    Located just off the motorway so it was a nice easy drive for us from the wirral. We stayed one night but spent the beat part of 2 days here. I highky recommend bookimg spa access, 2 hours for £20.

    Hotel aesthetic was good, set within nice grounds. Food was terrible, I never write reviews and would never be so blunt but feel I have to as this was Hilton and I expected so much more. This is primarily based on the experience of the 8oz Angus Sirloin which I’ve had better at my local pub at a fraction of the cost. Pool and all its facilities are within the spa which restricts the kids from accessing, this was mentioned anywhere when I booked. Spa was tiny and is an extra £20 per person, we felt it was very overcrowded so not a relaxing experience - breakfast was very standard and certainly no better than a premier inn or travel lodge Breakfast experience. Overall I thought the experience was poor for Hilton… just expected more
