We had a lovely time as a family - real fire, rainy walks and the early check in was brilliant :)

Ally very kindly allowed us to check in early which was wonderful. The property was clean and warm on arrival and there was plenty of wood to get a lovely fire on. The kitchen was well equipped and it was very clean. Plenty of clean towels and throws and cushions and pillows.

A lovely, cosy stay in a perfect location — relaxing, comfortable and really well thought out.

Really cosy and comfortable with a lovely log fire and a cottage-like feel. Spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, including games, books, TVs and a PlayStation. Nice little touches like fresh milk, tea and coffee. Perfect location for a relaxing, Christmassy break with great views and wee shops nearby.

The bed felt a bit small for us, but that’s only because we’re used to a bigger one at home and it was still comfortable. The shower pressure wasn’t great, but it did the job.

Warm and Welcoming (with a couple minor issues)

Very comfortable. Warm and welcoming. Good facilities. Amazing location. Host let us check in hours early so we could get ready for a wedding.

WiFi didn't work and there's no signal for phones or 4G which was inconvenient, especially as we were trying to coordinate with other wedding guests and look for directions to wedding venue. Some lights either didn't work or the switches were impossible to find - e.g. kitchen and hallway.

Good location but there probably is better accommodation for the money

Location is good, easy parking , clean

Apart from kitchen and bathroom , cottage is tired and in need of refurb.. bedrooms very basic. Linen clean but not ironed. Boiler keeps going off and we did not have any WiFi. I tried resetting the router but no good.

A cozy house in the pretty village of Luss. Nicely decorated and convenient, very well equipped for cooking and doing laundry. We enjoyed very much!

Great stay from start to finish

It was lovely. Had everything you could possibly need. Cozy & spotlessly clean. Quiet but close to shops & hotel. Tastefully decorated with quality furnishings. Beds were very comfortable. Will definitely recommend.

Amazing property, location is stunning and the hosts were accomodating and helpful

Gorgeous cottage, had everything we needed. Hosts went over and above all expectations to look after us, including returning an item that had been left. Genuinely amazing and caring hosts and I would visit again. Location was fantastic - 2 minutes to everything.

Quiet break in a lovely setting

Lovely little cottage in the middle of Luss. Everything you need to dine in if you with and within easy reach of places to eat out. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for dining and relaxing

The toilet was downstairs and almost every stair was noisy

Beautiful house in beautiful Luss Village

This property was as pretty as Luss Village itself, with flowerbed in front, and the interior was clean and well decorated for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The house was well equipped, and the washer-dryer actually dried my clothes. It was a good decision to stay in Luss Village as we could enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful village in the evening.

Family trip on the road

A lovely cozy, large, spacious, clean house with everything you need (including an outside space and a reserved parking) nestled in the timeless charm of the village of Luss, on Loch Lomond. Ally, the owner, is not physically present but is always available if needed.

Lovely cosy rental

This was a house, which we hadn't expected but were pleased to find, when we walked in. It was clean, everything we needed and expected was there. I really can't fault the place in any way. If we hadn't been scheduled to be at another stage in our road trip, we would happily have stayed longer.

Clean, comfort and easy-going conversation of the host. House was warm and cozy. Location is excellent!

For a large family-size car parking can be problematic, turn to park place is narrow. Not to say anything negative about the host. It is simple the fact. Keep this in mind. But, anyway - there is public parking 3 minutes from home - that is also cheap overnight

Nice cottage but underwhelming

I liked how close to the main street the property was. I also liked the space provided and that we each had our own bed. The bathroom was also nice with a good shower.

The property was hard to find. We had to call the owner to get directions from her because we could not find it. Parking is a bit tight. The general location shown on the listing is much closer to the water than the actual location. The beds were not very comfortable and there was no hair dryer to be found even though it was listed in the booking info.

Lovely Luss, but poor experience

Luss was lovely as always, and the cottage is in a good location. Own parking was a bonus.

The cottage was freezing cold when we arrived. It was -1 outside. There was an instruction to push a red button on boiler, which we did before we headed out for dinner. When we returned, the cottage was even colder. We had to keep our coats on and we could see our breath. I messaged the host. She said a local woman managed the cottage for her. The host apparently messaged the woman, but no-one appeared. We kept pushing the red button, but the boiler kept going on/off. We eventually found logs for the open fire, but no fire lighters were provided. We found a small fan heater too, but it barely let out any heat. Thoroughly frozen and miserable, we decided to go to bed. We were so cold, even in jumpers and scarves etc. We barely slept. The upstairs radiators rattled, dripped and barely heated up. They desperately need to be bled. The host just kept telling us to push the red button. Had I known that the heating was below standard, I would never have booked the cottage on one of the coldest nights of the year. The very least the host could've done is offer us a partial refund, but that never happened. With a fair bit of TLC, the cottage could be lovely.
