brilliant central accommodation, lovely high spec decor and furniture and fittings. very clean. Host / owner very responsive to communication and helpful. Allowed us to leave some luggage before the check in time .

Woken up early every morning by noise from delivery vehicles and recycling / refuse wagons outside the property which I know there is no control over but no warning of this prior to booking and not mentioned in any reviewers comments. Im assuming as it is an old building there are regulations on type of windows which may have meant limited noise blocked out !

Stunning apartment, city centre, just perfect

What can I say absolutely stunning apartment, the decor is beautiful and fantastic location right in the city centre. The apartment has all you need and more. The kitchen was well equipped, high end appliances. Bathrobes, hair dryer and straighteners nice touch. The bath was amazing, big enough for two and the shower was amazing. Comfortable bed, memory foam mattress just what we have at home. One of the best sleeps we’ve had while away. The heating broke on our stay, the hoist was fantastic and put in electric heaters for us and it was toasty warm. The most perfect stay thank you

Chic boutique at Chester1!!!

Space, decor, big bath tub, ease of access, simplicity of the apartment. Fully equipped with everything you need, very clean, very quiet and warm, perfect location right in the heart of Chester - could not be more perfect - would highly recommend and access was super simple

Not easy to find but once you get your bearings it is simple. Not recommended for those with mobility issues or who cannot climb stairs

The location of this property is perfect. All facilities are very high spec and the decor is lovely. So comfortable.

The only drawback is the number of stairs to the top apartments. Not easy with large, heavy luggage.

Lovely property in a perfect, central location. Bed we very comfortable, rooms were well decorated with nice details - range of teas, coffee and even some games.

Nothing of any significance. A microwave could be a really useful addition as well as 2nd key card but certainly nothing to complain about.

The whole apartment was lovely and very well presented. It was perfect for two.

There wasn’t enough of some of the facilities provided: only one bin liner; only two toilet rolls; not enough cookware; only one tea towel; only one handtowel.

Very tiring .

Beautiful and stylish decor - very thoughtful inclusions. Quality materials and appliances . Great using a top class smeg oven and hob .

The noise from party crowds in the very popular clubbing spot on outside street made sleep impossible. We naturally closed the window which made the room quite stuffy also. There was an apartment at the rear which I’d read someone else recommending for good reason. There were also 45 stairs .. you need to be fit and ready to party till 2am which could be fine for the 20-35 age group.

Beware.

Central location. Nice apartment overall.

Check-in procedure was haphazard - rather than showing up, the landlord issued directions, one at a time and sometimes with a delay, via WhatsApp, which caused me to go up and down an extra flight of stairs with all my luggage. It felt like completing a side quest in a glitchy video game. But the real warning is for any pair of travelers who do not share a bed: We booked a specific apartment listing (Deva) that indicated "the entire place is yours" including "2 beds," one a sofa bed. This was repeated elsewhere in the listing and in the pricing for 2 people (see attached photos). Turns out the sofa bed was secured with a bicycle lock (!). When we inquired about this, the landlord immediately insinuated that we were in fact 3 people, trying to smuggle an extra guest in (not true). He repeated this insinuation multiple times and demanded extra money off-platform to unlock the sofa bed. Needless to say, we felt very unwelcome and decamped to a proper hotel. Very disappointing stay and by far the worst - in fact the only bad one - of a two-month-long trip.

We like the location and also that everything was neat and clean. Beautifully decorated.

We did not like the stairs, because we are senior citizens and it was tough for us. But the staff was extremely helpful and took our luggage up and down.

Very comfortable

Beautifully decorated and finished to a high standard. Very comfortable bed, pillows and bed linen. Lovely White Company toiletries.

We had a problem with the shower flooding on the first evening but Patrizio promptly organised to have it sorted on the same day.

Great location - but you can't avoid those noisy Seagulls!

Location was fantastic, right on bridge street. The tech was really good. Loved the bath as it was huge. Living area was great, and the kitchen had everything you need in it.

The tele in the living room didn't work! (Would turn on but although the remote was working, it wouldn't change channel). Whilst I've rated this accommodation high, we wouldn't stay here again for one reason...SEAGULLS! The windows are old fashioned and single glazed and the damn seagulls woke us up on both days. Fair to say we didn't get a good night sleep on either of our 2 night stay.

Wonderful Storeyhouse Getaway!

The location is an easy walk to the Storyhouse. Gail’s Bakery is across the street and opens early for that morning coffee & avocado toast. There are multiple stores in the area for clothing, should you forget something 😊.

If you’re in the Deva Suite there are plenty of stairs to climb should you have heavy/large luggage.

Beautiful boutique apartment in the heart of the city

The apartment is beautifully decorated throughout and so clean. The beds were so comfortable with lovely white bed linen. We had every home comfort we could need. It is an excellent place to spend time in the city.

If I have another vacation in Chester, this is where I want to stay

Location was unrivalled, positioned well to explore the city. Apartment was light and well furnished. At the rear of the building it was also very quiet which was welcome.

It was difficult, for me, to get the shower temperature correct.

Whist the room was excellent. it overlooked rooftops & other commercial buildings. So not the prettiest view, but by no way would put me off returning.

Great, just don’t bring too many heavy bags or a car!

Apartment was very nice, however the photo above is for the other apartment, which was a little misleading. It had a washing machine which was great, and both a hair dryer and straightener. Location was quite central to lots of good restaurants.

No parking and there were three flights of very steep steps - one set from the road and two inside. We had some issues with the toilet flush that Patrizio did come and address, but it wasn’t working again after he fixed it.

This is just for owner. We are from US so maybe too demanding!! Washer and no dryer! No instructions how to use anything e.g. towel rail, coffee maker, oven. Sofa was stained

Perfect location but not 5 star.

Property was well positioned in central Chester. The access was tricky as my WiFi wasn’t getting signal and entry is all electronic so I had to wait 20 minutes until I eventually got in having gained a WiFi code for a nearby business.

The property needs a good clean and the bin in the bathroom was still full from previous occupants. Shower area is stained and needs renovation. Definitely not 5 star
