One of the best properties, very luxurious

Stunning property, gorgeous views, convenient location, warm and friendly staff, food at breakfast and Cattani restaurant was excellent. Spa pool was much larger that expected, lovely and warm, lots of loungers, stunning views

We were especially pleased that this hotel is absolutely comfortable for traveling with a baby under one year old — upon request, everything a little traveler might need can be provided, even items not listed on. The rooms are new and well maintained, equipped with modern Dyson appliances, and the spa is spacious and impressive. Everything was wonderful. Our sincere thanks to everyone.

The only small suggestion would be to consider slightly larger water bottles, but this is truly a very minor detail and did not take away from our wonderful experience at all.

A month later, still sad to have left that rooftop spa and view

The roof top spa and view were outstanding. We loved the town, the walk to the gondolas up Mt Titlis, and the breakfasts (included) were amazing.

Good quality hotel.

We loved that the hotel is brand new. Everything felt very modern, beautifully designed, and luxurious. The rooms are tastefully decorated with wooden elements, creating a cozy and elegant atmosphere. I felt at home because the style is similar to my own apartment. We appreciated all the thoughtful details as it should be in 5 star property: high quality toiletries, slippers, bathrobes, and plenty of storage space. The room was spacious, with large wardrobes and shelves to keep everything organized. The hotel design is impressive, with grand hallways, beautiful staircases, and elegant interiors. The staff were professional, kind, and attentive. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and an excellent breakfast. The restaurant prices for food and drinks were very fair for a five star hotel, and the quality was outstanding. Overall, everything was perfect. The soft linens and all the small details made our stay very pleasant. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel.

The only thing we did not really like was the layout of the spa area. It felt strange that the saunas are separated from the pool and that you have to walk through the reception area to get from one to the other. If you are wet, it feels uncomfortable and impractical. A lot of space is used for the relaxation rooms and treatment rooms instead of making the saunas larger. Even though we visited during the off season, there were already quite a few people, so I cannot imagine how it would be when the hotel is full. The spa itself looks beautiful, with high quality materials and a stylish design, but the layout is not very well planned. The saunas are really quite small for such a large hotel. Also, the pool water felt quite cold. I could sit comfortably in the jacuzzi, but in the main pool I was freezing. I would still come back for a spa weekend, but only outside the busy season, because I think during peak times it would be too crowded. Overall, the spa did not completely impress me.

A wonderful stay with excellent service, great facilities, and a perfect location.

Loved the design; the staff are very sweet and helpful; Aurora at the reception was so nice and accommodating. The facilities are new and very clean, the spa area is simply amazing, and the location is incredible. I’m very happy with my stay and will definitely come back.

The food at the restaurant was served a little cold, but other than that, everything was perfect.

Perfect property to just stay in, enjoying majestic views

Property has stunning views from the balcony and is located in a prime spot of engelberg. Facilities at the property are top notch Breakfast spread was impressive with lot of vegetarian options.

Our room door was open when we returned to our room after an outing. This was a serious security lapse from the service team for which the hotel had no valid justification. They apologized and offered us a bottle of hand lotion as a token of apology.

Almost perfect.

Our second stay. Perfect location and facility. Wonderful spacious rooms and staff.

Only one thing did not match the very high standard of services we received . We had dinner twice at the hotel restaurant. The first night was ok. The second night was not good at all. The waiters were nice but very inefficient. We have to go and get the waiter any time we need something. We waited almost 2 hours for the main course. This time we ordered from the middle eastern menu. When the food arrived, it was not middle eastern at all. The shish taouk was more like small Japanese Yakitori. The Hummus was like the Hummus you may find at a small Falafel stand.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Engelberg

Just amazing from start to finish! Great amenities, super nice and friendly staff, greaaat rooms and super nice facilities. It’s just one of the nicest stays we had in Switzerland.

I would expect the parking to be complementary for hotel guests which wasn’t the case. I understand if the visitors have to pay but as a hotel guest it should not be charged to your room.

Beautiful hotel with stunning Mountain View’s

Belle Epoque room was good size, great views, proximity to train station ideal. Dyson hair dryer. Bath and shower. All bathroom extras good quality. Mini bar provided, water available. Hotel and rooms very clean. Spa and sauna lovely with great views! Breakfast has lots of choice. Bar had good drinks menu.

Dinner in main menu and chalet both fine but not amazing. Room service snacks good but main meal was again average.

- incredible staff - beautiful lobby - delicious breakfast - spacious room - was given an upgrade which is always appreciated - excellent balcony with breathtaking views - close to titlis - valet service is great

-I was in a dream while staying there an incredible hotel with everything to my liking until it was time to sleep I was shocked that the bed was damaged and tilted to one side that it was impossible to sleep on it , at that time I was already very tired at the end of the day so I had to manage somehow not to mention those twin beds in such a room are very small and don’t match with the luxury setting of such high standards hotel - I was surprised when I ordered club sandwich that the chicken in the sandwich wasn’t a chicken breast a mistake that usually doesn’t happen
