Strawberry Cottage

Great location near to my friend's home and just up the hill from the village centre. Parking available and very clean, comfy home. Would stay again!

Great Location. It's just a short but tough walk out from Haworth but the train station and shops are closer.

We loved every minute of our stay in Strawberry Cottage. Stepping through the door and finding such thoughtful welcome gifts was the perfect start to the holiday. The cottage is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and has every facility needed for a relaxing break. We loved sitting out in the courtyard for a nice drink in the evening sun, with that view down to Haworth in front of us. the beds are comfortable, the shower is just right and the sofas are (unusually so for a holiday home) very comfortable. The walk to and from Haworth is quite steep, but a taxi costs just £4 which is amazing value for money, and so easy to book over the phone. The drivers we had were all so friendly - as indeed were all of the staff in the pubs, shops and visitor attractions. We loved the parsonage and our walk to Bronte bridge. We took a trip on the steam train and had a brilliant free tour around the various spots associated with the Railway Children. The nearby NT property in Keyleigh was fantastic - and another bargain at just £5,50 for non NT members. We ate out twice in the Fleece Inn and had great food both times. The fish and chip shop opposite the train station has the best fish and batter I have eaten in a long time. All in all we had a warm, friendly Yorkshire welcome everywhere we went. Strawberry Cottage is an absolute gem and we would love to come and stay again. thank you so much for your thoughtful hospitality.

perfect home from home , so welcoming and cosy , lots of added extras making this cottage so welcoming. everything was perfect , plus well thought out extras for the dog, plus Netflix’s and board games kept us entertained when weather was grim ! can’t thank Joanne the host enough, will definitely be staying again . thank you 😊
