We stayed in the Cottage room, which is adjacent to the main chalet. It is a unique property, with a mix of old timber frames and modern internal features. The room is beautifully styled, cosy and very comfortable. Great location - you are a short walk from the main town, and we had access to the great spa facilities in the Backstage Hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

The bathroom could do with underfloor heating as it is very cold.

We enjoyed our stay here

We loved being able to lay in a super comfy bed and watch the world go by… and in a quiet area… Whilst not in the city centre it is only about a 5-10 minute walk (on flat ground). The green bus runs regularly for free and this will take you to the city centre… (about a 1 minute walk to the bus stop) This property is only a 5 minute walk to the cable car to go to the Matterhorn..

There was no fridge and no suitcase racks so luggage had to be open on the floor…

Zermatt trip of a lifetime.

From the moment we were greeted with a coffee to the moment we collected our bags which were delivered to the train station, we had a fabulous time. Perfect room and location.

L’equip que porta el Hotel. Carmen ha estat sempre atenta s les nostra necessitats . El Spa esta molt be.

Wir haben unseren Kurzurlaub in Zermatt in unserem heimeligen Cottage sehr genossen.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Ruhig gelegen, am Ende des Dorfes, in der Nähe der Gondelbahn. Das Cottage ist sehr heimelig eingerichtet (Stil Heinz Julen). Viel Privatsphäre. Sehr bequeme Betten. Die Schlüsselübergabe hat problemlos funktioniert. Danke Daniel- er hat uns direkt am Bahnhof abgeholt und beim Cottage alles gezeigt und erklärt. Der Wellnessbereich im Backstage Hotel ist wunderschön- er darf mitbenutzt werden.

Leider waren die Fotos auf booking.com irreführend. Sie zeigen vor allem die Räume des grossen, luxuriösen Nachbarchalets, welches nur wochenweise als ganzes Haus gemietet werden kann. Wenn man nur das Cottage bucht, hat man keinen Zugang zu den andern Räumen. Im Cottage befindet sich das Badezimmer im unteren Stock, was uns nicht bewusst war. Die Treppe ist nicht ganz ungefährlich, vor allem wenn man nachts auf die Toilette muss. Das Badezimmer ist sehr klein und hat wenig Ablageflächen. Vermisst haben wir einen kleinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer.

Déception

Joli chalet, belle terrasse et mobilier sympa.

Le personnel un peu stressant (plusieurs appels pour l'heure de notre arrivée, mauvaise communication avec le taxi à l'arrivée, petit déjeuner déposé en vitesse,...) On a eu l'impression que la personne qui nous a accueillies avait envie de finir son service. Nous avons avisé que le lavabo coule lors de notre check out. Mais apparemment le personnel était au courant mais personne ne nous l'avait dit lors de notre arrivée. Les lavettes utilisées ont été ramassées mais pas remplacées. Les capsules à café n'ont pas été complétées. Nous n'avions plus que 2 capsules le 2 ème jour. Nous avions tout bien préparé nos bagages sur un petit chariot personnel lors du checkout; 2 sacs empilés maintenus par un élastique. Lorsque nous sommes venues les chercher au backstage, ils étaient plus du tout sur le chariot. Dans un des sacs nous avions un Ipad avec sa fourre et Lorsqu'on a défait nos bagages à la maison on a découvert que l'écran est fissuré. Nous avons été déçues du service qui n'est pas digne d'un hôtel de cette renommée.

Impressionen bei der Buchung und Ist nicht identisch, Abgang zum Bad/WC wird nirgends so erwähnt, Abluft vor allem im Hinblick auf die Feuchtigkeit ist nicht ausreichend Pteis/Leistung - auch für Zermatt - zu hinterfragen

Schönes einladendes Zimmer; allerdings eher klein

Das Zimmer war sehr speziell eingerichtet, die Betten komfortabel und die Terrasse sehr einladend. Das kleine Häuschen sah von aussen auch sehr einladend aus.

Es fehlte ein Kühlschrank, was man bei einem solch hohen Preis doch erwarten dürfte.
