Fantastic property for a ski holiday

This is a fantastic property with a terrific location within Zermatt, close to the Zermatt-Furi gondola and an unbeatable view of the Matterhorn. The apartment was clean and warm, with comfortable beds and furniture, and with a fully functional kitchen.

The only downside to this property is that the door between the main section of the apartment and the enclosed sitting room requires swipe-card access to enter back into the apartment, and there is no warning on the door to let you know of this. Unfortunately we discovered this the hard way when we were 'locked out' of the apartment into this (non-insulated or heated) room within a few minutes of arriving; we closed the door behind us to keep the warm air in the rest of the apartment, and only then realised it had auto-locked behind us. A sticker or warning sign on the door to keep a keycard on you when you go into this room would have prevented this (and 90 minutes of trying to contact the owner to get back in).

An excellent place for family ski holidays!

Well designed and furnished apartment, modern and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to use. Location is good, 5 minutes walk from the cable car station to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. The apartment is large enough for 4 persons; highly recommended for family holidays.

Unresponsive rude staff, hard dormitory style bed

Nice view of Matterhorn

Unresponsive and rude staff. Claimed to never received my booking was left outside for almost an hour until Booking managed to contact owner. Hard dormitory style beds. Expect over 20 minute steep walk from station, you can get a bus slightly close to the property however you still need to walk up a steep incline making it unsuitable for those with mobility issues.

Would be a perfect stay if checkout was at 11am

What an amazing apartment! We had the studio and it was pretty much a one bedroom, was so clean, so spacious, and not too far from the train station. The view in the backyard was also amazing!Super close to the furi cable car. My only issue with the place was that checkout was at 9am, which is insanely early considering most hotels are 11 or 12 for checkout. They let us stay until 10am in the end, but I still thought that was too early considering the price.

The View of Matterhorn.

Too far from City. Very Very less connectivity of buses, electric car charge a bomb price of 50franks for one way drop. walk way is very very steep and difficult for anyone to walk down or up., no dishwasher or washer in the room. highly overcharged

The location was a little out of town and up a steep hill, requiring CHF 22.00 taxi ride each way. There was no microwave, paper towels or facial tissue.

Ski vacation February

The house is very comfortable, spacious, tastefully designed and equipped. The location is great for a ski vacation. Julia was really helpful and attended our needs very promptly. The view of Matterhorn from the balcony was an additional delight.

even though there is a ski storage room in the facility, I would suggest to rent out a locker down at the Matterhorn express station and store the skis&boots there since the apart is quite uphill and it gets tricky if the terrain is icy.

Great Matterhorn view from the balcony!

The location was great as it's a short walk (downhill) to the Matterhorn Gondola. You could also walk uphill and catch the red bus to go to town or walk downhill to catch the green bus. We rented our skis next to the lift so we didn't have to carry it around after skiing. The apartment was a nice size with a large kitchen/living room. The bonus was the Matterhorn view from the balcony! That's where we had our apre ski :)

Bedrooms and bathroom was small, but not a big deal. One review said to bring soap/shampoo..etc, so that's what we did.

the house is a bit far away from the supermarket, visitors should plan ahead in order to catch one of the busses passing by close to the apartment in order to get the groceries home - or take a cab.

Excellent ski chalet

The chalet was immaculate and clean and comfortable. With everything we needed . The host Julia was amazing and easy to contact and very helpful whenever we needed assistance. The bootroom was very handy for skis and boots, and not too far to walk to the ski lifts. Great showers and kitchen equipment. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

had a hard time figuring out the washer - but once we did we used it several times! we also used the bus quite a bit once we figured that out - it was a life saver!

fantastic host and wonderful stay

Lovely clean appartment, in a quiet area, with beautiful view of the matterhorn Both bedrooms have their own bathroom; and are not next to each other but have the livingroom in between. That was a nice setup. superb host who was constantly available through calls and messages she lives i think very close by. She welcomed us the next day after we had a late arrival ( keys were exactly on hidden location) A steep walk uphill to reach from cablecar on tarmac small road; yet 10/15 minutes walk from center zermatt.

We could hear the guests walking in the appartment above me, probably something that normally is not so bad but their kids were jumping arround and you can hear that.
