Awful

Property was filthy, tried to contact owner to no avail. Left on the first day after booking two nights and only offered a £42 refund for a £160 room. Absolutely no help from the hosts at all. Avoid

Shower was full of black mould, carpets hadn’t been cleaned as there was dirty tissues down the side of the bed. Fridge was absolutely filthy on the top. Bed was broken and dipped in the middle causing it to be too uncomfortable to sleep on. Headboard was thick with dust. Pillows were stained. Inside of the fridge was dirty

Good location, needs updating

Location was perfect for what we needed.

The photos don’t show how dated the property is. There are stains on the carpets, marks over all the walls. It isn’t necessarily dirty; just needs to be brought up to a standard you can see it once was. Photos showed would have a sofa and the flat we were allocated didn’t so was nowhere to sit and relax apart from the bedrooms.

It was filthy with stained walls and carpets. Broken shower door. Rips in the sofa. Blinds missing slats, a front door that looked like it had been kicked in and filled in and a filthy bathroom.

Property wasn’t for us, no settee to relax and watch tv even though photos show one? Not very clean, carpets throughout stained, only 3 dining chairs, one broke(leg). Some kitchen utensils missing, grill pan had not been cleaned, full of fat. Toilet seat loose. Sorry would not recommend staying here, money we paid was too much, could have got a clean comfy hotel room cheaper!!!

Very outdated in need of repair ( carpets / lino stained and with burn marks, blinds broke) some of the windows didnt shut / lock , no ironing board , no fan rooms exceptional hot , the street next to the bedrooms is noisy all night once window open. Not value for money at the state it is in at present

Dirty, unkept and poor value for money FLAT

We liked the very early check out time as it meant that, we didn't have to spend anymore time than needed as the FLAT is Filthy to the extent of requiring a deep clean and in a serious need of overhaul and redecoration. This establishment is well, well below the standards for booking.com to say the least.

Quiet location within 10 minutes walk of town centre. Good parking. Comfy double bed. Common parts reasonable. Top flat number 5.

Shower room cramped, but would have been acceptable if clean. Floor, skirting boards, quadrant shower door runners all VERY grimy and dusty. Wall by sink dirty. Toilet lid missing. Kitchen fridge freezer needs replacing. Patched up plastic stool and 3 v. Uncomfy chairs and compromised head height over kitchen discourage spending time there. Compromised headroom in both bedrooms. Overall impression, created to max profit, but too small for 2 bedrooms.

Bathroom was not clean, it needs deep cleaning. Carpets dirty and kitchen isn’t equipped enough-needs more cutlery and mugs etc. No mattress cover and pillows had not pillow protection either. Also could do with more pillows.

Bed was comfortable

Felt like a university flat. The property was not very clean especially the bathroom. There were 4 of us and only 2 cups for us to use. Also we had to check out by 9.30am

Fantastic location with free parking.

Location was perfect. Parking ideal. Great communication from the host. WiFi was excellent. Value for money spot on.

The apartment is great it just lacks everyday items such as cereal bowls. I will stay again and bring my own. Pillows also need replacing. Minor improvements needed. It's a great apartment block.

Not what I expected.

I think for what we paid it was awful. It wasn’t clean the carpets were stained and dirty it hadn’t been hoovered before we arrived. The toilet was dirty and shower. And also didn’t look like it was advertised there was 3 adults and a child staying and no sofa or anywhere to sit other than beds we had to sleep in. I honestly would not go back and I am now trying to get my money back but no body is replying to me.

The apartment great location but terrible standard.

Location brilliant and easy access key code.

The place has gone down in standard from when I stayed 2 years ago. The beds were stained there was rubbish, cans and dust behind beds. No kitchen utensils, cups or anything to cook. Shower door hanging off and burn mark on bathroom floor. Standard has gone from a comfortable 3.5 possible 4 to a 1 or 2.

The apartment seemed a bit tired, doors hanging off cupboards, needed cleaning and bits of painting. I’ve stayed in several of these flats and this one was the most tired. The radiator didn’t work in the main bedroom.

Very disappointing, beds and seating area unacceptable

The mattresses were old and uncomfortable, the settee was ripped right down the middle of the seat we would not sit on it, exposed pipes next to kitchen table, extension leads in front of fridge a tripping hazard ⚠️. Overall very disappointed as pictures did not show extent of wear on in the bedroom and furniture. Will not return.

Comfortable Place to Stay with Just a Few Minor Gripes

The location was great for us to access the town centre and attend the events we were going to. The parking was a definite attraction for us and motivated us to book this accomodation. Clean and tidy. Lots of pans, mainly small. Good shower. Giant comfortable bed. We felt secure.

The lighting immediately outside the door to the appartment wasn't working and the keys did not easily go into the locks which gave us some initial anxiety. When we arrived the window in the living room/kitchen had blown or been left wide open and rain had come in onto the table. The TV remote had got wet but luckily still worked. There were no forks in the cutlery and no tin opener. No baking tray (for pizza for example) and only 2 dinner plates and although lots of wine glasses, no tumblers for juices etc.

Good location but disappointing accommodation

The property was very small. There was mould on top of the fridge and it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned properly for a long time. The shower screen was broken and the sofa cushion had split. Pictures online weren’t representative of the apartment we had. Disappointing as we paid a considerable amount of money.

Worse place I have ever booked never again

Where to start, we arrived after asking for parking and when we got there car park was full (converted rear garden). We drove round the maze of 1 way streets all with permit parking or double yellows. We contacted the property and booking.com to ask for help only after 45mins we got back and a car had been moved. Which is strange when we reserved parking. The key box one of four which didn't have numbers to let you know which. Got into the third floor room and wow its tiny someone was very creative with a fisheye lens. The living room/ kitchen was lacking no dining table as pictured and implied/ cutlery well lack of it 1 fork, 2 spoons, 3 teaspoons and 4 knives. The wall have chunks of food that hadn't been clean off and food debris left on the worktop. Half a pint of milk was left in the fridge. The bathroom had urine stained vinyl/ rusty bathroom cabinet with the towel holder inside as it had fell off. What look like toothpaste all around the sink and wall. A repaired hole in the roof form the original light I guess. The bedroom had two singles wedged together for the double. The window had a full handprint in grease. The eaves made a small room even smaller if your 6ft ish the eaves are a problem around the bed you will hit your head navigating it. The same issue in the living area although more on a side you don't need to go near. The windows had cobwebs and dead creatures everywhere. We left the property after 40 mins feeling grotty from being in there. We told booking.com we were not staying there and forked out £240 for another property to go to which was spot on. I wouldn't stay at this location if you paid me too. The property is meant to be professionally cleaned, I wonder by who? A blind cleaner I would guess or a ghost. Look at the reviews and the ratings it should be taken of booking.com. The room given to us also was not on the 40pics advertised.

The convenient location was the sole reason I would give this property a good response. It is a stroll to the city centre with lots of places nearby and easy to get to on foot.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at this apartment for a two-week rental period, and I must say, it was an absolute nightmare. The only saving grace was its location, which was the sole reason for giving it a single good comment. Upon entering the apartment, we were greeted by cobwebs that seemed to have taken residence in every nook and cranny. It was as if the cleaning crew hadn't visited this place in years. The walls, which were supposed to provide a clean and welcoming environment, were instead adorned with snot and water stains and just dirt that left us feeling disgusted and repulsed. Hoping to rectify the situation, my partner left to purchase cleaning products to tackle the mess ourselves. We scrubbed tirelessly, desperately trying to restore some semblance of cleanliness, but it felt like a never-ending battle. The dirt on the door frames and walls was deeply ingrained, making it apparent that proper maintenance and regular cleaning had been severely neglected. To add insult to injury, we discovered that the washing machine, an essential amenity for any extended stay, was completely broken. We promptly reported the issue, requesting immediate repair, but our plea fell on deaf ears. Despite several reminders and assurances, the problem was never resolved during our stay, leaving us without the means to clean our clothes adequately. The lack of responsiveness from the management regarding the broken washing machine was highly disappointing. It demonstrated a complete disregard for the comfort and well-being of their guests. In a situation where a basic amenity was non-functional, their negligence was simply inexcusable. Overall, my stay at this apartment was abhorrent. The unsanitary conditions, with cobwebs and snot stains aplenty, were beyond what anyone should have to endure. The broken washing machine, coupled with the management's lack of urgency and incompetence, only added to our stress.
