Fine for one night stay

Plenty of parking space. Excellent communication from owner. Good bathroom facilities.

Tea & coffee making facilities on ground floor, room on second floor! Otherwise this property fine for my one-night stay.

Simple comfort close to the city

Host was very kind and helpful. Easy to get to from the train station and city centre. Place was quiet and the room was comfortable. There were communal areas that would be nice for groups

Close to centre of Worcester

Generally quite scruffy, only 1 mug provided, smallest fridge we've ever seen, rubbish under the bed. Toilet didn't empty properly on flushing - owner did offer to get plumber out, but we declined as there was another toilet near our room. However, next morning, found that shower didn't work. Requested some refund & owner asked for our bank details, but we never received anything

Nice overnight stay

Very clean and comfortable room. Nice modern shower room. Off street free parking. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Check in very easy. Walking distance of town centre.

Would have liked a TV in room. Someone lit fire in garden which burnt all night so had to close all windows as the room got very smokey.

Great location, cosy, comfortable and good value for money.

Attending a walking cricket tournament at the County club ground, so ideal location. Small but cosy single room. Parking available on drive. Easy contactless access to property and room. Clean and all essential amenities provided. Good value for money.

It was a sweltering day and evening and someone nearby had lit a slow burning fire that produced smoke which filled the room with the window open.

perfect...with one exception.

I really liked this accommodation (with one caveat). The layout and certain facilities are somewhat quirky, as is some of the artwork on the walls - that just made things more interesting; we enjoyed it! The room was comfortable (with one caveat), spacious, and generally lovely. Bathroom was good, communication all good!

Okay, that caveat: our experience was almost totalled by the diaphanous, transparent, none light blocking curtains. A very bright and early dawn had us awake from about 4am, cursing profusely, and feeling exhausted! I believe this issue has been pointed out in at least one other review. If the owners got this one aspect sorted, I'd say the place is perfect for a brief stay in Worcester. As is, be prepared to get blasted into wakefulness at an ungodly hour if the dawn happens to be a sunny, early one.

Disappointed

The shower, hot water.

We had no one to welcome us. The noise on the road. The uncomfortable mattress.Didnt get any sleep at all. The room not very clean. Had one cup, and a glass to share between two. And the view. We did ask for a mountain view, but there isn't any mountains!

Ensuite was clean and functional.

The room and ensuite was clean and comfortable. The fan was great as it was extremely hot and one needed some airflow.

The property is a little outdated and smelled old, the entrance was dark and did not give you a vibe that you wanted to spend time there. The room I stayed in was on the side of the main road, it was very hot and the window did not open wide enough to get fresh air.

Ok in general and well located. Nice and clean.

Size of room and bathroom was good. Shared shower was good. Property was very well cleaned. Mini fridge was a nice touch.

Odd conversion of a family home into guest house. We entered through what used to be a garage. Very squeaky floor and door to our room, which made lots of noise in the night. Shared bathroom was needed by all guests at the same time, so we had to queue.

Clean, comfortable and convenient

Comfortable bed, very clean, convenient location for the city and a lovely view across the watermeadows from rooms with a 'garden view'. Although the road in front is quite busy, the rooms at the back (garden view) are quiet. There is a large fridge freezer available downstairs for all guests to use. Quick response to my questions.

A desk lamp would be useful for working.

Would book again!

The room was very clean and beautifully decorated, the bed was comfortable and the back garden view was an unexpected bonus. The host was easy to reach and responded quickly when I had some questions. She was kind and helpful. Lots of lovely touches in the homestay. The room was warm too. I had a lovely stay and would definitely book again.

It was slightly difficult to find the building, and I kept driving past it.

Lovely base for work or visiting Worcester or Malvern

I really liked my room. it was really spacious, light and airy. The bed was super comfy. Loved the fact there was a little dressing room between bedroom and bathroom. bathroom was nice and shower nice and big.

It suited my needs and was more than I was expecting.

I booked this location as it appeared to be good value at £46.00. It wasn't.

The owner did respond as soon as I rang to ask for the door code. The room had a functioning kettle and fridge.

The duvet was a single and so did not fully cover the bed. The duvet needed to be wider. The pillows were floppy. The combination of both these shortfalls meant I had a bad night. No milk sachets. ( You get those in Premier Inn and they last for ages so could have been left) No TV. Standards of cleanliness of the corridor outside the room were poor. There was a very large cobweb spun across the rear fire door which did not look newly done. That then makes you uncomfortable about the cleanliness of the towels. They are likely to have been absolutely fine, but cobwebs anywhere in anywhere one books always leads to an element of doubt.

Great place to stay - Malvern Room

Excellent room (Malvern Room) all modern fresh comfy bed good bathroom. Tea coffee plus orange juice and brioche. Great value. Free parking. Highly recommed

Chandelier is way too much and quite nearly a hazard as someone might bang their head on it, as its quite big

Probably wouldn’t do it again and will be very cautious of any self check-in or airBnB arrangement

The room that was photographed and advertised and booked had a double bed and a view across to the Cathedral. But when I arrived this room was not available. No one was present at the property and it was a self-check in. I used instead a smaller room looking out on a busy road. I think this mishap would be worth offering me a discount as the room that I booked was not available to me

Passable

It was nice and quiet.

The shared toilet was disappointing, I traveled for work and I had to leave at a certain time, someone was using the shower and I had to wait 20 minutes. Apparently the you are not allowed to watch tv to avoid any noise. It’s a bit outdated.

Nice big room comfortable bed

No tv. No handbasin in room , had to use a communal bathroom shared between three double rooms on the floor below if wanting to wash hands or get water. It was not the proprietors fault but if you did not have car transport tge bus service was only 4 times a day ,non existent at weekends. Left after 2 nights at age 85 could not .put up with the constant need to go up and down to bathroomvery disappointing Certainly not a good choice for infirm or elderly visitors but in fairness I believe they have two single room on the ground floor

I liked the view out the window and Jennifer was a nice host

I was expecting a private room but it did not really feel private because the walls were really thin and the crack under the door was rather big, which resulted in me hearing the person in the room next to me snoring at night etc (just like in a shared bedroom) and I knew that she could hear everything I was doing as well. Furthermore the floor makes loud noises everytime the person in the other room stands up/walks…
