Very clean apartment
The building is very quiet. A bit of noise from the high street and especially at night, but to be expected with it being in the town centre. Very comfortable bed, great location with all the stores and train station nearby. Clean apartment and friendly staff. Everything appeared to be new in the apartment. Over all a very pleasant stay but with the washing machine being outside of the apartment, I would sadly not stay again. Nothing in the listing is mentioned about the communal washing machine.
The biggest problem for me was the advertised washing machine was a communal washing machine in a laundry room on a different floor. I never knew until I arrived. The washing machine was shared with 4 other apartments. Twice I went to use the washing machine and it was occupied. Including my last day there (the other residents don’t collect their clothes when the load has ended) which resulted in me having to take all my dirty clothes with me the day I checked out and travel back home with them. The lights in the hallways have motion sensors. They were flashing constantly like it was a disco night club. I don’t know why anyone would install such lights inside an apartment!! Even just walking around in the living room would set the lights off in the hallway. The noisy street cleaner machine starts at 6:00 AM during the week and at 5:20 AM on Sundays. No elevator which was a bit of a challenge with all my luggage. A bathroom shelf in the bathroom would have been nice. The apartment is a bit small but was fine for me only. There are no curtains to block out the sunlight in the bedroom. It was very hard to open the window in the bedroom with the massive heavy bed being in the way and the windows being old.
