A fantastic stay in a perfect location with exceptional views and hospitality!

House Mojo was an exceptional place to stay in Zermatt. The location is ideal for skiing, with very convenient access to the Matterhorn Express. The apartment was immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and wonderfully warm, with high-quality furnishings and excellent amenities throughout. The unobstructed panoramic view of the Matterhorn was truly spectacular and changed daily, making it a highlight of our stay. Meggie was an outstanding host — attentive, gracious, and always available to assist, which made the experience feel seamless and well cared for. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and would highly recommend House Mojo for a comfortable and refined stay in Zermatt.

Nothing to dislike — the house is slightly uphill, which can make carrying skis a bit tiring at the end of the day (for me), though this won’t be an issue for everyone. It was a very small trade-off given how excellent everything else was, and I would absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Zermatt.

Already planning a return to House Mojo!

Surely the best view in Zermatt!! Excellent communication from the host, Meggie, toasty warm, extremely well equipped and when I say it was spotlessly clean, I mean sparklingly SPOTLESS!! Quiet location away from the hustle and bustle, lovely 20 minute walk down into the centre of town, a little longer on the way back up for 2 middle aged people who’s fitness isn’t bad but could definitely be better! That said, it’s good to have the exercise after all the amazing food you will eat around Zermatt and that view is worth every huff and puff - trust me!

Excellent value for money

Meggie met us at the door and showed us everything we needed. She was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Unit was spacious, well stocked ,spotless and had everything we needed. View was amazing. Red line bus stopped right in front of building. Close to Glacier express. Quiet side of town, which we really liked. Highly recommend this unit.

We love this place.

We love this place. Since our first visit, we've been back every summer – for the fourth time now. Spectacular views of the Matterhorn. Modern, clean, and bright interiors. Restaurant next door. Close to the gondola lift to Klein Matterhorn. Located outside the village, but within walking distance to the center. Bus stop right outside the house. Special thanks to Maggie, the property manager.

Great for skiing holidays

The apartment is very modern and comfortable, with a great view of the Matterhorn. It's fully equipped and spacious.

We were staying on the first floor, which meant that we were facing the windows of the building next door from the bedroom. Nothing terrible but we kept the curtain drawn at all times.

House Mojo is run by cheap, lazy, dishonest owners who don’t understand the concept of hospitality.

Good view of the Matterhorn.

The property is located at the top of a very steep, narrow, windy hill. They make you take out your own trash, located all the way down the hill at the “trash transfer station” which is quite a hike back and forth. They only supply one, very small trash bag and tell you to “go buy your own at the grocery store”. Sometimes the shower wouldn’t have hot water. As we were leaving, we had to pay the “mandatory Switzerland tax”. The Owner, Meggie purposely ran my credit card for double the amount, despite my booking.com stating the exact CHF contracted amount. I disputed the charges and reported her fraudulent act. When Booking.com called her, and she refused to return the money, saying “the tax rate is higher now” and felt entitled to charge us more. Thankfully Booking.com credited me back the funds. I think House Mojo is run by cheap, dishonest, lazy owners who don’t understand the concept of hospitality. Very disappointing and frustrating to have had this experience. I would not recommend staying here.

Amazing stay

Absolutely amazing location - nothing can beat waking up to the view of Matterhorn every morning. And it is located just a couple hundred meters from the gondola, so the walk even in the ski boots is super short. Apartment is super clean and spacious, has all the kitchen equipment that is needed - including a complimentary bottle of wine! Last, but not the least - Meggie is the great host, always ready to help and answer our questions!

it was super strange not to have neither shampoo nor shower gel in the shower; I guess if the apartment had those, it would be simply perfect.

excellent location, 3 minute walk from the main lift to Matterhorn Paradise/Italy, heated boot room, well stocked kitchen, comfy bed, clean, amazing uninterrupted views of the Matterhorn

It is slightly expensive for accommodation that does not provide any daily cleaning or food but towels, linen, cleaning materials were all readily available and we could ask for fresh towels if we needed

Stunning view, probably the best in Zermatt.

The view of the Matterhorn was stunning. Bus stop right outside the door makes it easy to get anywhere. Good facilities in the unit. First holiday rental I've found that has a wok! Ground coffee supplied along with filter papers. Lovely balcony to sit out in the sun and admire the jaw dropping view. A multitude of different television channels in various languages as well as access to Netflix (using your own account)

I'm short and couldn't reach plates, glasses etc as they were all in high cupboards. Fortunately my partner is taller and could reach all but the highest shelf. Dining table had high stools which I can never climb up on, so we either ate on the balcony or at the coffee table.

Perfection

The entire space was perfect. The view was to die for. I could stare out from the deck all day just gazing upon the Matterhorn. Meggie had great communication with us!! When we come back, there’s no place else I would want to stay.

Superb

We liked that the apartment was very clean and it has all modern facility that one can think of. The location is good as it's in a quiet zone of Zermatt yet it's very close to an essential gondola which takes you to glacier paradise and the train station in the mountain for Gornergrat.

Actually there's nothing we did not like at all! The only possible improvement we could see is that it would be great plus to provide some blanket for sitting on the balcony, given that the view on the balcony is fantastic and sometimes the temperature in the mountain can drop to ver low.

Really great!

We had an apartment with a great view of Matterhorn. It was spacious, luminous, clean, cozy.. everything was new, also kitchen equipment. Great location near to the lift. Meggie was really helpful and friendly. Zermatt bars and restaurants were closed due to covid, but slopes were all open and empty for us! Very few skiers. We really love our week in zermatt. We will never see it like that. We will be back.

Bardzo przestrzenne i zadbane mieszkanie. Posiada wszystkie niezbędne akcesoria do użytku codziennego. W budynku są przechowalnie i winda. Tuż obok budynku jest restauracja z dobrym jedzeniem, co przy dalszej lokalizacji od centrum czasem ratuje. Wisienką na torcie to obsługa obiektu, która jest bardzo uprzejma i profesjonalna.

Mogłaby by być trochę cieplejsza woda w łazience. Pod prysznic się nadawała, ale do wanny już gorzej.

Las vistas al Matterhorn. El alojamiento es caliente y estaba limpio.

La ubicación si vas desde la estación de tren no es buena, está a media hora caminando. Está lejos del centro. Una cosa importante a mencionar es que pagando una barbaridad no ponen ni un simple gel de ducha y champú en el baño. Es algo básico que debería estar a disposición del cliente. La propietaria no es muy amigable.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft pudelwohl gefühlt.

Am Beeindruckendsten war der Ausblick durch das Panoramafenster auf das Matterhorn und die umgrenzende Bergwelt. Zusätzlich haben wir den angrenzenden Balkon für unsere Mahlzeiten nutzen können. Die Küchenausstattung war vorbildlich. Ebenso praktisch war die Möglichkeit, das im Erdgeschoss angrenzende Restaurant nutzen zu können. Auch hat uns der kostenlose Stadtbusverkehr gefallen, zumal die Bushaltestelle unmittelbar vor dem House Mojo lag.

Uns hat alles gefallen.
