Once arrived and opened the gate your presented with lovely well kept gardens and its the beginnings of a beautiful journey to the front door,once inside it wonderfully blew us away every room stunning with everything we needed and more, absolutly beautiful cottage. sending a huge thanks to the owner for great helpful advice and we loved every single minute of our stay here ..just did not want to go home!! My stay at Broomfield Cottage South Luss in late August was truly lovely. The cottage is very spacious, with more than enough room for two couples. It’s an interesting blend of old and very modern styles, but it felt clean and was well-equipped. The living area was a particular highlight, featuring a long dining table and a cozy sitting area by the fireplace. The location is excellent, offering ample parking and being just a 5-minute walk from Loch Lomond and the central car park

It would have been ideal to have 2 bathrooms, but one (very modern) does the trick.

Lovely cottage with great location

We had a lovely stay at this beauftiful cottage in Luss, the cottage is well decorated and perfect for a short stay. The location is excellent and the garden is lovely. I would recommend staying here!

Unfortunately the shower drain was blocked when we arrived and the shower flooded the bathroom floor (walk-in shower with no shower curtain). We contacted the manager and asked for support with this issue but received no response. It was not possible to use the shower normally and this negatively affected our stay. In future the manager should respond when guests raise concerns/issues and offer a solution.

We absolutely loved our stay!!

The location was perfect! The house and decor was lovely.

The back door doesn’t close properly and doesn’t lock at all. The area felt very safe however. The washing machine was lovely to have, however when it ran there was a bit of a gas smell but it didn’t affect the clothing. The other thing I would say is that people need more toilet tissue or a notice to be prepared to bring/buy some ☺️

Was a little dissatisfied with the total cleanliness of the property particularly the shower cubicle which needs a good clean. Pink bacteria on the shower head and black mould spots are not pleasant. The grout from the tiles in the base of the shower was breaking up. The microwave and air fryer whilst handy needed a quick clean before use.

Fabulous,homely and well appointed cottage in an awesome location.

We liked the size of the property,it was very well maintained and appreciated the extras ie Dishwasher tablets ,condiments and toiletries.We would definitely stay here again .

Would have preferred more towels per person and it would have been an added bonus if a second toilet could be squeezed in somewhere.Also a smart Tv would be good .But these are minor points that would enhance the stay .

lovely stay in Luss

Lovely cottage well located in Luss. Used it to attend a wedding at lodge on loch Lomond which was only a 5 min walk away. Cottage was well equipped and would definitely book again. The host communicated well in the lead up to the stay and key collection and check out was very easy.

Very picturesque, nice bathroom, quiet, but cold and could improve on cleanliness.

The scenery was very nice, lovely little cottage in a nicely kept garden, very picturesque. Very quiet apart from the occasional passing car. Fairly close to the primary school, but can't say how loud it can get because school was out when we went. The bathroom was very nicely done up. I had to call the host because I couldn't find the entrance in the dark, and she was very helpful and friendly.

Both beds had someone's hair in them, and the bathtub also needed a wipe before it was used. Single glazing and the lack of curtains in the living room meant it was mighty cold, and the heating turned itself off by the morning so getting out of bed wasn't pleasant. The kitchen also had a strong smell, possibly gas when the boiler was on.

The location was spot on couldn’t ask for any better, the reclining sofa is really nice adds to the comfort!

The shower soaked the floor and at one point overflowed. The fire places weren’t on and would have warmed us up on a cold rainy nights, but understand why they did not work.

Cottage was central to all local facilities but still very private. It had everything you'd need for a short break & was cosy once you got the heating to the right temperature.

Smell from boiler in the kitchen was overpowering, we left the cooker hood fan on & the French doors in the kitchen open to try to circulate some fresh air. It would be good to have some curtains on the window & the porch doorway in the living room to keep the room cosy. The shower enclosure didn't contain the water from the shower making the tiled floor slippery. Bed was very comfy but very small for a double.

it is such a peaceful, homely cottage. loved the location, the private parking, and the garden was nice spacious and pretty looking. plus point was the ducks were coming into the garden which made my kids happy.

only thing I can think of is if the master bedroom had a king size bed as it is very spacious.

Lovely cottage, very spacious and clean. Garden was lovely too. Location was perfect for us attending a wedding nearby.

The only negative I have is that the bathroom floor gets very wet and slippy when in a shower so we had to use the towels provided to mop the water up leaving us to share one towel for 2 nights.

Clean and comfortable cottage, close to central Luss in a large pretty garden.

very peaceful, quiet location which was only a few minutes walk from Lomond Arms hotel (which was important for me). very comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom with great shower, modern kitchen with access to a small sunny patio for lunch or evening drink, large comfortable lounge, good TV and great Wi-Fi (very important as Luss has very poor mobile reception. I also liked that the village store/cafe was a few minutes walk away so there was no need to cook. A few essentials were in the cupboards so tea/coffee in the morning was easy. This is an extremely clean and uncluttered bungalow with a beautiful garden and was a pleasure to stay in.

These comments are to help improve what is a lovely cottage. Main bedroom: the bed was comfortable, but far too small. the room was huge, so could certainly accommodate at least a king size bed. Not enough mirrors! We were using the cottage as a base for a wedding & there was only one long mirror & the only other one was in the bathroom. more detailed instructions on how to set up the central heating & water heating would be useful 👍

Great location, lovely property, excellent value for money

Lovely large cottage, comfortable, well maintained, facilities were great, the heating was on so it was cosy as the weather was not good. Comfortable beds and lovely enclosed garden so privacy.

We did get a little lost finding the property, it was late and a dark wet night and the sign to the car park area wasn't well lit and the sign for the property is small but once we found it everything else was straight forward getting into the property

A really lovely holiday home which was exceptionally clean and in a great location. The host was in touch before check in and check out, to facilitate smooth entry and exit. The garden was a real asset, and will be fun to enjoy in better weather. Comfy beds and beautifully decorated.

It was missing the ambiance of a real wood burner and the kitchen could have been better equipped to cater for family meals. The kids had to be very careful on the bathroom floor, as very slippy even with a bath mat.

The cottage was lovely and clean. Finished to a good high standard - a home from home. The location in the heart of Luss is perfect for a stroll down to the beach and for the local two hotels and the Village Rest bistro - can recommend this and the local hotels for the food
