About this apartment rental

Our apartment in the city center is very bright and quiet. For you, for your children and friends, there are 3 beautiful and comfortable single, double or twin rooms according to your needs and 1 living room with many windows and plants on a small quiet square near the Old Port. Boat excursions to Portofino and 5 Terre, visits to the Aquarium, the historic center, the historic buildings and museums, the sea and the hills. Very close central railway station. A stone's throw from the airport, maritime station, bus, taxi, metro and highway exit. WIFI. We can accompany guests to public or private parking

Was greeted by our lovely host who was very helpful. We originally booked for 3 nights, then I added another night. The day before our checkout, our flight was rebooked due to a hurricane in the US. I messaged our host and she graciously let us stay another night. We enjoyed our stay. Apt. is close to the train station, ATM machine and plenty of restaurants, pizzeria's, cafés and bakeries. Apt. accommodated my family of 5 nicely. Apt. is very spacious. The only downfall is the stairs, 4 sets of stairs, each with a landing. Not recommended for people with mobility issues.

A beautiful apartment at a good price. Very nice and helpful hosts. The host was always available and helped immediately. In the apartment we felt very quickly at home. I would come back again and again.

property was advertised as 3 double bedrooms and photos showed 2 doubles and a twin. When we arrived we had to ask for the third bedroom as we weren't shown it. We had to wait for the room to be made up but it was only a single. The location was excellent as was communication. Plenty of restaurants nearby and transport. There is a supermarket about 10mins walk away. The apartment is old and could do with minor improvements. There are fans in the bedrooms but not in the living areas so it was very hot.There are quite a few stairs which wasn't a problem for us but perhaps for others. The kitchen is very small if you wish to cook, only one person can cook at a time and its only really suitable for 3 people to eat together. We were 4 adults for 4 nights which was adequate but I would think it would not be suitable for any more. We were there midweek and there was no night time noise. Lots of windows so it was light and bright.

Our stay in Genoa was made all the better because of this lovely apartment, and the kind and very responsive hosts. Not only were we met at the bus station and walked to the apartment, the host sat down with us and explained everything we needed for our stay in and exploration of Genoa. I can't recommend this apartment highly enough. We will return, if possible. The hosts are so very kind; the apartment feels like home and is spacious, clean, light and has everything you need; and Genoa is a gem.

The advert is misleading NO PARKING is available only paid parking, Spent 5 hours trying to contact owner on the date of our arrival we understood check in was later in the day but just needed some help & advice if anywhere possible to leave our luggage.Spoke to owner who asked us to text our request then nothing in reply for 5 hours very frustrating we would have tried to find an alternative solution with the luggage had she replied.Just left sat waiting.The accomodation is very basic the single beds are basically camping beds.The apartment was clean but towels and linens old and worn. The owner left out a book asking us to fill in very personal information the book contained other previous guests personal details we feel this is a breach of confidentiality.This property is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems or young children quite a hike up 4 flights of stairs with no door or safety gate at the top

We enjoyed every day at genova in this wonderful accomodation. We lived there with 7 persons. It was enough space for all to sleep. The kitchen/dining room was a bit small to eat all together, but we managed it. The train station is 3 minutes apart and so a very good starting point for all trips. The arrival with our car was a bit difficult, because there are very few parking places. We recommend garage ponte dei mille at the port. If we would travel again to genova, we would take again this flat.

Great location

A few problems early on but quickly resolved by very helpful owners. Apartment was easy to find, near the main train station, which was a really convenient location for our holiday as we could walk to the dock area and city centre easily. The apartment had everything we needed as we cooked at home most evenings. Really enjoyed our stay in Genova, liked the city and it was easy to get to the Cinque Terre by train. Last day it rained so we went to the aquarium - expensive but wonderful. Had a great time and the apartment was a wonderful base for us.

We had a wonderful short vacation with my children and my parents. The location is perfect, very central and easy to reach from the station. The owners are great and very attentive. We had an issue with the hot water and they had it fixed really fast. The apartment is perfect for 5 to 7 people and it is very quite. We had a wonderful time visiting Genova!

We had a great stay at this apartment. We were with 7 adults, most of us working at the slow fish festival, at porto antigo. The location was great, the beds were good. We hope to use the apartment again during Slow Fish 2017. One of the guests will use the apartment this summer for a touristic visit to Genova.

Appartamento molto carino e pulito, situato in una zona strategica (a letteralmente due passi dalla stazione Principe e quindi collegato a tutto). La casa è raggiungibile in due modi: una stradina in salita oppure una breve rampa di scalini, unica pecca per disabili. L' appartamento in se è spazioso e luminoso, composto da due piani collegati da una stretta rampa di scale, ma non è un peso. Nonostante noi fossimo in 6 non ci siamo mai sentiti stretti, anzi il contrario: i soffitti alti rendono l' ambiente molto spazioso. La cucina non è delle più moderne, ma svolge senza intoppi il suo lavoro quindi non ci si può certo lamentare. Molto comodi i letti e ben organizzate le camere (purtroppo non essendo una casa modernissima non sono presenti molte prese elettriche, ma con una presa multipla il "problema" è risolto). Infine va sottolineata la gentilezza, la cordialità e la disponibilità della proprietaria, sempre disponibile per qualsiasi tipo di esigenza (consigli sulla città o qualsiasi tipo di servizio per l' appartamento, come cambio asciugamani ecc.)

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine. Appartement un peu vieillissant mais l équipement et l emplacement le fait oublié. Nous avons visité toute la ville à pieds avec deux enfants. Propriétaires sympathiques, ils ont pris le temps de nous expliquer les choses à visiter et nous emmener à un parking gratuit. Une adresse à retenir.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Onorina et son mari. L'appartement est suffisamment grand pour une famille avec deux enfants. Il est idéalement situé ce qui nous a permis de faire la visite de la vieille ville et de port à pied. Nous recommandons le logement et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

We spent two great (and hot) summer weeks in this lovely apartment with our children (10 and 13 years old). We saw quite a lot of the Ligurian coast and very much appreciated the close proximity to the railway station. But even staying at home was a pleasure, in this roomy, well equipped and nicely furnished apartment. And biggest thanks to the landlady! Her warm welcome was as helpful as her hints and addresses; and it was good to know she was available for all questions or problems. We can only recommend this apartment as a base for exploring Genova and the Ligurian coast, both definately worth a visit!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Gênes. La localisation du logement est parfaite, nous pouvons aller à pied au centre de la ville. Plusieurs restaurants à proximité, pharmacie, boulangerie... On peut aussi trouver un parking facilement à côté. Et en plus, la propriétaire de l'appartement est très gentille et flexible par rapport à l’heure d’arrivée et de départ.
