The location and the amenities made this a great stay. The location was ideal for exploring northern Wales and also Shropshire. Hiking Cader Idris was made easy by the close proximity of the house. The local hotel restaurants were excellent too. The house itself was plenty big for our group of seven and the pool table and darts made for some fun nights. The kitchen was perfect for several home cooked meals as well. A perfect stay.
There was nothing we didn't like...the distance for grocery shopping was something to get used to, but we expected that.

The house is beautiful lots of room so you don't feel like you are on top of each other. The views are amazing
My only criticism The midges were a nightmare so bring insect repellent

Pros -
Very spacious property with games room, lots of entertainment with smart tv/ table pool/ darts / ps3. Enough bathrooms and toilets for large groups of people staying, super useful for when you get back from hikes/outings. Surrounding fields/gardens/pond are the best part about the cottage, stunning views at sunrise/sunset. Great getaway if you need a break from city life! Welcome basket upon arrival was appreciated
Cons -
One double bedroom has pipes which make loud noises when the toilet has been flushed, better for adults to sleep in there than toddlers. En suite bathroom could do with better water pressure and another double bedroom had quite a loud/creaky mattress which kept baby up, could have been a bit more cleaner (found quite an amount of dead/alive spiders/cobwebs/dust build up in room corners & table corners/units)
