain rail to the left of the doors onto the patio is coming away from the wall. The doors to the patio are sticking alot, they need adjusting. Kitchen: The washer / Dryer didn't work, even though we had turned on the power switch on the wall. One of the reasons I booked this place was so that we could wash and dry our clothes, thankfully family were able to help but it was an unnecessary inconvenience. There was no dishwasher listed on the listing, however there was one in the kitchen BUT it was full of stagnant water. The hoover was full of someone elses dirt and didn't work well. Outside: Chairs rotten, 1 broken.

Lovely weekend getaway

Great location, short walk to town and the beach is just across the road. Fairly well equipped kitchen and beds are comfortable. The apartment made for a great base rather than a place to lounge for the weekend.

Needed tea towels and a bath mat! The bunk bed is comfy but a tad noisy! Could probably do with new pillows!

A comfortable stay in a great seaside location — just a few small improvements away from being perfe

The location was excellent — right across the street from the beach, which made it super convenient for walks and enjoying the sea view. Parking was available and easy to access. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking, which was a big plus. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a good experience.

A few small improvements could make the stay even better. There weren’t quite enough towels provided, which would have been appreciated. Some of the benches were a bit wobbly, and the skirting boards were coming off in several corners, giving a slightly worn look to the place.

The car parking right outside the door was great. The location was excellent. The double bedroom was very good. The decor was good. It was very clean.

Only 2 towels for 3 people (we were told on the day) was insufficient. Thankfully we had already read the reviews otherwise that would have been very difficult. A hand towel would have been appreciated. We could have done with hooks on the backs of the doors for towels/coats. There was no teatowel and maybe a dishwasher tablet or two would have helped. This is a flat that is basically equipped - no extras. The TV wouldn't connect on the second evening.

We were sad to leave and are already discussing our next stay!

The first thing that struck us was how incredibly clean the apartment was. Dr Raza and his daughter were the friendliest and most accomodating people you could meet and nothing was too much trouble.

Our only issue was that it took forever to run a bath as the water was not hot, even when we had it on a slow run. All other taps and shower were just fine.

Smell of damp in kids room also signs of water damage on floor carpet also skirting boards are rotting from water damage coming from the shower wall opposite, bathroom was mouldy and had brown stains in the shower…, front door handle was loose looked like it was going to fall off, kitchen floor hadn’t been cleaned as it had bits of food crumbs and hairs on the floor.

Gem of a property

Fabulous accommodation in a perfect location for beach and walking distance from shops etc.. facilities available (but not used) included dishwasher and washing machine.

Kitchen utensils not up to expected standard. Non stick pans scratched, frying pan too small. Only one teaspoon. This may not be within immediate control of owner, but perhaps an itinerary for maintenance staff to check may help?

The bathroom was very dirty

It is very close to a lovely beach and property is quiet.

The bathroom walls around the shower was very dirty, we could see it hadn't been cleaned in months, it made us very uncomfortable. There was mould around the main shower head. It created a dirty bathroom smell throughout the property. We communicated this to the host but nothing was done about it.

Lovely location. Definitely wasn’t luxury accommodation.

The location was great, with the beach across the road from the end of the street. It was nice to have a seating area outside with a glimpse of the sea. The main living area was attractive. The owner was friendly and accessible and his daughter was quick to provide batteries for the tv remote when we thought they might need changing.

It hadn’t been cleaned. There was sand throughout and clearly the rubber bath mat hadn’t been moved for a while. There were cigarette butts in an outdoor planter box and one of the outside chairs was broken. The children’s bunk room was musty and the state of the skirting boards in the room suggested there had been flooding and the damage hadn’t been dealt with. It would have been nicer for our daughter if the bedding was more neutral rather than clearly designed for children. It was hard to get the TV to work. There was signage saying that if we wanted to be rated as good visitors we would leave the place as we found it, including washing all the dishes and putting them away afterwards. We tried to oblige with the dishes but the dishwasher started leaking bubbles within a few minutes after being turned on so we had to put multiple towels on the floor to soak up the water. We called the owner, who answered his phone quickly but it seemed the only way to stop the problem was to switch it off at the wall, along with another switch.

An ideal beach stay for a family trip.

The property is very close to the beach and if it's sunny kids can easily enjoy playing by the beach. Location is excellent as you can reach most of the sightseeing spots within 20 minutes drive. For a family of 4 it would make an ideal stay. Host was friendly and approachable.

The toilet might need a shower curtain as all the water pour out and it's slippery most of the time, some new kitchen vessels/utensils would be good for self catering.

Lovely property in a fantastic location.

The location is fantastic, can't fault it and very good value. We would have a day out with the kids and come back for a beach walk collecting shells every afternoon, it was delightful even in the rain. The apartment is very nice but could do with a little freshen up. Its a really nice quiet place to stay, I dont recall hearing the neighbours or having any issues with doors slamming throughout the night etc. Really good parking away from the road. All the things I list in what I didn't like would not stop me staying here again, I would just prepare things differently.

Theres literally no Internet data signal inside the apartment, which is fine if you want a break from the outside world but as a parent with 2 young children not having my phone to search for places to eat and things to do was a bit of a nuisance. My phone could receive signal outside, which is fine if its sunny and warm but it was rainy and cold the time we stayed which meant using it for very quick searches. I think the property really should have WiFi available if signal is as bad as it is. The shower is a bit temperamental its an excellent pressure but constantly fluctuates between warm and cold. There's also quite a lot of mould in the sealant of the bath which could do with being sorted out. The TV was also annoyingly difficult to get working, most the time it just played audio with no visual, we brought a dvd player and films because we read reviews about the TV being iffy. None of these things would stop me staying again, but I state them so future visitors can prepare themselves accordingly.

Enjoyable stay

Was modern, spacious and comfortable in a great position.

Only had 2 towels between 4. Drawers broken in main room and bunk beds very creeky. No hairdryer as stated. Was there a bed settee like advertised? We had one less person than I booked so if they had come would be no where to sleep

Brilliant place to rest for the night

Beautifully furnished, very modern, right on the seafront, friendly owner, amazing price for a family of four.

No wardrobe but there was a stand to hang things on. A few bits looking tired - bath panel breaking down at the bottom, a few small holes in the plasterwork in the bedroom, patio door key wouldn’t remove when locked. None of these things spoiled our stay though.

Living room was lovely. Also great location. Instructions to the apartment were good.

The bunk beds were not suitable for adults- one of us ended sleeping on the mattress on the floor. Also, we did not have dishwashing liquid and a 2nd trash bag as we stayed 2 nights.

the owner was really helpful, there was parking, the accommodation was lovely, spacious & clean. The main double bed was really comfortable. the atmosphere was also relaxed, welcoming & warm. the heating was brilliant too. I would definitely stay again.

The shower wasn’t great, I like a hot shower but it wasn’t awful! the furniture in the main bedroom in particular, the chest of drawers was broken which if I was staying longer would have been a big problem. My son reported the bunk beds were very squeaky.
