Comfy and cosy in a beautiful location

The lodge had everything we needed. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and cosy. The location right on the Loch was amazing.

Stunning remote location, well equipped and perfect for a family stay.

Very well equipped and stunning location on the edge of the loch. The local pub was nice for food and cosy fireplace. The walks nearby were perfect for our family and dog. We had a very relaxing time, taking in the beautiful location. It is very remote so expect to have to travel min 15 minutes by car to a store but if you know this then it's fine. Owner was very helpful and communicative. Directions and instructions were all very helpful. Lodge was well equipped with everything for the kitchen, plus games, DVDs and books. They were able to accommodate our dog which was perfect for the location. I loved the location, I would consider buying a place there myself if it wasn't 9 hours drive away!

Cleaners hadn't cleaned when we arrived as we were a bit early, but then they were done an hour or so later and not sure they did a brilliant job as it was still a bit dusty, although sheets etc were clean so didn't feel too uncomfortable. Would have been useful to have some local numbers / map for what's on nearby and what to do in the area e.g. water taxi / nearest store, whether there are any takeaways that deliver there (possible not as it is remote but we weren't sure!)

Lovely end to an amazing trip

Location was perfect. Was quiet and right on the base of Ben Lomond. Watersports also nearby and next to a nice pub that did good food. Perfect end to our trip around Scotland.
