Would visit again, beautiful place, friendly staff and all round lovely night’s stay with no detail spared

The property was beautifully designed, nicely situated, clean, comfortable and stylish, staff were friendly and there was great communication before and during our stay

The light coming from the street lights was shining through to the bed even with curtains closed, and there was a strong smell coming from the drains particularly in the shower in the bathroom

The room should have been warm before arrival. It’s winter and the temp was 14 degrees on arrival and never reached high

Amazing place to stay

This hotel is a hidden gem! It is located a few minutes by foot from the city center in a quiet and residential area. The historical building is lovely, modern and well decorated. Our room was located in a quiet part of the hotel and we were all alone in our floor. We were upgraded which was so nice of them. Our room was really spacious with a living room area, large bathroom with a bad and shower, cozy bed and fancy ambiance. The bed was comfortable too. Everything was really great! The parking behind the building was also convenient, free and secure. The self check-in was also convenient and the staff was really friendly.

- Some corner were a bit dusty and there was some spider in the bathroom.

Great place to stay, call for parking information ahead of time.

Great space and clean. Location is perfect.

Parking was arranged prior and information about locating it were not clear. Used address shared and as a result ended up with 2 parking tickets. At check in communication was poor. When trying to call to have confirmation of parking there was no answer.

As close to perfect as you can get

Well placed central location. Inclusive parking. Concierge Tracy was super helpful with what’s app guidance and direction. Bedroom suite was spacious. Sofa and tub as well as double bed and tv plus Nespresso coffee machine in the bedroom.

Rainfall shower was difficult to adjust temperature and the pressure was low.

Excellent location but facilities let it down

The room layout and the quality of the furniture, the space was well laid out and the room was well dressed. Location was exceptional for direct access into the town.

No staff on site made it awkward to raise concerns in a timely manner, the room was absolutely freezing cold (14 degree on arrival and never went above 17), my wife had to take a bath to warm up and we had to wake up twice in the night to "boost" the heating back on and slept in jumpers, 2 cups were dirty for coffee. Not pleased about that at all.

The Property was modern, clean and all products down to the bedding and free toiletries were of high quality.

Perfect quiet getaway near town

Perfect for the introvert traveller! No contact arrival, no fuss. There isn't any breakfast provided but loads of places to eat nearby as you're right beside the city centre. Small bit of parking around the back once you inform staff in advance. Room was really comfortable and really well designed.

Possibly use refillable shower containers rather than individual small bottles from a sustainability perspective.

Great place for exploring Chester

Great location, room was clean, tea and coffee making facilities were very welcome.

We were in room 3 which has a separate seating area. That area could do with a little table to make it easier to use for sitting down and having a drink.

Great place to stay

Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Great location and there is a qaint cafe around the corner thats reasonably priced too. The room gad everythng i needed. Iron and board. Coffee machine, ensuite with large walk in shower. Just me and my partner having a shopping trip and a night out. Didnt see a member of staff during our stay but didnt need to. The room had everything and you get a code to get into the main enterance and another for your room. Would stay again.

Perfect! Great location, beautiful hotel, modern and clean. Tracy is fantastic, great communication, and so helpful on arrival helping with parking and making sure we had everything we needed. Would easily stay again.

Brilliant place to stay

Absolutely lovely property, clean tidy and very well styled. Amy was so great with helping us as we were a later check in and needed to park. Brilliant location too for walking into Chester centre and the mattress was amazing!

Location was wonderful. And we were met with a wonderful staff member whom was very helpful

Only 1 negative would be the pillows. The mattress really comfortable but the pillows are all very flat and a little uncomfortable

The location was excellent, it was secure and all finishes were good quality. The bed was so comfortable! They even left an air conditioning unit on for us, so the room was nice and cool when we arrived. Very welcome in this heat!

There were no staff on site with it being a weekend, which was odd. If there has been an issue, it might have been a faff to get help. Having said that, there wasn’t, so no harm no foul!

Lovely hotel & visit, would stay again

Very clean, great location and staff, would return! Despite using different car park, it was only around the corner.

Minor points - we booked last minute so our room was at the front right next to the entrance, I would request a different room if I was to return. The car park was understandably full so we used the car park around the corner at a rate of £8 per day. There is a language centre next door and students were sitting in the doorway on occasion.

Perfect apartment and location

The location is perfect and everything is a short walk away. Reserve a space in the cark park to make bags easier but there are loads of NCPs near by and they were reasonably priced. Tracy is great and very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the paddock and the rooms are big and decorated to a high standard. The old sash windows are ace and let in a good breeze throughout the apartment. Everything you could think of was provided in the rooms. Had a great time and will gladly return to The Seven on our next visit to Chester.

Location perfect for shops and restaurants. Parking onsite and host very friendly. Generous size rooms and fully furnished with everything you could need especially in the kitchen. Great to have milk, water and coffee provided for our stay.

The windows were unable to block out street noise; the property was very warm and would benefit from air con.
