Would stay again!

Very clean, comfortable, with excellent facilities and products in the bathroom and room. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Kept our luggage safe before check-in at no cost. Able to keep items from fridge. Great location.

Was given postcode of a long-stay car park which was some distance away, and was not long stay! On arrival at hotel, was directed to one much closer, Which was very convenient. Some issues with provision of fried eggs at breakfast. Would help to have a dedicated member of staff at this area.

A fantastic hotel in Chester with great, interesting decor

The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and furnished in a great and more interesting way than most hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. The en-suite with dual shower was fantastic - loved the style of it. The bed and bedding was comfy. The view of the church and gardens outside were also an unexpected but pleasing addition. Really nice touch to have complimentary drinks / snacks in the room. Everywhere in the hotel seemed clean. As there were multiple lifts we never had to wait for one. We really enjoyed both drinks at the bar in the evening and our breakfast in the morning. The seating and atmosphere was comfy and relaxed.

The only reason we didn’t score it a maximum 10 / 10 was because it looked like a couple of bits were a bit worn etc and the tv was wonky. Also there was limited drawer space for storing our clothes. However these really weren’t big issues for us!

Really nice high end feeling hotel.

The hotel in its entirety was impressive, lobby, bar, restaurant etc. Very relaxed atmposphere. Staff very friendly and when we realised we forgot toothpaste it was no trouble at all and provided a full tube. We stayed in a old style room which was really quirky and nicely furnished. Bathroom really nicely done. We had drinks/cocktails in the bar. The bar man was very knowledgeable at making off the menu cocktails. We ate in the restaurant. Nice food, a little pricey. Great location, car park in the next street along.

There was nothing we didn't like. Would stay again and recommend.

Comfy bed, good location, fiddly setup

Waited 40 minutes to check in as room wasn't ready, when it was ready some guy was on his knees in the bathroom doing something to the shower tray (weird) shower dripping all night, air con bit fiddly, then lights were just bizarre to get to work properly, stained bathroom door, hairs in the shower tray, this was a deluxe king room with balcony, weather was dry but cold for the balcony, balcony glass was filthy a large plant was the only thing separating you from the people in the next room too, so if I was in the shower and decided to leave the balcony doors open for some fresh air in the summer, people could just walk in, a outdoor heated would be good and a composite wall to separate it better, breakfast was excellent but not very user friendly

Parking was a distance from the hotel but it was clear that all hotels relied on main city centre parking too. To be fair, the hotel had a discounted parking fee partnership with the nearest multi-storey.

Was a very comfortable stay.

The staff at the restaurant was great. It was during Christmas, so limited staff, but we enjoyed it whenever we visited. The front desk staff were also great and friendly. The shower is great and water pressure is good.

Really lovely !

Staff were just lovely as were the rooms. Enjoyed breakfast and the bar in the evening was lovely also with nice other clientele.

This isn’t a moan. There is no parking suggest the hotel recommend the train station car park at £10 for 24 hours which is a quick walk as opposed to the more expensive options they recommend which have tight spaces to say the lease. If you have a larger vehicle then go to the station.

Buffet breakfast wasn't hot and the eggs and bacon were hard . However on our second morning we didn't have the buffet and what we ordered was excellent

Great location Grat breakfast bed to soft for me

Breakfast was very good lots of choice. Staff were friendly and looked after everyone

Couple of things. I found the beds to be to soft and the pillows were even more soft. My shower handle came off but as it was a Sunday it could not be fixed. They did offer to move us to another room or the use of a shower in a different room but we were leaving the next morning so did not take them up on the offer

Everything!! This hotel is exceptional. Its so modern and beautifully decorated and high end. Fantastic location. Our room was outstanding. It was incredibly spacious. The bed was so comfortable and pillows. Free mini bar. The Birthday package was tasteful and made it extra special for my husband. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

One night pit stop

Nice design, comfortable bed, quiet

No view (window is frosted) and expensive for what it is… also we booked this hotel as it was advertised having a car park but it does not. The hotel has some kind arrangement with parking short walk away which we did not use due to Chester Marathon road closures.
