The appartment was lovely and in an excellent location for everything. The children were so made up to be so near the beach

The only thing we did'nt like was the rain at times but that was nobody's fault 😅so we just made the most of it

We stayed at Rob’s accommodation for 2 nights recently on the way to the north of UK. Location 10/10. Response from host 10/10. Car parking was not a problem, could leave car outside overnight and move it by 9.30 am. Check in 10/10. Wifi and TV 10/10. But the rest……… was not what we paid good money for. We have stayed at over 50 properties over the years. We are 2 seniors who appreciate all kinds of properties from 3 to 6 stars, as long as they are clean. We give honest feedback to our hosts in an honest and polite and positive manner but this approach did not seem to go down too well with our host. We have never given negative feedback but……. there is always a first. Rob insisted his property was spotless when we brought a few items to his attention, especially the filth in some areas and the run down state of the property. He explained that his reviews stated that the property was spotless. This is not the case. He even sarcastically asked if we had entered the right place!! Said this property may not be our fit. We fit in to all types of properties that are clean when they say they are clean and deliver what is promised. At all times in our communications we were polite, but Rob insisted we were wrong in our view. We have no reason to lie, but he made us feel we were making up untrue statements. We now wish to warn other guests if they are expecting a spotless home, this may not be the home for them. We have many photos showing filthy and rusty pots and pans, sickening filth and baked on food in oven, cobwebs, spiders, crumbs behind appliances, smelly threadbare sheets and lumpy pillows, thin towels, bed too noisy to sleep on (we did not sleep both nights), damp musty smell, extremely noisy neighbours above using washing machine late at night, food stuck to back of a spoon from another guest that I put in my mouth and nearly vomiting (clearly not checked by his professional cleaners).

Very well positioned for beach, shops, cafes and days out including zoo. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped.

Only thing was a shortage of toilet roll for 7 guests. We had to go out and buy some.

Great location. The apartment had everything we needed.

Some of the mattresses were a little bit uncomfortable

The location, it was clean, helpful when I asked a question, large property for the three of us (two adults and a two year old)
