Good location in walking distance to the wharf and shops. Nice freshly prepared breakfast delivered to your door. Very accommodating with additional parking for the boat, safe and secure.

A well run family owned and operated motel conveniently located in the heart of Paihia. The hosts were warm and friendly and went above and beyond to help me particularly when i'd had a cancelled flight and required transport.

We had an amazing stay.

The location of the motel is perfect. The beach is just there and so are restaurants etc. There is plenty of parking. The breakfast was amazing. The best croissants I have ever had and a great variety of fresh fruit. I even got a mince pie on Christmas day which coming from the states was extra special. I would stay here again and recommend the place to others.

Everything was as expected. A bonus would have been a drying rack for wet towels etc as we were enjoying the activities there and were in the water every day.

Quiet comfortable hotel to use as a base whilst exploring the Bay of Islands.

Just a short walk to reach all the local amenities. Room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the hotel proprieter, Trevor, was very friendly and helpful.

A delightful, friendly, comforting, homey, private, restful getaway.

There were many beautiful personal touches, from the initial meet and greet, with ideas of interesting outings given. Delicious breakfast with a different menu each morning, delivered with a smile and presented exceptionally. Central enough to walk to most of where we wanted to go, but far enough out to be quiet and private.

Our only issue was that the bed was too soft for our comfort. However, this is not enough to deter us from wanting to return in the future.

Tidy, nice small motel in lovely beach town.

There is a free breakfast brought to your room each morning, and different each day. There is a main item, (omelet, bagel w/salmon) and a nice fruit plate. The location is about a ten minute walk from the main part of town and right across the road from the Paihia to Opua trail start. This end of the trail is only available at low tide. If the tide is up, walk over the hill on the sidewalk until the beach is there. Cross over a bridge and into the bush on the left to finish this great walk.

This was one of the only places where the water tasted bad enough to make us buy bottled water.

The location is fantastic. The family is spacious and well stocked with the essentials. The hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfasts are outstanding. Far exceeded our expectations. The price for the accommodation is very fair for the property.

Booked this up as somewhere for me and my parents , who are visiting me from the UK and we were absolutely overwhelmed by how nice and well kept the apartment was , not only that , but also how welcome we were made to feel , top marks to Trev the owner for taking good care of us and for the brekky which was top dollar too , will Defo be back on the next Pahia trip

Loved this motel. Location excellent. Good sized living room, comfortable big rooms and bathroom. Breakfast was brilliant and made with so much attention (bagel with salmon and cream cheese on day 1 and fab omelette on day 2). Staff extremely kind and accommodating ( we had to move our booking by a day and they did this for us). They also went above and beyond with cleaning and even folded our clothes. Cannot recommend this place enough!
