Really excellent - neat and tidy room, strong shower, plenty of amenities (inc make up remover, which was a nice touch), and brilliantly friendly and helpful staff. I arrived very early due to a wedding (I forewarned!) and was given a great space to get ready. couldn't ask for a better location either.
Not their fault but worth flagging - the windows don't open, which I imagine was a lot during the heatwave, and it's got some quite steep wiggly stairs up; that's flagged on their site, but worth reiterating if your mobility isn't ideal.

I liked the way it had been renovated from an old Tudor building which overlooked Lincoln College, right in the centre of town. I liked the way it seemed to be run by alumni who had lived there during their studies. They were very polite and helpful.
No air conditioning, however, an efficient fan was provided. Situated above a noisy cut through to some major sights.

This place is really cute and in a fantastic location. Rooms are very small, but functional. It feels like a student dorm that they probably use for university students during the academic year, but it works great for adult travelers too. Very convenient stay! Very friendly staff

I loved the location so much, but also the property was kept beautifully. Everything about the place was well maintained and extremely practical. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone. Very reasonable, especially in the center of Oxford.
I loved everything about Turl Street Mitre! I could not recommend it more highly. There was one incidence of Wifi outage at night time, but the lovely location, wonderful staff, and predictable set-up made more than up for this one-time event. :)
