The pod was fab, it was so cosy and had everything we needed. Steve was great and so accommodating, we arrived later than expected and it was no trouble, we were met on arrival and he was very welcoming and talked us through everything. When asked, he was able to suggest pubs that might be open for us to check out that evening, despite it being early January and ‘off season’. There was freshly baked bread, local snacks and even a bottle of red wine waiting for us, such a nice touch! It was a short walk to the pubs, cafes and other attractions in Doolin and the walk home after a few beers at the pub was great fun. Views from the pod were spectacular, with the cliffs and coastline visible in the distance. Whilst visiting the cliffs wasn’t on our agenda this time, it was only a short drive away. Nothing was needed during our stay, we were very much left to our own devices but knew we could reach out should anything crop up. Would highly recommend and would certainly return in the future!

Great cabin with a fantastic view of the cliffs of Moher. Very tranquil and more spacious than it looks. The owner is really nice and makes you feel very welcome.

What an absolute little gem of a spot! I could not fault our stay here. It was absolutely perfect. The pod is a great size, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could need. They even left a very generous supply of homemade bread, yogurt, milk, wine and snacks. There’s also a coffee machine. The location is incredible! You can see the cliffs of mohair from the front door, and it’s only a few minutes walk to the pub. The owners, Steve and Saoirse are so lovely and made us feel very welcome.
Not a single thing.

I'd like to sincerely thank the owner for his help and friendly service. We arrived late at night, and the room was already prepared, warm and cosy for our arrival. The Pod had all the amenities, including bread and milk, for breakfast and fruits, which was really clean and nice. I highly recommend it to everyone! Kind regards, Tomas

We spent three nights in Doolin and absolutely loved our stay. The pod was fantastic—modern, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. Saoirse and Steven were wonderful hosts; they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and even provided breakfast essentials such as bread, yogurt, fruit, cereal, and coffee.
The setting is truly special. Surrounded by peaceful green fields with stunning views of the cliffs and skies, it’s the ideal place to relax and enjoy nature. At the same time, it’s only a short walk to the main street, where you can find traditional pubs and local shops.
We highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet, scenic, and memorable experience in Doolin

An iconic place and accomodation. Near the village but remote enough to see the galaxy in the starry sky at night and listen to the wind blow between the cliffs of Moher.Quiet.Cozy.And totally weatherproof.Steve and Saoirse made us feel soooo welcome and did everything to help us have an unforgetable holiday.Thank you.

Location is amazing, you see the sea and the Cliffs right out of the door of the pod. Very welcoming hosts (including the dog!), relaxing walk in the fields in order to reach Doolin, the pod is small but well equipped for a short stay.
The only downside could be that in the evening it gets very warm inside (we visited in August), but it gets reasonable if you leave the window at the end of the pod open so it's not a big deal.

Such a lovely stay – Saoirse and Steve were incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. The accommodation was cozy, spotless, and full of charm. We truly enjoyed every moment of our two days there. We even experienced moments we never dreamed of – like coming back tired from a walk along the Cliffs of Moher and hearing Steve call out across the garden to the kids: “You’ve got hot chocolate!” – and when I said, “Wow,” he replied, “That’s not for you… you’ve got wine.” Truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

It was rural and very scenic. Close to town but far enough away to enjoy the quiet of the countryside. The view was amazing with the rolling hills and Atlantic ocean. Everything was comfortable, clean, and convenient. This tiny home had everything you could want and the hosts provided some very yummy freshly baked bread. Most comfortable bed in Ireland.
I can't think of anything.

Couldn't speak more highly of our trip to Gaoth na Mara, Saoirse and Steve have developed an excellent retreat spot that we'd be very happy to return to.
Communication, check in/out, and the pod were all flawless. Location was walkable to some pubs, restaurants, and shops which was absolutely ideal. Everything was clean and easy to find, and the little touches (loaf of brown bread, tayto and chocolate, bottle of wine) were so unexpected and lovely. We had our privacy and felt very comfortable. Shower was great, bed was cosy and warm, tv had Netflix, YouTube etc. Wonderful care and attention to detail, the little space heater was really nice in the evening for a top up of heat and some ambiance, and the flowerpots and solar lights outside made the place so welcoming. Really enjoyed my morning cup of coffee on the picnic table outside with views of the Cliffs, also the perfect spot to catch the sunset.
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
I know there's capacity for up to 4 people in the pod, but would say that it's ideal for 2 adults!

Easily one of the best places we stayed at during our 18-day road trip around Ireland.
The accommodations were perfect for our family of four. The bunks were big enough to sleep our 14 yr old and 12 year old, and the adult bed in the main room offered a wonderful view of the Cliffs of Moher. The location is also situated well for exploring the Burren area. It's only about a 7 minute walk to the nearest pub, and it's not that far from other attractions.
However, the best part of this stay were the owners. They were warm & welcoming, and they made sure that all our questions were answered. One cool bonus: Steve is the only auto mechanic around for miles, so if you're having car troubles.....!
