Terrible experience — avoid at all costs

Nice front desk lady

Extremely dirty rooms, bugs inside the sheets. Cold showers, furniture that is falling apart.

Warm shower, comfortable bed and close to WHW

Right next to hotel so perfect for food and drinks. On the WHW route so didn’t have to stray far from the path to get to it. Dog friendly. Bed comfortable. Host friendly and helpful. Just a quick evening stop over on our WHW adventure so a warm shower and comfortable bed was welcomed.

No tea/coffee facilities in room. Pretty thin walls so could hear everything. Pricy for what it is but understandable with location and captive market.

Quick overnight, good alternative if hotel is full.

It was on the WHW. It was clean. It was close to a pub for a meal. The shower was good.

It was very small for 3 people, considering the price paid. Also the top window needs to blacked out because the car park light is nearby. Lace curtains and blackout curtains would be a better solution than the metal blinds - the room has no privacy. One can hear people in the next door room. There is no shelving space. The second bedlamp is on the floor because there is no space for a bedside table.

Fandabidozi

I was upgrade from bunks to a king bed and it was truly needed after the walk I had done. The overall customer service was amazing. Euan couldn’t have been more helpful, he even offered to have dinner waiting for me as he know I would miss the pub kitchen closing time. The room was a perfect size and very clean and tidy. The shower was most needed and good size for me to wash away the days walking. All in all a very pleasant place to stay.

Tbh there was nothing I didn’t like. Felt very homely.

Too expensive for what it is

Beds were comfortable. It was convenient to have an ensuite shower. Close to the access to the Loch.

The room is described as small. IT IS TINY! We had a medium-sized rucksack each and with the entrance and bathroom door in the way there was only room for one bag in the bedroom. We had to put the other one in the bathroom or outside to be able to access them easily. Also the ladder for the top bunk bed is leaning against the beds and is not fixed. This nearly led to an accident. For the price we paid we expected more space to live in.

Goed gelegen en schoon

De Lodge was compact, maar vrijwel compleet en schoon. Vooraf heldere instructies gekregen, werkte perfect. Snelle reactie op vragen. Makkelijk dicht bij restaurant en kleine shop, perfect gelegen aan WHW.

Het enige dat ik miste was een waterkoker, al zou ik niet weten waar ze die kwijt kunnen.
