Very clean apartment and the location was excellent. A stone's through away from the Pleasure Beach and easy access to the tram line. It was also very quiet considering the location.
Advertised as a 2 bedroom apartment but it was, in fact, a one bedroom apartment with a separate bedroom that didn't have direct access to the main apartment (which contained the kitchen, living room areas). This made it difficult as our friends had to lock the main door to the apartment each night, which meant we couldn't access the kitchen or living areas (only one of the keys we were given worked for this area). The bathroom was also separate and also had to be accessed from the main hallway.
The bathroom had no working light so we had to use our phone lights. The man who showed us in to the apartment punched the bathroom light to get it to work but then it stopped again after this. The locks on the doors were also damaged and I struggled to unlock our bedroom door each night to use the bathroom.
By far, the worse thing though was the constant noise from the bedroom window. Something was loose and was banging, whistling and rattling all night every night. As well as this, the mattress had collapsed in our room (obviously due to people sitting on the edge of the bed as there were no other seats). This was not the comfiest nights sleep I've ever had.
