Great location, tiny rooms

The location is absolutely excellent. There are several metro stations nearby, and the RER line to Disneyland is also easily accessible. The price was very competitive, especially considering we booked six months in advance.

All communication was handled by an AI system, which was often unhelpful and frustrating. The apartment is extremely small: limited shelving, and only two suitcases can be fully opened. The second bedroom has no window and is barely the size of a single bed. It’s quite noisy — you can hear neighbours coming and going, entering their access codes (the keypad beeps loudly), and doors slamming. One morning there was no hot water, so we had to take cold showers. Water also drains very slowly in the shower. I wrote to the owner and received no response. After sending a strong follow-up message explaining that I couldn’t wash my hair and was worried about water overflowing to the neighbours, the issue was finally fixed two days later. The property offered a room cleaning service; I agreed, but no one came. In the evening I asked why, and the AI replied that it costs €20. I wrote back firmly that cleaning is included in the rate. They admitted the mistake and cleaned the next day. They left an envelope asking me to pay the city tax in cash. I mentioned that this is not secure and requested a payment link. First they said they would send it, then claimed it wasn’t working and provided bank details instead — which is impossible to pay by card. I spent a lot of time messaging back and forth with no solution. Communication was polite but ineffective, which was quite irritating. The “kitchen” has only the most basic set of dishes. The bathroom is combined with the toilet, which is very inconvenient for a family of four. Overall: Despite all the inconveniences, the amazing location outweighs most of the issues, and the price was the lowest available at the time of booking. It’s manageable for a short stay, but communication and service definitely need improvement.

Grubby excellent spot in the middle of Paris, stay if you are not fussy!

We arrived and the code didn’t work. Luckily the neighbor next door helped and had a direct line to contact and reset the code. I wonder what would’ve happened if he wasn’t there by chance.

Pillows are not pillows but uncomfortable cushions. Bedding wasn’t clean, clearly found dry rice among the sheets which I am sure I did not consume as we did not cook! Mouldy bathroom and ceilings. Parts of hallway and entrance seem like they are to fall apart at any moment.

It was quite small (which we knew) not having air conditioning in a heat wave made it hard, especially seeing the bedroom window opened up to an area with all air conditioning units effectively being a heat tunnel and making that room unbearable.

Location very handy for Gare Saint Lazare. Secure with three different codes for the doors before entering the apartment. New(ish) bathroom, Nespresso coffee machine, safety deposit box, mini kitchenette. Excellent value for money.

Filthy pillows and duvets hidden under white cotton covers and pillowcases. Disgusting and should be replaced. Second double bed was up right against a dirty wall, so glad only staying for one night. Two hour delay in getting into the apartment (3pm pushed back to 5pm)due to cleaning schedule incurred extra expense at the Nanny Bag. Were compensated with one extra hour on day of check out.

Location was great.

It was like a furnace inside. There were weird fan type things in the ceiling but stopped working when the lights were switched off. Worst overnight experience ever, like a sauna. Was also very tiny space.

Stayed for 3 days and no cleaning came on any day.There were stains on the sheets. The room was stuffy. There was a smell of urine at the entrance to the apartment.

The apartment was nice and clean inside, Beds were comfy, nice shower, quiet at night to sleep.

The urine passing under the door of the entrance from the homeless people outside, leaving a terrible smell as you walk into the first two doors of the building. The lift and stairs area was filthy, unsafe carpet due to metal rods loose, so tripping was very likely. No bottle opener provided, tv didn't work-which we were told about before, so we did know this. No water for an hour on our second day. Kettle in kitchen area, had to be boiled on a shelf in the cupboard as the lead was very short and that was the only plug socket available which again is very unsafe.

Location is great but they do not care about cleanliness of accommodation. Sheets and towela were dirty. We asked them to give us the clean sheets but they ignored our request and asked us to change our sheets. Terrible experience.

A Parisian Gem - Comfortable, Convenient, and Charming Stay

We recently stayed at the Apartments WS Saint-Lazare - Opera for 4 nights and had a very good experience. The staff were exceptional, always ready to help and made us feel welcome. The facilities met all of our needs, providing a comfortable and clean environment throughout our stay. The apartment itself offered great comfort, and it truly felt like a home away from home. When it comes to value for money, it's hard to beat what this place offers, especially considering the fantastic location which made exploring Paris a breeze. As a couple traveling for leisure, we found this to be the perfect spot for our Parisian escape and would highly recommend it to other travelers looking for a reliable and enjoyable stay in the city.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; however, if we had to nitpick, we noticed that the noise insulation could be improved. Occasionally, we could hear the bustling city life and our neighbors at night. Also, it could be a little more cleaner.

Great location, close to transport & good apartment amenity

Great location inner city, especially for the price!! Apartment felt very secure with many doors and codes to get into. Sofa bed was generous and small teapoint had lots of amenity! Booked this last minute and appreciated the fast turn around with booking confirmation.

Beds were a little uncomfortable, and couldn’t get the shower head to stay fixed.

Not recommended at all

The apartment is very well located, and this is the only positive point I can find for the property.

It was very disappointing to find that the photos advertised at the time of booking (a few months before my trip) were very different from the apartment offered. Breakfast is only a home delivery (apartment) of an online order. I don't see the point of having 200gr of butter, a jar of jam and a large bottle of fruit juice every morning. In the end, we had to throw all this surplus food in the garbage can, which is a big waste. What's more, the quality of the baguettes and croissants delivered was very poor. As far as the cleaners are concerned, we asked to have the trash emptied and to have new towels after 2 nights. We received confirmation from the manager but the cleaner never showed up. Another point concerns the bathroom: the sink was leaking and the floor was all wet after taking a shower. Finally, as a family, we did not find the apartment comfortable.
