It was disappointing to stay in, and way too far from the central city.

It did have a nice balcony, sufficient rooms (three rooms for a family with a bunk bed), and sheep next door :)

We especially didn’t like the location, because even though it was close to the lift up to the Matterhorn glacier paradise it is incredibly hard to push our four pieces of big luggage up the hill and up the two flights of stairs to get to the room. In addition the house had a lot of bugs and bees. We desperately wanted to wash our clothes during our stay but the washer dryer had a piece of clothing still left inside, and it was absolutely disgusting. We ended up not being able to use the washer dryer at all.

I strongly recommend this property: 1. Excellent location – You can see the Matterhorn right from the balcony, including the beautiful sunrise, without needing to go outside. 2. Convenient storage – There is a storage room on the ground floor, and the owner allows you to leave your luggage after check-out. This is very convenient if you have a tour on your last day, as you don’t need to pay for luggage storage at the train station. 3. Pet-friendly – Perfect for traveling with my furry family. 4. Well-equipped – The property has great facilities, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

The apartment is clean and the kitchen is fully equipped. The location is also nice, just right in front of Matterhorn. We will definitely book it again

Not our best of stays in Swiss region. The dryer/washer was very small so we couldn't do our laundry properly. That was the main reason for us going for an apartment vs a hotel. The yard with barbecue had standing water and balcony area was not very clean and looked unkempt. There was no portable fan and when we opened the windows we got too many bugs since there was no mesh.

Excellent stay with a full view of the Matterhorn!

The apartment had a lot of room for our group. It was clean and well furnished. The kitchen was also fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking. Chris was very quick and responsive to all our questions. The best part was the balcony - we could see the whole Matterhorn clearly from the balcony!

Although the apartment was very close to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car station, it was not close to the train station or town center (about 25 Minutes walk). When we arrived in Zermatt, we underestimated the distance from the train station to the apartment while carrying all our luggages. After a couple trips back and forth into town during our stay, we all kind of gotten used to it. Besides, by walking, we really got to appreciate the beautiful Zermatt scenery. On our checkout day, we decided to use the local bus service to get ourselves and our luggages to the train station (bus stop was about 1 minute away from the apartment). That was really nice!

Excellent apartment for experiencing Zermatt in a cosy setting

The property itself is well maintained, well decorated, and welcoming. The location of the property is not too far from the center of the town. The view of the Matterhorn from the balcony is just out of this world. The host was very helpful in providing key information needed for our stay.

Only two minor things: the beds were not too comfortable for some of us; there was no soap/shampoo in the bathrooms.

it was beautiful and had everything you needed. loved the common spaces and the kitchen! and it was super clean! also the location to the cable car for the ski slopes was perfect

there is no elevator and to the center of zermatt is a 20’ walk! but for the rest is perfect

The apartment is absolutely beautiful, clean and well equipped. Location is perfect. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay in Zermatt.

Tolle Wohnung mit super Aussicht!

Ruhige Lage mit toller Aussicht aufs Matterhorn, angenehme Grösse der Wohnung, besonders für Kinder und gute Ausstattung.

Etwas weiter weg vom Bahnhof, mit viel Gepäck/Kindern und zu Fuss etwas mühsam erreichbar aber machbar. Dafür ist es weit weg vom Trubel und schön ruhig.
