A lovely flat, with amazing views in a great location with a short walk to the shops and food outlets.
It was an added bonus to have parking (even if tight) and it is very close to the parkrun, I attended.
The apartment appeared to be clean enough but as dogs are allowed, I am NOT a dog lover. I noticed dog hairs on my black fluffy socks and clothes, which isn’t cool and a nightmare to remove (clothes weren’t old, to simply throw away), this means cleaning is sloppy. As the apartment is a conversion, I could hear the guests upstairs but it was only one night, so I didn’t let that issue bother me

Great view of the beach. Fully equipped with everything. Good value
Only downside is that the flat above does create some noise from moving around, but that’s to be expected.

Positives are, the sofa was comfy, bed was comfy, good area, nice views of the bay, nearby shops which is Convenient, the apartment smelled clean on arrival
on arrival we tried to put the TV on which appeared to be faulty, ( there is only one TV in the property) we messaged the owner to let them know and they did apologise however offered no alternative or option on what to do, I asked if anyone could pop round to take a look which was declined, I know a TV isn't essential however we like to watch TV and have background noise, after moving a few wires the TV came back on and I let the owner know so they can get it repaired. So onto the condition of the property, the kitchen appeared clean, good size however when about to put our shopping away noticed that cupboards were filled with all sorts, bulbs, saws, maintenance items, there was a filthy scourer on the draining board, onto the living room, sofa was comfy, rug definitely needs to be cleaned, lots of breakages in the windowsill, TV faulty, main light didn't work, onto the bedroom, bed was lovely, very comfy, stool for the dresser is about to fall apart, I darent of sat on there, bathroom, although this looks great there are some issues, the steps are extremely slippery when wet, no handrail to get up and down the steps, the rubber on the bottom step is coming off and the dirt in the back of the steps is not good, rust on the shower screen fixings, mildew on taps, and mould marks round the bath, also something stuck to the bottom of the bath, It didn't feel clean, also we were only supplied one towel for 2 people,
Sleep was poor, we got woke up at 6am by the neighbours upstairs, they had a dog and the noise on the ceiling was extreme,
However I do feel it's understandable regarding the neighbours as your directly below them, bins overflowing outside so no where to put your rubbish
I've wanted to stay here for years and it just feels a shame, I personally wouldnt come back or book with the same company
