Good for a visiting Doolin and Aran Islands

Great location with a nice view. The place was clean and instructions to get there and in the place were clear. Ten minute drive to Doolin pier and restaurant area.

Upstairs loft stairs were a bit steep and shallow and the ceiling was very low on the edges so needed to take care getting out of bed. Just a note for others, bring what you need to eat, cook and drink as grocery store a decent drive away.

Beautiful cozy home away from home.

Lodge was very cozy, had all the amenities to cook meals and clean up. Great water pressure! Vincent was very kind and gave us some great advice on places to go and how to get there. The Cliffs of Moher are a five minute drive away and breathtaking. He also showed us around the lodge and gave us details about how to turn on the heat, hot water etc. Chase the dog was an added unexpected bonus! 🩶

Excellent location, spotless rooms, welcoming host

We had a wonderful stay at Island View Lodge. The place was spotless, very comfortable, and offered beautiful views of the Atlantic. The location is ideal—peaceful, yet just a short drive to Doolin village and perfect for exploring the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. Vincent was an excellent host, welcoming and helpful with great local advice. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it.

A lovely family trip

The location is simply amazing, super close to the Cliffs of Mother and has a spectacular view on the ocean. The staff are great people, so kind, take care about their guests and have very good advice for our trip. They have the sweetest dog that welcomes you and loves cuddles. The lodge is exactly how it is in the pics. You can find anything you would need for your stay. We hope to come back one day!

Great ocean view and location. Very peaceful. Quick drive to lots of Doolin area attractions. Chase (the dog) greeted us on our way in and every morning and was a very good boy.

A great place to stay to see the Cliffs of Moher.

Vincent was a great host. Really appreciate his advice on the places to visit. His dog gave us a very warm welcome. The apartment was cosy and located near the scenic sites.

The hot water in the shower was a bit tricky to manage. Bathroom was big but some hooks to hang clothes would be great.

Wonderful stay! The Cliffs of Moher by boat, incredible.

The location was wonderful! Victor our host, with Chase the affectionate Golden Retriever, greeted us as though we were old friends! Victor gave us some great tips on viewing the Cliffs of Moher as well as the wonderful telling us about McGann's, where a great trio of Irish musicians played into the night, one of the instruments played so wonderfully was the Uillean Pipes, amazing! The people, the food, and the music, we'll never forget!

Amazing location for both the Cliffs of Moher and boat tours from Doolin Pier. The accommodation was lovely and very comfortable, perfect for a small group or family. Vincent was so kind and Chase the dog was a lot of great company!

Extremely accommodating host Jo-ann! Perfect location , very comfortable 👌, would have loved to have stayed longer! Chase the beautiful dog stole our hearts immediately, 💕

Just a personal observation, the twin room upstairs is fine for children or very able bodied, might be worth saying the stairs are very narrow and steep, I would def sell it as a kids room as the pitched ceiling isn't great for anyone over 5ft 6in ; My son who's 6ft 1 took several bumps to his head , * It def didn't affect our stay but worth noting if a guest was expecting normal stairs as it's very tight and not conducive to anyone tall or with mobility issues, maybe change the sofa in the living for double a bed settee,

This is a true gem! If you get a chance to stay with Vincent, do it!

We loved the location! Vincent, our host, was phenomenal!! So gracious. He met us personally as we arrived late, hungry and tired. He directed us to the best little pub close by. In the morning we had a furry greeting committee. Chase is a super friendly dog who came to say hello. The view from the sitting area is fabulous. We will definitely revisit if we get back that way.

The house was a bit warm for us. We did open a window to cool it off. It would have been nice to be able to control the temps ourselves. But that wasn't a huge deal for us.

Felt like home upon arrival

Such a warm and caring host, is Vincent. His dog is too. The apartment is great. Plenty kitchen utensils, TV and DVD player. Secluded for privacy.

Just don't go up the stairs with just your socks on. You may slip. And you may bump your head when getting out of bed, when sleeping upstairs. The shower cabin can do with an anti-slip rubber mat.
