Amazing experience!

It was we located and very comfortable. The highlight was how welcoming and hospitable the owners were. They took care of my mom and I as if we were family and it was such a nice feeling and experience. Carmel made us homemade pie to go and it was amazingly delicious. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We hope to return again soon.

Martin and Carmen are wonderful hosts. Bed was great. If I am ever in Doolin again I would stay there.

It's setting is like the Irish countryside, farm living. If that isn't your style then go pay for that.

Cosy stay full of character

Carmel and Martin were lovely and welcoming. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a delightful view of the surrounding countryside - featuring sheep! Breakfast was delicious and we had a great time chatting with Martin about all things. Would have loved to stay longer!

A highlight on our roadtrip.

The hosts were really friendly and courteous. They gave us plenty of information, insider tips for Doolin/Cliffs of Moher and great stories. Breakfast was delicious.

A loving place to relax

It seems like home. Warm and cozy, the room had everything needed for a one night stop. We slept like angels even with a storm outside. The breakfast was homemade and cheerfull and the company was well-mannered and pleasant.

Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great, nothing was too much trouble and poached eggs to order were great thank you, :-) Sheep were every friendly!

Fabulous Irish hospitality!

Carmel and Martin were delightful — wonderful hosts! My kids loved being greeted by the sheep in true Irish fashion. The room was an ideal fit for us with a double and two twin beds. It was beautifully furnished and prepared. Breakfasts were delicious and my husband was the brave one who enjoyed Carmel’s homemade black and white pudding. Martin was especially helpful recommending a local site where we got to see a sheep dog herding demonstration and great restaurants.

Irish summer weather was less than ideal. Pouring rain, very windy and foggy and comical videos of us trying to see the Cliffs of Moher. Oh, well!

Best stay in Ireland to date! Quiet and comfortable. Carmel and Martin make you feel at home and have loads of information and stories. Breakfast is fabulous, awesome sleep awesome hosts. Enjoyed two amazing nights here. Highly recommend with 11 stars!

Lovely warm and friendly hosts If you want the true Irish experience this is the place to stay.

A true Irish welcome from Peter and Carmel. Both very friendly and also helpful with their local knowledge of places to visit. Nothing was too much trouble. Even the 3 lambs gave you a friendly welcome each time we parked our car! Room had large, very comfortable bed with sea view of Cliffs. Facilities second to none. Breakfast very good and chats with Peter at the breakfast table were great. Thank you so much both of you. If we are ever in your neck of the woods again we will not hesitate to get in touch. You are one in a Million.

Mini farm

The farm environment was unique. Three baby lambs met us when we arrived. The hosts Carmel and Martin are outgoing salt-of-the-earth. We enjoyed the cultural experience.

Great place that Carmel & Martin host near Cliffs !

Me and my cousin loved it here. Martin and Carmel are such lovely people. They were able to accommodate all our needs immensely and we are forever grateful to them. We will definitely be booking this place again. Martin is the best tourist guide in Doolin !

Carmel and Martin were such wonderful hosts and it was like home away from home for me - so welcoming and hospitable and the home cooking was delicious. I’d strongly recommend it to others.

Doolin Sunset was just what we needed after a long day of traveling. We felt very comfortable in our room, plus the scenery was beautiful. The hosts were also very hospitable. A big thanks to Martin for giving us a tour of the area and for driving us to our destination. We definitely recommend Doolin Sunset for anyone visiting the area/areas nearby.

The most awful property I have ever stayed in that should be delisted as a choice for accommodations.

Absolutely nothing. Worst accommodation I have ever had, and I am a 70 year old that is well traveled

When you walk in the main side entrance, you fear falling thru the floor that actually sinks down over a quarter of an inch. Very cheaply built home that looks like it was built with only a manual saw and hammer. Cheapest construction materials possible. A few tea bags in room, but no cups. No glasses at all. Old linens. Horrible worn out mattress. No soap except bath wash in shower. We couldn’t ask for anything because host left immediately after showing us our room and was never seen again. Picture of property is extremely misleading. To the left side yard is a junk yard that backed up to our bedroom window. Piles of concrete blocks, scrap lumber, an old unusable trailer and general trash everywhere. It was truly a white trash accommodation that should be taken off the market. It definitely clouded my opinion of ever using Booking.com again.

A lovely stay in the country

Location was well away from everything and we had a lovely peaceful stay in the countryside, which was as I had planned. Room spacious and bed comfortable. Out hosts were lovely and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our chats over breakfast.

It was how I expected although we did take a few turns to find it, but that may have just been us !

I loved the friendliness of Carmel and Martin. From the moment I arrived they made me feel at home. They suggested places to visit and walk around as well as pubs I could go to. The room was clean, spacious and warm. I loved the views from my window to the Cliffs of Moher. Breakfast was exceptional. I will certainly stay again if I am back in Doolin.
