Phaos at Saint John Villas with private heated pool

Excellent villa. Hosts were great arranging transportation both ways. Villa is spacious and lovely. Private pool was perfect temperature and clean. Hosts were very easy to communicate with too. Definitely recommend.

The quality of the property is exceptional the extremely high end fixtures and finishes give the place a very luxurious feel and the owners passion for the property is very clear in everything they say and do. A small local family run business where the focus is on the guests privacy and relaxation.

No complaints the only down was having to leave

The location was perfect. Far away enough from the crowds of Oia but close enough to walk. There should be mention of the steep climb up the hill to get to Oia and the fact that it is quite rural ( ideal for us!).

No teaspoons,no bowls, just one glass tumbler. No toaster as advertised. Breadboard but no bread knife or any sharp knife.. Nearest supermarket is a 15 minute walk. We hired a car so not a problem but might be for some!

The villa was absolutely stunning. Very clean and had everything we needed. The pool is a great size, and is ideally placed for views over the sea. We had a perfect view of the sunset on one night from the balcony which we really enjoyed.

The pool was too cold for us to enjoy at this time of year, which was a real shame. We were hoping it would be a bit warmer so we could enjoy it regardless of the weather but in reality it was too cold to do that, so we hardly used it - not helped by the weather being particularly poor for the few days we were there. Also, whilst the location is key for the sunsets, (which we did catch one night and it was fantastic), the walk up to the main Oia town was very up hill! It felt just a little bit too much of a walk sometimes.
