Exceptional.

The house is spotless, beautiful and comfortable. The views from the balconies and hot tub are breathtaking. The location is fantastic, you are so close to lovely restaurants and markets while still having a relaxing trip. Alma is a wonderful host. She organised transfers for us and gave us a beautiful welcome basket. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt so comfortable in the house. It deserves more than 5 stars.

Beautiful villa with gorgeous caldera view.

The villa was spotless and beautiful. A bottle of wine and a snacks hamper awaited us upon arrival. We had two large water bottles supplied daily. The hot tub was warm, spacious, and we could see the caldera and lovely white buildings from it… we loved it! There were plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. Easy to walk to Oia bus station too. If you rented a car, Kyklos Square public carpark is very close by. Alma, our host, was most helpful. She was responsive with all our requests and was there to meet us upon arrival and helped with our bags. There was daily housekeeping and Alma even did our laundry for free! We wished we could have stayed longer.

The sunset view was obscured by the roof of the building adjacent to our villa. We stayed from 11-14 May. However, we were able to walk outside the villa to another area a few steps away to view the sunset which was not a problem.

Stay HERE in Oia - the BEST!

Stayed here during the off peak season in late November. Pick up was arranged with Alma for 50 Euros. They were flexible with the pick up as I managed to change to an earlier flight and they adjusted the pick up time. As other reviewers hv mentioned, there are steps from the drop off point, so good to get them to arrange the pick up who will also help with the carrying of the suitcases - which is much appreciated, thank you Billy ! (Ambi’s husband). We were greeted by a basket of local snacks & goodies with a bottle of red wine and a bottle of ouzo. We will try to recreate a pasta dish with Ouzo (which we ate in a restaurant in Oia). Kitchenette available with toaster etc. The villa was most lovely - 2 bedrooms with a double bed in each room. We enjoyed the 2 terraces - the first one for our breakfast and the 2nd higher terrace to join the sunset view. The warm jacuzzi was much appreciated especially after our 10k hike from Fira to Oia - it was rather windy but we did it! The sunset is best viewed from the higher terrace in the villa - most lovely, surreal and peaceful. (Fewer tourists as off peak season). The nearest restaurant Fanari (1 min walk) from the villa has a lovely sunset view too . We booked a 6 hr car tour tour around the island on the 2nd day as we had a short stay, this was guided by Gent (also a relative) and it gave a good feel of the island. I had accidentally left a couple of items behind in the car which was retrieved for me later. Thank you ! Overall, it was a wonderful start to our vacation and certainly different from my last visit to Santorini when it was just a half day visit while on a cruise. The service from Ambi, Billy and Gent were wonderful and hospitable and Ambi was most responsive to our WhatsApp queries. Highly recommended !

The location was perfect! Great view of the caldera, the sunset and close to the main points of Oia and many restaurants. Alma was so warm and welcoming, and able to accommodate all of our needs.

fabulous trip to one of the most beautiful places in Europe

Beautiful view in the nicest town in Santorini. Well located, clean, good beds and facilities. Billy and Alma were really helpful with transfers, booking restaurants and organizing tours.

Great place to stay

Outstanding location, nothing was to difficult for the host , he organised all transfers and helped carry suitcases to apartment. Beautiful selections of snacks, cold water and wine available on arrival. Apartment was perfectly cleaned daily with fresh towels and coffee pods refilled daily. Hot tube very relaxing with beautiful view.

Perfect holiday at the villa :)

We were met with warm welcome from Billy at the airport. He helped us with our luggages. Alma was at the villa to greet us on arrival. There was also some snacks and a bottle of Prosecco as welcome present for us. The villa was beautiful, very clean and boasts of scenic views, a hot tub and two viewing decks with lounge chairs and patio dining. The villa has a lovely kitchen/dining/living room open layout, with two separate bedrooms. The kitchen was equipped with what you need to make family dinner. Alma kept the villa tidy, provided us with fresh towels and replenished our coffee pods everyday. We felt very well rested. Because it has a cave house design, the airconditioning unit in the living room was more than enough to keep the bedrooms cool, too. Gen who was our driver on our day tour was very friendly and informative. Both Gen and Billy made sure our mum, who is 70, was always comfortable and well taken cared of during our trips. I highly recommend Ambi Villa to everyone. Their whole team works very well to make your stay memorable.

Very beautiful apartment with awesome views.

Brand new and exceptionally well maintained. View from the apartment was awesome. It has 2 private terraces and a jacuzzi with fantastic views of the caldera. Location is amazing- between the Oia castle and the windmills. Apartment is a classic cave apartment with lovely decor and is Very well stocked with all amenities. Host gave us a welcome bottle of wine, fruits and water. Kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were comfortable and bathroom had good towels and accessories. Apartment was cleaned everyday and the towels were replaced. Alma was a splendid host and Miguel helped us with the bags.

It was so great !! Very friendly and helpfull hosts...Bili was helping with the luggages in the narrow streets and Alma took care of the cleaning like it was her own place. Thank you very much guys !! This beautiful house is in the middle of Oia with a sunset view, hot jacuzzi, and all you need to cook and enjoy. I recommand hundred percent !!

Es una villa Hermosa, limpia, perfectamente decorada, muebles hermosos , trastes, todo lo que necesites para cocina, , refri, estufa, demás , te reciben maravillosamente con una charola de vinos , agua, botana , agua caliente en regadera, muy grande , TV , sala, batas , pantunflas , crema, shampoo, jabón líquido , cobijas, almohadas extras, limpian tu habitación todos los días, jacuzzi maravilloso con una vista increíble, de los poco que están calientes todo el tiempo, tiene 3 terrazas desde donde puedes ver el atardecer , sin gente tapando , en tu propia villa, algo impresionante , Alma y su esposo nos ayudaron con maletas, dejaron entrar antes de la hora y salir más tarde , la vista es sorprendente, Te enamoras ! Oía es súper tranquilo , relajante , precioso , te ayuda a reservar Excel eres restaurantes ! Un lugar de descanso , relajación, para consentirte , vale mucho la pena invertir en esta villa!
