Absolutely gorgeous chalet with stunning views. Gives a very warm and cosy vibe, I felt very at home being here by myself for Christmas. Arrival was very easy by taxi and only a small hill from the road which was fine. Good walking distance 10 mins to town and 10 mins to the Matterhorn Cable cars. So perfect location in between both! Best Christmas ever, thank you for having me❤️🎄

Amazing view, fantastic kitchen and well preserved apartment considering its age. Plenty of space for us to relax including an indoor pool. They very thoughtfully provided a high chair without us asking.
Having to wait until 5pm to check-in is inconvenient when you're not skiing. My main issue though was the host forcing me to pay and provide details via a 3rd party platform, despite taking my credit card details in Booking.com. Given the number of online scams these days, constantly having to provide copies of my passport via emails and 3rd party platforms presents a risk as who knows how well these companies safeguard our information.

Very nice and charming chalet. Its the second time I was staying there with my family. The rooms are decorated in a very nice and specific style which I like - see the photos of the property. There is even a very nice indoor pool which me and my kids enjoyed a lot.

Stunning location! Excellent view of the Matterhorn and only short stroll into town for great eats and drinks. It was handy to have a well equipped kitchen. Also the pool area is excellent with quaint murals and raw stone.
Nothing to not like. However I do advise catch a cab or bus to the hotel because it’s quite a hike with luggage up hill. But easily walkable with luggage when you leave.

I love the view from our terrace. Matterhorn is so near from our balcony. The room is also cozy. I like that the room has a small kitchen.
The property is located on a hill and it was quite a climb whether coming in by e-taxi or taking the steps from our walk from the city center. Good thing the view is great and it compensates the climb.

Great location , lovely views , good to have kitchen , loved the basement pool ( behind the mirrored entrance)
Climb uphill to get there but worth it

Great views, spacious, somewhat dated in certain areas but high quality materials and well kept. Also two full size balconies with amazing Matterhorn views. And a nice swimming pool to add!
In some places the apartments needs a bit of work, but these are only minor things that do not really bother much. Also a smart tv would be nice to have. Pillows were way too soft and unsupportive.

Apartment was done to a good standard , apart from plumbing issues in one bathroom , all facilities were in working and good condition.
There is a big construction of a hotel or chalet ongoing only 10 yards from the property. Construction work started at 7:30 am for all the days we were there and carried on till 7:30 pm. It was very loud and noisy .Property did not mention this anywhere in the listing or in the communication to us and was not helpful in managing this when we complained .

Very nice and spacious property. The view was amazing! From both balconies we could see the Matterhorn.
We arrived at 3 o’clock instead of 5. The early access was denied, because we had booked through Booking.com. Had we booked directly with the property and not through booking.com, we could have entered the property early OR for a fee of $50
Each person had one towel and one hand towel for the entire stay. This included using the pool. When I asked for a second towel, I was told that the fee for one extra towel was about $25 per towel per person. I made it clear that I didn’t want to buy the towel. The answer was “You are in Switzerland “.
The Chalet is a hike up the hill. I was aware that the house had lots of stairs, but I was not made aware that there was a road construction which didn’t let the taxi get closer to the Chalet. Therefore, we had to drag the suitcases quite a way up the steep hill. This took away lots of the enjoyment.
I had to make the payment for the Apartment in Swiss francs directly to Zermatt Premium. The lady on the phone was very friendly, but the procedure was stressful.

The view was amazing, the accommodations were clean and comfortable, the pool was a great add!
The walk from the train station is long, and construction made it longer. There is an uphill climb that gets old but you sacrifice for the view.

We couldn’t get into Zermatt due to avalanche danger. We therefore had to get a couple of days accommodation elsewhere. We waited 2.5 days and finally the train opened up in the evening of the third day but we had to stay in our alternative accommodation or sleep in the car, as things were so unsure. We were only being told info on instagram, which kept saying stay away from Zermatt.
The owners didn’t care less and kept saying that we booked non-flexible accommodation. This was of course totally out of our control and they expected us to be just waiting, even though we had no indication of anything from the authorities.
Basically, they just wanted our money and didn’t care about our wellbeing. We stayed there on the last night and drove hours but they not understanding whatsoever and didn’t care. Just kept repeating about claiming on our insurance and the fact we hadn’t booked flexible dates.
The place was ok when we stayed there but their unhelpful stance just made things worse.
Poor form and clearly care only about money

The view can’t be beat! Perfect spot to see the Matterhorn.
It’s steep getting to the chalet with some stairs too. Don’t pack too heavy.
It’s time for the bathroom to be renovated, but the unit has everything you need.

Absolutely everything. From the moment we started the booking process Tanja reached out and helped us through the booking process. It was also lovely to meet her when she paid us a visit whilst there. I think it is always a positive to meet the host.
The chalet was clean and perfectly equipped. It was a true home from home. A nice sized bathroom, although we couldn't see the Matterhorn from our window there was still a lovely view. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was well equipped with all the things you would need to self cater.
It was about a 10 minute walk down to the middle of Zermatt and about 10 minutes to the cable car station so in a perfect location. We honestly could not of asked for a more magical location to spend our time in Zermatt and also celebrate the wife's birthday. Thank you for helping us make such fantastic memories. We will be sure to return.
There was absolutely nothing not to like. Yes there is a steep path up to the chalet but hey you are in the mountains. There are steep paths everywhere.
We would advise to get a taxi when you first arrive to get to the chalet. Then walk down to town once you are ready to explore. Once you have done it once it is an easy route to follow. Just turn right at the end of the path and head down the hill ( there is a path with steps on the first corner, use them and you will be halfway there).
To get to the cable car turn left at the end of the path and follow the road. You will soon see the cable car station. Again just follow the path down and you are there. There are free buses but we honestly didn't use them once.
I have put this NOT as any form of criticism but just as hopefully a bit of advice from our experiences. As I first stated we could not find anything we didn't like regarding our wonderful stay at Chalet Kisseye !! Thank you Tanja we hope to see you again sometime in the future.

The view of the Matterhorn
The location from town, no mention on the website regarding the long and steep walk to the property. Attention to detail, did not have a proper bed, only a pull down bed or a secondary sofa bed. Extractor fan in bathroom did not work properly, no welcome pack or a few single portions of milk to have a coffee on arrival. Poor lighting and most of wall switches did not seem to do anything.

Great apartment for summer holidays, with comfortable furnishing and great facilities. Kitchen and living room was well equipped for basic cooking and the inner town is within 10 minutes walk.
No heating when outside temperature hit 4 °C.

Looks lovely on the outside and good views.
Room too small and dark. Lighting was very limited. Space around the bed was very cramped and access to shower was restricted by toilet as door only opens partially.
Pool not open and had been out of use for over a month prior to our stay.

Great view on Matterhorn. Large room with a small kitchen.
Uncomfortable bed which was making a lot of noise when you move. It is impossible not to wake up your partner when turning on a side in the bed...

Perfect balcony with the direct view at Matterhorn. Appartement is cozy and close to the hiking trail to Sunega lake :)
The kitchen is very well equipped even for the longer stay.
Nothing,everything was perfect.

Well located at the top end of the village. Comfortable beds and nice general atmosphere. Very practical ski room. Friendly staff
Nothing major but kitchen not very well stocked for cooking. Lighting quite dim and many of the lights were not working. Lamps were of average quality. A couple of slightly leaky taps.

The ensuite baths for each bedroom was a plus. The location was great. Short walk to some of the best restaurants in Zermatt. A short walk to the Matterhorn Glacier Lift. We also enjoyed the fireplace.
First thing is the refrigerator did not work and it has an alarm. We had to listen to the alarm the entire first night until we could get to a store and buy some tape to keep the switch closed. Thank goodness the Freezers did not really work correctly. One freezer did not freeze at all, but kept things chilled enough to act as the refrigerator. The second freezer was inconsistent, and did freeze one night, so we had throw away part of dinner one night, because the vegetables were ruined.
The Sofas in the living are probably 20 years old and are incredibly uncomfortable. We wound up spending the majority of our time in the apartment around the kitchen table, because the straight back chairs were more comfortable than the sofas.
Next we found the coffee maker did not work. This was the only thing that actually got fixed. We were surprised that someone showed up on Christmas Day with a new coffee maker.
We tried to use the "heated pool". Technically it is heated but to such a low temperature that no one could stay in the water more than a few minutes.
The spa in the master bath was the next fatality. We started filling it black mold, dead bugs, and other gunk started coming out of the jets. We tried turning on the jets to clean the tub, but the pump was not working. We tried filling and emptying the tub about 1/2 a dozen times to try and get the junk out of the pipes. It never worked so we could not even use the tub for a bath or soaking.
The final mechanical issue was the one of the compressors in a freezer started to go out. Beginning Wednesday afternoon we had to spend three days with a very sporadic squeaking coming from the freezer. Thank God it was sporadic. It if were constant we probably would have killed each other. It was like fingernails running down a chalk board.
Making the week most frustrating was finding out that the management company knew about the problems before we checked in.

Matterhorn view is incredible! 😌 Location is good, though hard to find for the first time. Room was nice. Kitchen was cool, but microwave oven would be great to have ) Pool was cool, though could be a little warmer ) Self check-in/out is perfect, totally no interaction ) We liked it)
