Property was ok, there was a couple of wear and tear marks on the carpet in the lounge and in the first bedroom on the left (we took a picture on arrival so we couldn’t be blamed and have our deposit held). Burn holes in the L shaped sofa but the caravan was clean at least.
Caravan is like home from home and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. In a quiet area as well.
The WiFi didn’t work at all so not worth paying the extra cost for it. This has been raised before in reviews and doesn’t seem to of been sorted but payment gets taken.
Deposit is said to be back within seven days. My stay ended 19/10/2025 and I still haven’t got my £100 deposit back despite leaving the property how we found it. Replies from the host since departure have been abysmal.

Its proximity to pleasure beach
It was not deluxe ( maybe 10 years ago) and did not have 2 bathrooms ( 1 toilet, 1 shower with sink)
Dining table was wobbly ( held together with blue roll) and did not seat 8 of us

It was filthy all over mouldy food in the fridge mouldy food in the bin stains on the sofa
Had no contact with the host had to contact booking.com to get my deposit back. Be aware if you book this booking.com take the payment then the host contacts you for a deposit which you send straight to her bank and then don’t get it back from her

Caravan was ideally located near the entrance to the park (& bus stop if required) & was a short drive to everything Blackpool had to offer..Lady who owns it helped with our queries & refunded our deposit within 2 weeks without any prompting. If ever back in Blackpool, I would stay there again. Ideal for the dog too.
Caravan was a bit more basic than I'd expected & only had one shower. I'd mistakenly thought there were 2 as pictures show the same shower but with different doors. It was fine for us, 3 adults & 2 kids for 2 nights.

The van is perfect, the owner isnt!!! It is a good, warm, well equipped van.
POOR communication, had to contact booking.com to get deposit back, ran out of gas and had to sort ourselves as owner didn't answer calls, wouldn't of mentioned this but because we had to wait for a deposit to be returned feel it is justified. We WON'T be returning!

Good location. Would have been a lovely stay if we had hot water, gas, a clean caravan, toilet paper and bed linen but sadly we had none of those things and no response from host throughout our stay.
It was dirty. Clearly not cleaned. Old food in fridge. Cigarette ash in bathroom. No gas. Boiler not working so no hot water. Host uncontactable. Still awaiting a response regarding all of this as it was unacceptable to arrive to caravan like this. I’ve got two very young children and to arrive to a dirty caravan and need to clean etc was just not at all ideal. I sadly booked without reading the reviews. I wish I had. I always give people the benefit of the doubt as I know there could be reasons for all these things but to not be contactable and to leave the caravan in that state for guests is shocking. DO NOT STAY HERE. Booking.com need to remove this property so that other people don’t have the same experience.

The property itself was in a great location with everything you could need either on-site, or offsite within a 10/15 minute drive from the pleasure Beach, plenty for the kids to do, an on-site play park, places to eat, and amusements. Staff were friendly.
When we arrived at the property, it had looked like it had not been cleaned, dishes were left lying on the sink, towels thrown in the cupboards, crumbs of food on the floors, we had to go to Asda and buy bed linen, (which we knew about because it states this isn’t provided) so whilst we were there we picked up some cleaning products and cleaned it once we arrived back at the caravan, communication with the host was a terrible experience, I called two days before to ask some questions, no answer after several tries, tried the day before again no answer, voicemail was left, sent text messages again no replies, sent WhatsApp messages again no reply. The communication and the cleanliness was the only two faults I had found disappointing, other than that, it was a great four nights away with myself and two adults and four children.

I went to the caravan with my wife, my grand child, nephew and our dog and the caravan was already booked. I went to reception to see if we could contact Elaine Leslie, but after a lot of calls and messages, from me, she still hasn't returned my calls or any messages.
I have been scammed out of 494 pounds and the Staff at Haven holiday park Marton Mere, wouldn't help to try and contact this person.
I had to drive about Blackpool for hours trying to get accommodation, it was very difficult, due to having a dog.
I am absolutely raging with this scammer of a woman.
Her caravan is 5 Buckingham.
If anyone knows were this person lives, I would be grateful for the information, as she needs jailed and I need to be reimbursed my money she has stole off me.
Marton Mere, also should be more helpful, in situations like this, as they refused to help in anyway.
I travelled down from Scotland for this mini break and due to Elaine Leslie, it's the worst break I've ever had.
She's a scammer.

It was outside of blackpool quaint and very relaxing you aren't in the middle of all the noise etc. Was a fantastic break and the owner Elaine has been brilliant in every way possible. Only spoke over the phone and via messages but, a lovely lady

The caravan was lovely and well presented.
The communication with the host/owner of the caravan was extremely terrible and really frustrating. They don't reply back to the messages/phone calls/ emails. And having an absolute nightmare chasing up the refund of my deposit. Didn't reply back with the WiFi access either. Extremely terrible communication, by far the worst I have experienced ever. So wouldn't recommend this place to anyone again. Its a shame cos it actually was a nice place to stay and would have came back and recommended to friends and family, but its a definite no now!

Time with my family
The van was super expensive and didn't include passes to the club house which was not made clear that there would be a additional charge of £40 per person for 3 nights .
This meant unless we paid the additional charge we could NOT use the parks facilities..please be aware of this when booking this particular caravan it's best to book a haven caravan direct the passes are then free .
This caravan was made out to be deluxe infact it was nothing special at all just a nice caravan as you would expect the decking is barely worth mentioning its so small , the telephone number supplied is not in use .
Beware giving a deposit too we have had to fight to get ours back 😤.

We were informed that alternative (smaller) accommodation had been organised as the owners caravan was inaccessible. But when we arrived at the holiday park, they had no record of our booking and the owner was unavailable by text, phone and email. After an hour and a half, the security guard took pity on us and arranged alternative accommodation onsite. We were also unable to access the WiFi during our stay as we did not receive a response to our request for instructions or a password.

Location was acceptable as we selected it as it was close to Blackpool for a visit to the lights. The caravan was excellent. Clean, modern, home from home, well equipped with good heating and comfortable beds.
The site was a Haven site and their whole system for 'play passes' is expensive and disorganised. Initially no passes available, then only a swimming pass for one session one day. Luckily the caravan owner advised this might happen and not to buy pass till we knew what we could actually access. the answer was.....not much. If we had picked this site for half term facilities for my Grandson we would have been very disappointed. The caravan and its owner were excellent- a real home from home .

The caravan had not been cleaned properly also there was no bedding after we paid an extra £25 for these facilities. The host was then asked to book us a table at the site for 8 people and had only booked for 2 so our first day of our holiday we spent cleaning, making beds and having no where to eat.
