Excellent ski trip thanks to the perfect chalet.

The location of the property was perfect! It was a short walk away from the Matterhorn Express and an easy bus ride into town. The chalet itself felt very homey, with a warm cabin feel thanks to the wooden finishes, fireplace, and decorations. Also, the outdoor jacuzzi was an added bonus. It fit 8 adults very comfortably.

Swiss perfection in Zermatt

Perfect experience in Zermatt!!! Lisa is the best host we have ever had in numerous vacation stays. She was so helpful and communication with her was exceptional. We had a small injury to one of our party and she explained where to go and helped us with coordinating which is no small thing. Chalet was large, and cozy at the same time. It is a newer building so cleanliness was immaculate but it still had that real swiss charm that we love. Facilities had more than we even needed. Kitchen fully stocked with utensils etc. Bathrooms were clean and bright. Lisa even has slippers and bathrobes for guests. A welcome feature after long days of hiking. Chalet is in the southern section of Zermatt so about a 20 minute walk to center. But the electric bus station is only a minute away so once we figured out schedule it was easy to get around. We will definitely be staying at Chalet Huwi again!!!Small suggestion is that some of the restaurants nearest apartment had the best food in town with incredible views of the Matterhorn as well. Patrick who owns the Waldhaus Restaurant was our favorite. Literally a 30 second walk away.

Relaxing and spacious chalet with amazing Matterhorn views.

The chalet was very clean and spacious with a classic Swiss cabin feel along with modern kitchen and bathrooms. The owner lives next door and is available for any support. The communication was detailed and clear for an easy arrival and answers to questions and recommendations were very responsive. The hot tub was lovely and maintained daily and the Matterhorn views from the porch were magnificent while enjoying our morning coffee.

There is construction of a new building next door and their work woke us up early before 8:00 on the weekdays. There is additional construction disrupting bus routes that makes traveling to the town more challenging than normal. These minor inconveniences should be temporary.

The perfect accommodation to relax with family in fantastic nature.

We really loved everything about this superb chalet above Zermatt. The chalet was so comfortable and cosy.. and was equipped with whatever you might wish for. The kitchen was 1A, too. We loved the quiet location with breathtaking views of the Matterhorn, enjoyed relaxing and barbecuing in the lovely garden, sat together inside the chalet around the hygge fireplace. We also did not miss relaxing at the outside whirlpool at the end of the day. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in this fantastic and spotless, clean gem only for two nights as a family of 6. We all hope we can come back and stay longer next time. Thank you for this unforgettable mountain experience.

Unforgettable Stay in Zermatt

We rented the entire chalet for a week and absolutely loved it! The chalet is beautiful, has an amazing view of the Matterhorn, and is in a quiet part of town. Lisa , our host, met us upon arrival and was so helpful and accommodating. She was happy to answer our questions any time we stopped by her place. The house was immaculate, super comfortable, and the most well equipped vacation home I’ve ever stayed in. I would absolutely book Chalet Huwi again!

Exceptional

Beautiful chalet with everything you need. The home is amazingly spacious. We came in 7 including a 5 years old kid and everyone had an amazing time. Beds are comfortable and it would be a crime not to mention the kitchen and the living...spacious, functional and cosy. We had our mornings for breakfast in the kitchen and evening for drinks and chats in the living everyday. Thank you Lisa, a wonderful friendly and helpful person. If we are to come back to zermatt in a big group, Huwi is the only place.

The chalet is located just next to the bus stop which is very convenient. Otherwise, it would have been very difficult to get to the chalet especially for international travellers who have huge luggage.

(Wishful) Home from home, relaxing, calming, a peaceful place to experience Zermatt

The chalet was spacious and comfortable. The host has provided a variety of things that help to make the stay feel a home away from home. We wanted for nothing and loved our stay. The views both from the front and back of the chalet were beautiful. our stay was relaxing and very enjoyable. The area of the chalet is quiet and welcoming, with access to all the adventures Zermatt has to offer.

We had a wonderful stay. The property was ideally located outside the busy downtown but steps away from the shuttle. The chalet was perfect for a family vacation. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The beds were comfy and 4 bathrooms was a treat for a family of 6. The view from the deck was amazing.

Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Chalet. Es fehlt an nichts, die Küche ist genial ausgestattet, Zimmer und Bäder ebenfalls. Alles ist bestens durchdacht und organisiert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schade, wenn auch verständlich, daß der Whirlpool nur zwischen 10 und 20.00 Uhr genutzt werden darf. Schön wäre es, wenn die Check out-Zeit frühestens um 10.00 Uhr wäre. Wir hätten unser Geschwister-Wochenende anlässlich des 60. Geburtages gerne mit einem gemeinsamen Geburtagsfrühstück abgeschlossen. Wir haben uns dagegen entschieden, da uns das zu stressig gewesen wäre.
