We stayed at Rob’s accommodation for 2 nights recently on the way to the north of UK. Location 10/10. Response from host 10/10. Car parking was not a problem, could leave car outside overnight and move it by 9.30 am. Check in 10/10. Wifi and TV 10/10. But the rest……… was not what we paid good money for. We have stayed at over 50 properties over the years. We are 2 seniors who appreciate all kinds of properties from 3 to 6 stars, as long as they are clean. We give honest feedback to our hosts in an honest and polite and positive manner but this approach did not seem to go down too well with our host. We have never given negative feedback but……. there is always a first. Rob insisted his property was spotless when we brought a few items to his attention, especially the filth in some areas and the run down state of the property. He explained that his reviews stated that the property was spotless. This is not the case. He even sarcastically asked if we had entered the right place!! Said this property may not be our fit. We fit in to all types of properties that are clean when they say they are clean and deliver what is promised. At all times in our communications we were polite, but Rob insisted we were wrong in our view. We have no reason to lie, but he made us feel we were making up untrue statements. We now wish to warn other guests if they are expecting a spotless home, this may not be the home for them. We have many photos showing filthy and rusty pots and pans, sickening filth and baked on food in oven, cobwebs, spiders, crumbs behind appliances, smelly threadbare sheets and lumpy pillows, thin towels, bed too noisy to sleep on (we did not sleep both nights), damp musty smell, extremely noisy neighbours above using washing machine late at night, food stuck to back of a spoon from another guest that I put in my mouth and nearly vomiting (clearly not checked by his professional cleaners).

Lovely family break away with fabulous accommodation

Very well positioned for beach, shops, cafes and days out including zoo. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped.

Only thing was a shortage of toilet roll for 7 guests. We had to go out and buy some.

We were very mindful that the building is shared and made sure we were quiet so we didn't disturb other residents, unfortunately the upstairs neighbours didn't reciprocate 😢

Spacious appartment, big kitchen with loads of utilities, homely, nicely decorated, generously stocked with toilet rolls, towels, cloths etc. The accommodation is walking distance to promenade, supermarkets an restaurants.

The television or radio from one of the neighbours from 5am was to loud. Could almost hear the whole news.

Beautiful seaside village and excellent apartment.

The apartment is located in a quiet street just 2 minutes walk from the promenade and beach. A really great location for access to all local amenities and just a short drive into Llandudno. It had everything we needed and was really spacious - 3 big bedrooms, kitchen,bathroom and lounge/ dining room. Nice and quiet with free street parking which was perfect for getting bags in and out as well as the kids. Really communicative and helpful hosts with a visitor book to assist as well as information provided pre-arrival. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Beautiful week spent by the sea, lovely walks to Colwyn Bay daily

Beach was a one minute walk, spar and co op just round the corner

Noise from upstairs early in the morning could hear t.v clearly and beds were not the best but comfortable enough for the stay.

Lovely location, close to the beach. Front room/dining area was perfect for sit down meals together and a fully equipped kitchen was very helpful especially with younger children.

The beds in the third bedroom were not comfortable. The double was bowing in the middle supported by bricks, and the single opposite was extremely uncomfortable such a vast difference to the other two bedrooms. Luckily there was another room so my partner slept in the spare single bed.
