Unpleasant, disappointing and overpriced.

Location was OK and easily reachable. The apartment was overall in decent condition and most of the furniture and equipment was new or in decent condition, but thats about it. The checkin process and the way to enter the apartment was quite easy.

The most disappointing thing was that the apartment was extremely warm and humid. We slept terrible and the apartment just felt dirty and unpleasant because of it. The apartment really lacks air-conditioning and a decent way to ventilate. There's only one small window on ground level floor and you cant leave it unattended as there's quite some sketchy people passing by on the regular. Some of the fans were broken and we had issues with the large fans above the bed. They gave us new fans on the last day, but they gave them unassembled in a box (great service..) and forgot to leave a screwdriver so we couldn't assemble it. Especially the back left bedroom was terrible and felt like it lacked oxygen. I slept in wooden cabins in the jungle with no facilities and they were a cool breeze compared to this apartment. Overall, it just not nice to stay inside the apartment for too long and it felt close to unhealthy at times. Regarding the equipment. Tv downstairs was missing and looking at the reviews this is already the case since march. They should adjust the pictures. The couch downstairs has a very weird kink in it and it squeaks very loud when somebody moves, so it is terrible to sleep on, especially with more than one person. Kitchen material is very limited given the fact that this apartment should be able to house 10 people (we were with 8). They forgot to make one of the sleeping couches too. The neighborhood isn't really happy with the presence of the apartments there. One of the neighbors screamed and nearly attacked us regarding noise complaint, but we just arrived at the apartment. After explaining this he cooled down, but this wasn't a nice experience. The apartment was handled by checkmyguest. They didn't take our complaints seriously enough and the overall interaction was very impersonal. Their response time was also inconsistent. So overall not a good experience considering the price.

Basic supplies missing: no sponge, no kitchen towels, no dishwasher, musty basement room in need of dehumidifier. No tv downstairs though advertised
