Lovely cottage, good location, a Christmas must book location!

Nice little cottage, comfortable, quiet and the host was great. Everything you'd expect, cooking, washing facilities, all clean and modern. Beautiful fire, great in winter.

There's quite a few other cottages that share the drive and it can get a little difficult to get in and out sometimes. (I think we just got unlucky with this).

What a wonderful find. Great location. 15 minute walk to Luss. 12 minute drive to Balloch with lovely pubs and walks. Loved the cottage as well with its lovely facilities. Beautiful views to wake up to if the loch across the road. Even woke up to a winter wonderland scene of snow which was perfect. Fire in the lounge lovely. Yes you do have buy your own wood etc but you do with most rental properties now. Hearing system fantastic and easy to use. No issue in finding the property if you do you research before arriving. Look on google maps. Highly recommend staying here.

Nothing I say that I didn’t like ,maybe just a few suggestions Maybe a sign at the back of cottage entrance that it’s north cottage as sat nav took in the back before we could see the front and didn’t think that was the door , & blankets or throw on sofa as leather can be cold

Disappointing

The cottage was ok the view was amazing the flowing stream was beautiful and the little Robin and owls were a blessing

The host was not readily available made the minimum effort with us and our last request for late departure went ignored the towels were old and the pillows had a stale smell cobwebs all over the windows the upstairs bed was very uncomfortable and mattress needs replacing. Would not return on the basis of our lack of communication from the host which was simply unacceptable... it was very expensive for what was on offer very disappointing.

Attention needed for a few things to make it a lovely stay

The location was amazing, a 10 minute walk into Luss. The house generally was clean and comfortable.

A few things needed attention. The bed was extremely hard, not a proper mattress which also didn’t fit the base properly. The pillows were thin so very uncomfortable and the towels should be replaced. Unfortunately we were a group of 4 and there were not enough wine glasses, plus 1 tea towel supplied for a house with no dishwasher.

We stayed in the lovely little cottage for the first two nights of our Scottish trip and felt it was a great start.

It was a delightful cottage in an exceptional location, with Loch Lomond right across the lane and the lovely village of Luss very close.

Lovely

We were very comfortable in the cottage! Its a really cool old building with a lovely garden and fantastic views. It was the perfect base for exploring Luss, loch lomand and glasgow. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinners in the evening and there were lots of places to eat nearby too.

Cozy cottage with views of the lake

Beautiful views of the lake from the downstairs bedroom and living room, as well as the garden. Spacious second bedroom upstair with its own bathroom. Nice kitchen facilities. Parking in the back of the house. Walkable to the quaint little village of Nuss. Great to have the fireplace!

Towels old & hard Spiders downstairs / bathroom bedroom Nowhere to hang clothes - wardrobe downstairs full of storage items No way could 4 adult sit around kitchen table to eat meals If you are a large person nearly impossible to fit in shower pod upstairs Property hadn’t been cleaned properly for some time - grubby

Idyllic place to stay

The view of Loch Lomond from the cottage was amazing and it was so quiet. The cottage itself was perfect in every way. The bedroom downstairs was great for my partner who struggles with stairs and the bedroom upstairs was gorgeous and had its own en suite.

Could do with some more utensils in the kitchen for when you are cooking a full breakfast as hard to cook an egg with nothing to pick it up with

Lovely cottage in a great location.

Great location, very close to the lovely little village of Luss. The cottage was very pretty with a beautiful view of Loch Lomond from the living room window. Beds were comfy. We really enjoyed our stay.

The downstairs shower/bath needs a good clean, the grout between the tiles was filthy. Kitchen cupboards and plates a bit dirty. There are no hooks for hand towels or toilet rolls in either bathrooms. On our day of departure, the gardening contractors walked past our window in the front garden at 8:15am. They mowed the lawn, strimmed and did the leaf blowing all while we were there. We understand that may have been a convenient time for them but we found it a bit intrusive.

Relaxing stay surrounded by nature.

The cottage was really lovely. We loved the view from the front garden, every morning we sat outside to have breakfast and listened to the birds. We all have a good comfortable sleep and a relaxing stay. The cottage was nice and clean and well equipped. Luss is such a lovely village to explore, we also enjoyed some evening walks by the river. Will definitely come back again 😊

Quaint little cottage in loch lomand, close to many attractions in the area. Perfect stop off on the way north. Pretty views

The house is separated from the water by a main road. There isn't easy access to the loch.. The mattress is old, with no support, which is very uncomfortable

Beautiful cottage in a great location

Absolutely beautiful cottage set in a perfect location. A little difficult to find, we had to stop and ask someone after several failed attempts, perhaps the sign could be a bit clearer. Once you arrive though you will forget all that as the cottage is beautiful and very well equipped. A perfect base for exploring the local area or as a scenic stopover en route to the highlands as we did.

Difficult to find, more obvious signage or instructions would have been helpful.

Pas mal tout! Superbe cottage, typique, bien aménagé, très bien situé à quelques minutes de Luss, tranquille. Belle court avant.

Comme les chambres sont grandes, des lits King ou Queen auraient été vraiment bien. Le matelas de la chambre du rez-de-chaussée était trop dur à mon goût. Une table plus grande pour manger dehors aurait été super. Ceci étant dit, tout était vraiment très bien.
