The penthouse is extremely convenient and family-friendly—Denner, Coop, and the Gornergrat train station are right around the corner. It is very safe and spacious for families with small kids. The 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are great, especially the street-facing bedroom with two single beds which was perfect for our 3-year-old. The kitchen is fully equipped with Miele appliances and thoughtful details down to potato peelers and mashers. The living room projector with Apple TV lets you log into Netflix or Disney+ seamlessly. From the balcony, you can watch the famous Zermatt goat parade twice daily, and the golden sunrise over the Matterhorn is absolutely breathtaking. We loved it so much that after 21 nights, we extended our stay for another 11 nights!

Standard stays include cleaning on arrival/departure, with mid-stay cleanings priced at CHF 150 per session. We experienced some initial bumps with mid-stay cleaning schedules and entry times. However, the host Alessandro resolved everything very professionally, took full accountability, and generously compensated us with a complimentary cleaning session.

Great location, spacious living room and kitchen. Well equipped.

Bedrooms a little small. An additional bathroom would have been nice.

The penthouse is really nice, with an amazing view of Matterhorn, and our preferred location, right next to the Gornegrat train. Alessandro is a top-notch host. We loved spending our extended-family ski week at this apartment. You have your own laundry and ski rooms. And did I mention the view from that expansive kitchen/living room, big enough for a game of tennis.

If we *have* to put something here - not a deal breaker at all - it would be that the fireplace is not operational. Also, when it comes to spa/pool amenities, we found our own way by getting day passes at nearby hotels' spas, but perhaps a penthouse of this quality deserves a special access partnership deal at one of those.
