Great value in the center of Zermatt; like a home away from home.

The kitchen was well equipped for family meals. The apartment feels even larger than the listed 1700+ sq/ft. Unobstructed views of the Matterhorn from the balcony and living room. Location was central and close to most facilities.

The only downside is that there was no A/C. You don't really need the A/C, but with the windows open, you hear some people at night.

a very nice cute little home.

1) location, location, and location. 2) called the owner to fix the refrigerator and he did on the same day. 3) error during booking but the owner was able to accommodate from 3 to 4 people. 4) the owner seemed to be a reasonable person and easy to contact. 5) nice view & quiet location. 6) cute little tiny home. 7) we appreciate the owner (Mr. Beat) didn’t collect our payment on the first day like most properties

1) very small house-compared to American standard. 2) we went skiing and didn’t know about ski room where we have to store them down there. 3) this is our 1st trip to Switzerland so we didn’t know different traditions/customs. the owner seemed to upset when we walked inside w our shoes and ski equipments. 4) the owner asked to call him when we get to the train. we did and not answer. it was our fault because we didn’t let him know what time to expect us. 5) lack of instructions to what to expect from us as guests and things to do/offer in the area i.e. check in process, tour the house, like the usage coffee maker (it was broken), where grocery stores, water, laundry, bus line, gondola stations, etc. 6) we were there for 5 days 7) I didn’t know that I have to pay the bill. I thought I already paid via Booking.com

location was excellent for ski buses, excellent for the local spa shop and excellent for restaurants and bars but also in a quiet location after 9pm latest. Beat and his wife were brilliant and relaxed about everything as just the two of us the apt was very spacious and had everything we needed throughout our weeks’ stay.

Good location in town was the main positive, rest were negatives

Location of apartments is decent. Walking distance to many restaurants, train station and ski lifts albeit a bit far with ski equipment.

No wifi or internet access. Couldn't adjust the temperature in room and it was very hot all of the time making it hard to sleep. No soundproofing, could hear EVERYTHING from adjoining rooms. No food available on site and carry in didn't work either because there weren't any plates, silverware, microwave, hot plate, etc. There didn't seem to be anyone working in the apartment building during my stay. The outside door was left unlocked all of the time and the key was left in my room and that's where I left it when I "checked out". My only interaction with who I assume was the owner was when he arrived the night I checked in, banged on the door and asked me to pay in advance the nights I was staying. He told me I was lucky to be able to stay there since usually they book the rooms for longer periods?!? and after I had paid said the check out was at 10 AM because he had "guests arriving". I pushed back on this for obvious reasons, in part because I had paid for a ski rental that day, lift passes, etc. with the idea that I could ski in the morning at least. He said I could leave my belongings in the narrow hallway by the (unlocked and unattended) door to the building. This was a nonstarter with a work and personal laptop, passport and other work and personal documents in my suitcase. I continued to push back and he said I could check out at 11:30. I skied from 9 until 10:30, raced back to the hotel for a quick shower and left the room with the key in the door where I had found it. I returned my rental ski equipment and a few minutes later saw a note on the booking app from the owner saying I could check out at 1 PM. As I was killing time around town until my 4:30 train I had plenty of time to think about how the next time I'm in Zermatt I'll definitely be staying somewhere else.

Very nice apartment in a great location. We really enjoyed our time at Haus Welcome. Well equipped and very comfortable to stay in. The owners were very friendly and helpful as well. View to the Matterhorn from the terrace was excellent. Would return for sure.

A bit noisy in one of the bedrooms on the street side. No fault of the owners but needed to keep the window shut to sleep.

Everything! Our stay in Haus welcome was exceptional! The apartment exceeded our expectations although even on photos everything looks fine.. but in reality it is even better! The room is spacious, modern, bright & clean! Fully equipped kitchen with all kitchen facilities (ans some more as salt, sugar, tea, coffee, even bakery paper), beds are comfortable and mattresses are extremely supportive. And of course spacious balcony with breathtaking view of Matterhorn ^_^ The owner was nice & friendly making our stay perfect

A proximité du centre ville. La famille de l'hôte et l'hôte lui même sont d'une gentillesse incroyable. L'appartement est gigantesque et ont y trouve bcp de chose. La vue sur le cervin est incroyable et si on observe bien la nuit on peut y observer des petites lumières qui descendent le cervin.

Pas la faute de l'hôte mais quand les voisins du dessus écoute de la musique à fond cela s'entend pas mal. Sinon manque juste qqs produit d'entretien pour faire la vaisselle. Les lits sont un peu durs mais cela conviendra certainement à pas mal de personnes!

Die Unterkunft war perfekt als Alleinreisender. Es ist super zentral gelegen. Man ist schnell bei den Ski Liften und ist Mitten im Ortszentrum. Trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen.

Es gab eigentlich nichts negatives an der Reise.
