Coffee outlets are many, especially good is the Hatch on way to pool-no shortage of opportunities for a treat!
Situated on the Wild Atlantic way, a 2500km. tourist route from Cork to Donegal, this is a wonderful base to explore the area, including Cliffs of Moher, Doolin village (catch the ferry to Aran islands and take a boat trip to see cliffs from a different perspective). Don't forget to check out the music in the local pubs!
Visit the Burren-139km.of limestone hills and valleys, dropping into the sea at Cliffs of Moher, which rise 200m. vertically out of the sea.
The north Clare coastal drive up to Black Head offers amazing views.
Don't miss the drive -via Doonbeg and Trump International Golf course - to Kilkee and South West Clare and Loop Head.
For the children, for a break from the beach, the local playground is very popular and accessible, as is Moher Hill open farm for a day's entertainment.
