Gorgeous spot in kilronan

Beautiful home in the main town of the island. Very comfortable, beautifully furnished with every possible convenience and stunning views. Alison was extremely accommodating and great to deal with. The perfect base to explore the very charming aran isalnds.

Everything you need to enjoy what is Inismor 😊

Absolutely everything… no faults at all. Alison managed to be a pure lady as well as giving us the accommodation that gave us the ability to have a fantastic break. Personal note to Alison…. You are doing everything right and see you in the Summer if not before

Alison was a great host - after the initial contact with the drop box codes she sent us a welcome message with a list of everyday essentials for breakfast. She sourced two egg cups for us within an hour of our asking and on the day of our departure she volunteered to drive our luggage down to the ferry as it was raining - The cottage was very well equipped, , spotlessly clean and in a lovely location (beside a good pub/ restaurant) - 5 stars all round

I felt the initial message could have been more welcoming, " the keys will be in the drop box at 4pm" - maybe add a simple cead mile failte at the top and it would have read much better. But everything after that was first class

Fantastic trip to Inis Mór in Sep 2025

We loved our 3 day trip to Inis Mór. Alison's 2 bed chalet was perfect, it was clean, cosy, warm and in a fantastic location being 3mins walk from Joe Watty's pub and restaurant and 10min walk to the village and the Port. We did a 'Hop on Hop Off' day tour with John, he was a great guide and the next day we hired ebikes from Michael (John's friend) and toured the Island visiting the famous 'Wormhole' among other places, he delivered the bikes to our accommodation and collected them, amazing service. We'll definitely be back. X

I'm trying to think of something..... the Spar closed very early at 6pm ..... that's my only complaint

Beautiful 2 bed accomodation in a fabulous location

Such a lovely stay in a fabulous accommodation, bedrooms were like staying in a hotel, really lovely decor, extremely comfy beds, perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids, host couldnt have been more helpful, met us with keys, showed us around and gave great information, little extras were really appreciated, netflix and amazon prime was available on tv also, would highly recommend this accomodation

Perfect, a slowed down pace of life

This is just perfect to just head away , relax and enjoy this beautiful Island and it’s lovely people, our bags were taken from pier and dropped to house even,everything was perfect, chat to the locals and go off track when going around the island, a very special place

The perfect stay - the house was so lovely, very clean and Alison couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. Location-wise the house was perfect, within walking distance to everywhere and a great location for going on cycles etc. Could not recommend more and will most definitely be back.

Couldn’t have been better!

The cottage was fabulous, had everything we needed, it was only ten mins walk from the harbour and the perfect location with lovely views. More than anything, Alison was an incredible host and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Will definitely be rebooking this place when we come back!

It was such a beautiful and peaceful stay on the island. We have everything right on our doorsteps and all necessities in the home. The owner messaged to inform of what's opened on the island while leaving a beautiful home made brown bread and treats to enjoy. A very informative guest book with all the island has to offer ! I would advise this stay to anyone travelling to the island and can't wait to book my next trip back !

Fabulous relaxing stay. Loads to see and do.

The location was great and near the village and Joe Wattys, Alison very kindly had supplied breakfast, brown bread, eggs milk , snacks and bottle of wine. Very welcoming, the house was spacious and had all the comforts of home. Can’t wait to return.

Only that we didn’t book to stay longer, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back .

Ideal base to explore the island, would highly recommend.

Location is perfect, down a quiet country lane with stunning views but only about 10 minutes walk from the ferry and 1 minute walk from the best pub on the island. Beds are super comfortable, the place was spotless and it had everything you needed for a few nights stay. The arrival gifts of homemade bread, milk, eggs, cookies, crisps and wine was very welcome. We had lovely weather but if it did rain the house has Netflix or a cupboard filled with board games, books, even buckets and spades for the kids. We liked it that much we are planning on returning later in the year.

Old caravan in the garden that blocks some of the view but that’s nitpicking.

Everything was exceptional for our stay! Alison was simply a wonderful host and the Chalet Home was exceptional in every way; location, comfort with plenty of room for our party of three, ease of use, and even a terrific bottle of wine and assorted snack items in the kitchen upon our arrival. This home is less than a 1-minute walk to a great restaurant/pub and only a few minutes walk to the Kilronan post office and small village center.

Some snacks and a bottle of wine were available on arrival. The chalet was roomy and well equipped, especially considering it was priced comparable to the nearby glamping pods.
